Gobbler Prizes Question

I was looking at the eggs that are available if you were in the top 50 of the gobbler hunt. It says you can choose any creature as your reward. All the creatures listed are creatures that are available at the cave.

My question::

It says in the archives that Terron is available at the cave, should it not also be listed as one of the prizes?

That's a good point. O.o The Mo is as well. Hopefully we can get some answers for this. =O

hey i agree - i want the calla and it shows to be available in the archives, albeit, not on the awards list. what's up? we worked hard to get the gobblers and stay on the list for a special award.

@coolbobj Callas aren't usually allowed because they're only available in the SAR Center, not the Cave. 😉

Mos and Terrons should be available. :x @Ian?

Mos and Terrons, like last year, are not available as a Find The Gobblers prize.

Sorry if this is a disappointment; it's the same as it was last year. Prizes will be all new and fun next year, with prizes for non-top 50s.

I did not know that they were not available last year because at that time, I was not a member.

The Blog said that any creature that was available through the cave could be picked. So I am sure most of us went directly to the archives (I know I did) to see which creatures were noted as cave creatures. So I assumed that any that were listed as being available in the cave could be chosen.

Yes, it is a disappointment because most of us did spend a lot of time looking for all those gobblers when we didn't have to. All we had to do was visit the cave. We could have avoided running after all those sly turkeys ... 😊

So now we know.

@Ian Can I ask why Mos and Terrons don't qualify as "cave creatures"? Terrons I can sort of understand because they're not available 24/7. But I don't see why Mos aren't allowed... Is it just because they are/were more uncommon than other creatures? :x

You basically have it... Mos and Terrons aren't conventional Cave creatures (in terms of how they are obtained), so they didn't make it to the list.
