Why would people quit because of that? You can still trade CC just the same. It's just a different process, and you trade for what you would have spent the CC on instead~đą But yeah, when I started playing I noticed that there's usually not to many people online, it's kinda lonely sometimes~But yeah...I plan on staying. I quit Neopets for this site because I find this one much more interesting. Plus there's not so much stuff to do that it's hard to keep track of.I dunno, even if people aren't on that much I get entertainment out of this site xD Hopefully more people will learn about it though that plan on staying so it can get back to what you guys are saying it was like ^^I've come across many rude people on here, and they are rude for the dumbest reasons to, but it's kind of made up for with all of the nice people I've met. I guess no matter what site you play on there will always be some kind of drama though~And I'm excited to see the new creatures in an hour đ I'm keeping my fingers crossed that at least one of the CC creatures is amazing ^^

@faerie_eclair_mallow No one's been rude to me...đ People can be grouchy sometimes, I guess. I don't plan on quitting for a long time.Oh, I hope there are cool creatures tomorrow!!!

I agree whole-heartedly. People should understand every change that happens is for the common good of everyone, weither they like it or not. Everybody traded so much CC instead of buying it. Ian needs the money from CC to keep Egg Cave open and it's not cheap. I'm sure you could buy a car with the amount he needs. Take DA (Dragonadopters.com) as an example. It was shut down due to the creator not being able to give that much effort into the site. We're priveledged to have a site where the creator puts his heart into the joy of others. We should help him instead of complain about his every step.I quit various sites to be able to talk with my EC friends. It brings tears into my eyes but a new light shines on my face, drying then instantly. My friends have been my life. I have more than I can count. I know it's sad to see them move accounts or quit, leaving me just an old, withered shell for me to poke at. But I log on to my computer every day with a happy face. Over the course of how long I've been here, a lot has occurred. Some sad and bitter. Egg Cave has been my Sweet Retreats, where I run to escape reality, where I can spread hours talking with my friends. I could spend every second of the day in the summer where I'm off from school talking to friends. And still, it's sad when August and September roll around, the tree of Egg Cave's leaves turn brown and fall away. Many blossomed when they are here, old and young. Egg Cave is a great place. We should enjoy it to our heart's content. We should appreciate the mods, admins and others, who come to our rescue when we encounter a question, problem or bug. We should be thankful and not steal, hack or cheat others because all of us is one, and that one is Egg Cave.

@leafpoolz @newlife @morgana We were abusing the CC gifting system; the staff were right to take it down. Ian specifically said that we were not to trade CC.Back to the original question, it depends what time you're on. đ I usually come online around 2AM ECT on the weekends and it's super quiet because everyone's sleeping. xD (I wake up when everyone's gone to sleep because my timezone is ECT+5.)Summer also keeps people busy - moving, new schools, holidays, trips, shopping (you'd be surprised đ), general IRL stuff.

*sigh* When I first came to eggcave it was super busy I was almost overwhelmed by the activity of all the people in the forums and the beautiful artwork of the creatures. Now it is all....âšī¸Though there are now some scammers out there, most users are really kind. For example, 1.there are users that are helping me immortalize although need to immortalize their creatures as well, 2.others bring up conversations and their chats are always polite and courteous. 3. Also, there are some that worry if the trades are fair or not ,I feel very touched đ <----(There are two users that did this but me not going to say names,I don't want to bother them đ)

While I won't be able to address all of these concerns, I will take a stab.First off, CaveCash gifting wasn't removed primarily because of scamming. It was removed because CaveCash became a sort of "gold standard" that trumped the Egg Coin (EC) in the free markets. As a free web site, it was detrimental for our players to be dominated by a paid currency. Gifting was meant to be used for sending a one-way gift to a friend, without expecting anything in return. But it was misused and established an insecure, under-the-table currency exchange market, which massively inflated the value of CaveCash relative to the EC.Second, with regards to trade/forums activity, school season has just begun. Students are back in class all around the world, which leaves less time for Egg Cave. So, yes, you may notice a change in buzz, but it's certainly not because Egg Cave is dying or that there's a mass exodus of people "quitting." There's not. And remember, "I'm quitting" topics are often drama-filled and exaggerated. Ironically, the people who start them often remain on the Forums to continue to discuss things. *baffled* đFinally, with the art. I've mentioned this on another topic, but Egg Cave has been experiencing high turnover with artists this past year. This hasn't been due to a lack of planning, but because of a difficulty in regulating people's schedules with Egg Cave's monthly quotas. Our artists are not volunteers; they are paid and are commissioned by Egg Cave for real-life work. Remember that our artists are real people, with opinions, and personal artistic styles; be careful how you criticize anyone. Would you say half of these things to an artist in real life? If not, then keep it to yourself.I hope that this answers some of your concerns! Due to the nature of this topic, I am going to close it.Thanks much!
