Marcy placed her hand on top of Blaze's and smiled. Her frozen tears melted away and she stopped trembling. "I'm fine. It's just I get scared when I get too cold and I just need a drink and you by my side" Marcy replied with a smile and squeezed Blaze's hand.

Piper jumped back startled by Syke's new appearance but then she grinned but she stayed a good distance from the wolf. "I told y'all. I told y'all she was a shifter" Piper exclaimed as she gazed down at the wolf.

"Okay Piper you were right" Shay exclaimed as he backed away from Skye the wolf, gently pulling Izzy with him. "Skye, please calm yourself. We mean no harm, we just don't like being called 'freaks'" Shay exclaimed as he tried to calm Skye.

"If all you need is me by your side, you'll never be too cold again," he replied, as they pulled into the parking lot of a bar, giving her a quick kiss.

(OMG I LOVE THEM AS A COUPLE!!!! THE FEELS, MAN!)

Tears streamed down, matting her dark fur. She felt out of control, more emotional than ever. Taking panicky breaths, she concentrated, forcing herself out of wolf form and collapsing to the floor, drained of energy. Looking dazedly at Shay, she smiled wryly. "Well that's what we are, right?"

Izzy rolled her eyes at Skye, waving her off as 'just another drama queen'. "As much fun as that was, I think I'll be going now," she announced with a bored sigh. She exited the room, her tail flicking around. Exiting the house, she passed her Nissan Cube and made her way down the dusty sidewalk, wind tossing her light hair.

Marcy's smile widened and brightened as she took in Blaze's words. "Maybe I won't need that drink after all" Marcy exclaimed as she gave Blaze a wink before leaning towards him, giving him a peck on the cheek. "Thanks for being my knight in shining armor" Marcy whispered, her cool breath running down Blaze's neck. Then Marcy pulled herself back and exited the car.

"Yea it is what we are but I would prefer to be called special or different, Okay?" Shay exclaimed with a smile. Then he ran after Izzy, when he saw her leave. "Where are you going?" Shay asked as he came up beside Izzy.

Piper walked over to Skye and held out her hand. "You need help getting up, Skye?" Piper asked with a smile. "Oh and I'm Piper by the way" Piper added.

Getting out of the car, he was greeted by the familiar smell of alcohol. He ordered a beer and grabbed a napkin, burning it as tendrils of smoke wrapped around the blackening white. He leaned back, bored of his power. Couldn't do much with burning things...

"Eh, I don't care." She kicked a small rock out of her way, her eyes on the cold concrete. "I... don't know whether or not I like being this strange... demon creature. It kinda freaks me out to think I'm not really normal anymore," she admitted looking up at him, vulnerability in her eyes. She had never really spoken her feelings aloud before. Shay just made her feel... different, more open.

Skye narrowed her eyes, ignoring her hand. Helping herself up, the werewolf used her willpower to transform once again. As the silver streak spread across her black fur in the ending stage of change, she growled and snapped at Kuro Tora, causing the neko to yelp.

"Hey back away from her" Piper growled as she shielded Kuro Tora from Skye. "What did she ever do to you, freak?" Piper hissed as her claws came up and her pupils became slits.

"Hey Izzy, you don't look as strange as you think. I mean I think you look kinda cute with your horns and tail" Shay exclaimed as he fluttered his black wings, shyly. "I mean I must look strange with these wings." Shay added as he touched one of his black feathered wings.

Marcy watched as Blaze burned a napkin and wondered what would happen if she touched one. Once her skin made contact with the napkin, a sheet of ice covered it. Marcy put her hand to her mouth as she took in a breath of shock. "Oh my gosh. If I can do this to a napkin then what can I do to a normal person's skin" Marcy uttered behind her hand. Then she grabbed the beer she had ordered and chugged it down. "Another one" Marcy shouted as she removed her hand from the now chilled beer cup. Once Marcy had down 3 more beers, she still wasn't drunk so she gave up and decided to leave. As she was leaving a drunken man grabbed her arm, only to get his hand taken over by frostbite. Marcy took in a startled breath and then ran out of the bar, with frozen tears streaming down her cheeks.

Skye was out of control, she was crazy. It was like she was watching someone else do this, acting this way. She snapped at Piper, a low rumble erupting from her throat.

Izzy fought the strange urge to blush, something she had never had to do before. What was happening? She didn't blush! She let her hair fall in her face, blocking the scarlet color staining her cheeks. She halted, turning to Shay with a small shake of her head. She stepped closer, her hand brushing against a wing. "I think the fallen angel look is kinda hot," she replied with a smirk, so close now that their faces were mere inches apart.

Blaze smiled as she turned the napkin to ice, ordering a beer to go when Marcy got up to go. He followed her, hurrying to keep up. Punching the frostbitten guy in the face, he ran after her, catching her by the arm, pulling her back. "Tell me what's wrong," he said, his hands on her waist, spreading his heat through her to calm her.

Piper swung at Skye as she snapped at her, almost scratching Skye's eye out. Once Piper saw that near hit, she felt her claws go away and her pupils go back to normal. 'What is happening to me?' Piper thought. Then she looked at Skye. "I am so sorry Skye. Please don't hurt me or Kuro Tora. We mean no harm unless you do" Piper tried to reassure Skye.

Shay sucked in a quick breath when Izzy's hand stroked his wing and his heart rate quickens when Izzy was mere inches from his face. "Izzy now that I think about it, the demon look is super hot" Shay whispered to Izzy as his hand brushed her cheek and put some of her hair behind her ear. His hand lingered on her cheek and then his other hand landed on her waist and pulled a little closer. When Shay's lips brushed Izzy's, Shay felt his wings spread out and wrap around them. Shay pulled back and gazed at Izzy's face. "I wish this could last forever" Shay exclaimed as his hand intertwined with Izzy's and he put a tiny bit of distance between them.

