Today ads have been disfiguring certain eggcave pages for me on both firefox and chrome.

Example: http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/297/d/7/ad_issue_by_alienbu-d6rpddf.png

Is this just my computer? If so, how can I fix it?

Woah that's strange
is the page zoomed in, out?
Maybe try clearing the cached, history, cookies and things like that

@mastergemma
No, it was not zoomed.
Tried all that. Didn't work.

What did work was uninstalling then reinstalling firefox. Didn't bother reinstalling chrome.

@neila Using Chrome & installing AdBlock would be your best bet 😊

@poof
That screenshot involved having adblock active. It did the same thing with chrome with it too having adblock active. The problem was the browser being out of date and so adblock could no longer function the way it was supposed to.

And actually, in my case, mozilla is better. Chrome often gave me errors when loading certain webpages I frequently visit.

I dont know if AdBlock works on browsers on other than Chrome, but...
Mine didnt work anymore after an update so I had to delete and add it again. You could do the same? Delete it, and add again. Worked for me.

@poof
There is an adblock for mozilla.

Anyways, I have already fixed this issue on my own. This problem has long since been resolved and I no longer need any help with it.

If you don't mind me asking, how did yo fix that problem? My old computer is having the same issue and I can't fix it. I have mozilla firefox and ad block active. But it's still the same D:

@faerie_eclair_mallow
I uninstalled then reinstalled mozilla firefox and re-added ad block.
