Creature Suggestion: The Grylli

Grylli: Gryllidae, "true crickets," shortened

Was inspired by a cricket chirping in my math class 😋

About Grylli Eggs:
Grylli eggs are one of the smallest eggs in all of Ark history. Try to keep an eye on where your Grylli egg is at all times or else you may wind up stepping on it by accident. Before the thermometer was invented people used Grylli eggs to tell the temperature. If you count the amount of chirping in 14 seconds and then add 40 you will get the temperature.

About the Grylli:
The Grylli is almost twig-like and should be handled very carefully. Although they have wings, the Grylli never, in recorded history, has flown at all. The Grylli is not a sociable creature. As a Grylli matures, the creature goes through a personality change. When young, the Grylli prances about, chirping merrily, almost boasting. As an adult, the Grylli no longer chirps and hides during the day. The SAR Center is not sure what brings upon this change but an old fable tells why this happens to the Grylli.

The Fable of the Grylli:
Long, long ago, when Ark was still new, there was a great war against the animals and plant creatures. This war raged on for decades and decades. One creature, the Grylli, was not sure what side he would be on, always fought with the side he felt was winning. When both sides announced peace, the Grylli's treacherous behavior was known to all. Thus, the Grylli was forced to flee into the night, always alone.

I'm personally not a huge fan of insects (some are fascinating though!) but this little creature looks rather adorable. I love how the egg has legs and antennas.

Although Egg Cave has had quite a few insect creatures lately, I think this one could be made as it's by far the cutest one among them. Crickets aren't so bad!

I have to agree with Safikei, this is definitely the best insect design we've seen so far! 😸
And grasshoppers/crickets (it personally looks like a grasshopper to me) have never been made on EC! So it's a good thing! ^^ Yaay!

Wow i really like the design but the leg on the egg kinda creeped me out 😋 I also saw a fire looking horse erased in the back. that would of been cool 😸 I Wish You Luck ^w^