Marcy looked up at Blaze, her tears melting away but more kept coming and Marcy hugged Blaze. "I didn't know I could do any of that. Imagine if I tried to touch a normal person, I would probably freeze their hand off and what if that person was my mom or dad. I can't take this, I mean I can when I'm with you but what happens when your not. I will have a meltdown and probably cause a blizzard somewhere without your warmth to keep me under control. I'm nothing without you" Marcy explained as she cried in Blaze's arms.

Skye whimpered and backed up, afraid of what one of them might do - including herself. She backed up into a corner, trembling from uncontrollable rage and fear.

Izzy returned his kiss, her heart trembling. She heard the words and backed up. "You're... you don't think this is gonna turn into a relationship, right?" she demanded to know although she wanted to continue to be kissing him, forget about everything. "Because it's - it's not. I don't want a relationship," she said, breaking free from his wings. Why was she saying these things? Part of her wished she hadn't said a thing, just kept kissing him. But the other half was taking control, and this Izzy didn't want to commit to anything. Especially not a binding relationship! She felt like she had to leave and she managed to get her wing flapping, leaping into the air and flying into the air.
(Ugh. Izzy just had to ruin everything! Sorry, had to add a bit of drama 😸)

He listened to every word she said, holding her tighter. "Shh," he shushed her, kissing her cheek, salty from the tears. "You just need to learn to control it, that's all. After all, I could touch someone and melt their hand off," he said with a chuckle. "But until then, you don't have to worry. You'll never have to know what it is to be without me because I'll always be here for you," he told her, giving her a kiss. He wiped away her tears, and a small sizzling sound could be heard as the wet tears were dried by his hot skin.

"Skye please, I'm sorry if I scared you. Please change back. I promise I won't hurt you. Something just came over me and took over and I'm sorry for that" Piper said reassuringly as she took cautious steps towards Skye.

"Izzy" Shay shouted as he lifted into the air after Izzy. "That is not what I meant at all. I meant that I wished we could stay kissing forever but we can't because our friends and family will need us" Shay shouted. He soon caught up with Izzy and took her in his arms and wrapped his wings around them. "Izzy, I want this relationship and I like you a lot" Shay whispered before he kissed Izzy's cheek.

Marcy smiled as she heard the sizzle of her tears disappearing. "Oh Blaze" Marcy whispered as she wrapped her arms around Blaze's neck and hugged him. "So where to now? Its your turn to pick" Marcy asked Blaze with a smile. Marcy pulled out of the hug and grabbed Blaze's hand. Then she pulled him towards the car.

Skye tried, she did. But it was to no avail. She couldn't change back. And now she was afraid what she would do. At any minute she could lose control.

Izzy closed her eyes, folding in her small wings, plummeting to the ground. At the last moment she swerved upwards, needing to get away. She had to be alone for just a moment.

He was about to answer but as they got into the car, he pulled her close, immersing them into a deep kiss.

(Sorry it's kinda short, I'm lazy)

Piper finally was close enough, she looked directly into Skye's eyes. "Skye, I want you to think hard about changing back, Okay? Think about all the good memories of being a human" Piper exclaimed to Skye.

Shay saw how Izzy was acting and felt she didn't want to be with someone right now so he slowly made his way back to the ground and walked slowly back to the house.

Marcy kissed Blaze back, wrapping her arms around his neck and tangling her fingers in his hair.

Skye blocked out everything, trying to control her feral wolf self. After a few moments of calm, deep breaths, she managed to shift back, leaning against the wall, breathing heavily from all the effort taken out of her.

Flying to a tree, she landed on a thick branch, sitting down and trying to think. What had she done? Shay must hate her. She bit her lip and blinked away a tear. Shy never cried - what was going on?

(Okay... so... I'm not sure where this might be leading, but even so, we probably shouldn't go into any further detail about this. Where exactly is it leading? Will, um, will we have to skip?)

Marcy opened her eyes, not even knowing that she had fallen asleep. When she looked at her surroundings, she saw she was in the back of the SUV and she had fallen asleep on Blaze's chest. "Blaze" Marcy whispered as she gently shook him.

Piper walked over to Skye and looked her up and down. "How about you get some rest" Piper exclaimed as she helped Skye up and lead her over to a couch.

Shay glanced behind him and saw Izzy land in a tree. 'I love you Izzy and i am sorry if you can't see that' Shay thought before he turned back around and entered the house. "I'm Back" Shay exclaimed once his feet hit the carpet of the living room.

Skye went with Piper and sat on the couch, catching her breath. She was exhausted. And scared. What if she ended up really hurting someone? Until she could control it, she had to avoid using her power. Kuro Tora watched her, scared. She heard Shay enter and looked up to see him. "Well, you missed a lot," she chuckled nervously.

I would like to officially remind both of you that part of Egg Cave's rules is No Romance roleplaying. Both of your posts have been dancing around that line but having your characters "do things" even in a fade to black situation is against the rules.

I would ask that you both start toning down the amount of romance in your posts so you don't inadvertently break the rules and get this RP closed.

(no they just fell asleep because the alcohol began to get to them. Marcy got a little tired when they stopped kissing so Blaze carried her to the back and let Marcy use him as a pillow. Does that help?)

"Oh Really. Well i guess you can catch me up later" Shay exclaimed with a small laugh. Then he walked into the kitchen and get some ice water.

"Skye, just rest okay. I mean you must be exhausted from shifting twice" Piper exclaimed as she stroked Skye's hair. Then Piper stood up and looked at Kuro Tora. "Its okay, she had to get that energy out somehow. She won't hurt us" Piper reassured her as she took a step towards her.
