DATE: SEPTEMBER 1ST
GOAL: 4000 POSTS

Greetings, Egg Cavers! We're here to bring you today's latest announcement, involving the blog.
After a week without any new updates, the blog post announcing Leila's arrival has gotten quite a few comments. This got me thinking, and after some discussing with some other people on the blog, I've decided that we could try to break the record for the most comments on a single blog post.
So far, the blog with the most posts is this one: http://eggcave.com/blog/comments/164 Over 3900 comments. So our goal will be 4000.

So, do you want views? Do you want to talk with other members? Bring the blog back to life? Join us!

@ladybugheart i think this is a great idea! blogs quickly die once the topic is exhausted. i think it would be really helpful in keeping the blog alive to set a goal for it until the next blog is posted. since we dont know when that is, it makes everyone jump in with both feet. 😃

I remember that a lot of users were trying to do this once. But since it was way back when Egg Cave was much smaller, our goal was only 1000 posts xD

The only problem is that there's going to be a new blog post every day for Site Trivia. I still hope we can do it, though. On another site I'm on, we did 20,000 posts in one day. o_o
