Thank you all for participating in my contest! This was not an easy decision; I even had a darling friend of mine read over these poems with me to help me come to a sound conclusion. So without further ado, our winners are...

Crystar
Arched so magically,
Bent through loops,
Loops of gold
With pristine positioning,
With ever so much grace,
It seems so still,
Yet with so much honour,
It is Perfect.

Happy to see people showing some interest. I was beginning to worry illy prompt was too intimidating/vague and that I wasn't offering enough in terms of prizes...or both. my names on my storage account are so valuable to me, so I'm biased. Haha. Plus, I just snatched up some new ones recently.

you're offering great prizes! and the criteria isn't too challenging.
we can use our imagination to its full extent without being limited to stanzas and rhyming schemes.

when the nov csp creatures come out, i'll advertise this contest for you so word gets out some more, if you don't mind?

My entry: Horsca + Park Bench In Ark City

"On the white road,
I'm walking alone.
Cold snowflakes are falling
on my green body.
Far, between the gray trees,
I see a bench.......
My horn, my hooves and scales,
all are frozen.
I called my herd - no answer - only my echo.
I shake my golden mane for the last time
and into the emptiness I'll go."

Idola + Haunted woods

Surrounded by dead trees
Hearing a wolf's howl
Where did everybody go?
Seeds scattered
Bonfires everywhere
Nowhere to venture
When the Idola is right there.
It looks around and says, "I just wanted seeds!"

Okay, I never wrote an english poem, but I did my best.

#1 2nd stage Biwo - Tree of Sparkling
. Footprints on the cold, soft snow,
Tentacles of light that shine in the sunlight
And a distant sound, muffled, confused.
You walk without fear, wolf
Camouflaging in the white snow
And you stop just for a moment,
Observing with your icy eyes
This place, so pure, that human eyes never saw
So deserted and quiet, crossed only by the footsteps of your pack.
You wonder if everything will remain the same,
Also after many years.
But you do not have the answer.
You raise the nose to the sky studded with stars
And howl at the full moon,
Your candid, silent friend.

#2 2nd Stage Cetopia - The Northern Desert
You life's so simple
In the endless, dead desert
Day after day.
But you sometimes ask yourself
Why so many fear you,
As you're a gentle soul.
You ask why so many humans
Trust the force of appearance
Instead of try to see
What lie beyond your mask.

Shoot, I was going to do a Biwo with ToS as well. (The snowy theme... *-*) Nevermind. xD
I found it so hard /not/ to make these poems rhyme or follow a rhythm. D:
I've put the creatures and travels at the bottom so you can try to guess them as you read the poem, if you want. x3

Her angelic wings
Chasing the never-ending cotton candy
Full of freedom
Full of life
Sugary sweetness
Graceful perfection
Her tail, a contagious Cupid's arrow
Her eyes, a one-of-a-kind opal
Her body, nothing more than
A worn-out
charm.

Never has a star shone as bright as this
It guides me to where I
Belong
In this curled state
I remain solitary
Forever
Holding on to a non-existent hope
That I will find
Someone.

I see you
Glaring, yet beaming,
At the Moon
You are the devil's dream advocate
But you are also an angel
Sent straight
from heaven.

Are the rumours true?
Will you lead me to the
Fine riches that are forever golden
or the inevitable darkness
that once was
your light?

Wishing for, yet cursing at,
the Moon.

My 2nd entry: Evolved Luskrull + Glowing Mushroom Fields

''Howling wolves in the deep forest,
black bird flying to the North
And moonlight on my way,
I walk through the glowing mushrooms.

Their blinding light urges me to eat them....
I refuse....
My misty mane flowing under my body
and my red eyes scaring other species,
I sat down between the mushrooms
and I howl with the wolves;
With my inner beast forcing me
to release it.

I'm a monster......no, I'm a ghost - fear me!
'Cause I'm the master of night
And those who will stay in my way,
mercilessly, their soul I will take....."

Poem # 1:
This poem is about my guinstar and the northern star travel.


The sky is a deep dark sea
Filled with spots of silver
I blend in almost perfectly
With my coat of feathers
So beautiful

As I stare into the glory of it all
I wonder if I'll ever be loved
Or if I will fall
Like the stars

The sky is so vast
A big open space
So empty yet so full
Like my heart and its emotions

I miss the way it used to be
When I was young
Life was so simple
I had friends and it was fun
But now, I'm all alone


Sorry I ended up rhyming a couple verses... -____-"
I usually do rhyming poems 😊

Poem # 2:
This poem is about my diment and the haunted woods travel.

Flying through the air
In the deepest darkest woods
My surroundings I know are scary
But I know I'm scarier

The moon shines down upon
My hard cracked face
And through my eyes you'll only see
Two dark little holes
And in those holes you'll see
Silver flames

My head is ringed with a deep purple ruff
My coat of fur is scarlet red
It's hard not to look
At the vibrant colors

I think to myself
How did I become?
Was I born from a mother?
Or an egg did I hatch from?

I can't worry about that now
I'm nearly there
Halloween is my favorite night
To grin and scare
My thirst for fear cannot be satisfied.

Poem #3
This one's about my frion and the travel poppy plains

I lay in the field
The sun about to set
Poppies of red
Surrounding me
They match the ring around my face
Oh so perfectly

My soft mint green fur
And my kind eyes
Make me look less
Like the killer I am inside

I am a prideful lion
I hunt and I kill
I may seem friendly
But I will kill you
But I will kill you

The Moon, she hangs like a cruel portrait
Soft winds whisper the bidding of trees
As this tragedy starts with a shattered glass heart
And the Midnight trampling of dreams
But oh, no tears please
Fear and pain may accompany Death
As We shall see...

She was divinity's creature
Far beyond compare
Now a repeating nightmare...

The trees stank of sunset and rot
Their lanterns chased phantoms
Like the shadows they cast
Putting reason to flight
Or to death as their way
I crept through woods mesmerized
Searching Her ghost in the fog

To be lost,
confused, afraid,
walking alone through abandoned city,
knowing a monster lurks there
and it's haunting you.

To be lost,
confused, afraid and alone,
through every single day,
would you run from your fears,
or stood up and fight?
