Where Are All the Travels!?

I've gone to the Travel Agency many times today. Not once did I see a single travel. Is anyone else having ths problem? Or is it because everyone is buying them? Just wondering...

Yes, but I haven't every built anything in my life that required geometry. Maybe if I was a construction worker but, I don't plan to be. 😋

There were three travels in there about an hour ago, i managed to buy two tall flowers and then I went back and the rest were gone. Other than that I haven't seen anything. It's really weird

It could possibly be an autobuyer but, they added the thing where you have to type in a code to prevent that. I mean, I suppose they could have found a way around it...

When I restocked on neopets, the moment I saw the shop start to empty out, I knew I wouldn't stand a chance at getting anything good lol

You'd be surprised what people make those things capable of xP

Yeah, I know people do it on neopets. It was pretty clear whenever I tried to restock my shop...I havn't been there in a long time. Do you have to put in a code before you buy, or do you still push the neopet?

Neither have I. There's nothing better than being able to restock everything yourself lol

I had to go on there to look. I think they changed it from the code to an image, but you gotta type in the amount you want to pay for something, then click the neopet in the image to buy it.

So I guess they still do it the same way as when I was last on there. It really stinks that people have found a way around it and can autobuy. That's part of the reason I stopped playing the site. So many cheaters >_<

I've been on and off there, but just started restocking the last time I was active (last year). It isn't as bad now, I guess? Well, in the places I restocked in at least. Those autobuyers were gone and accounts were frozen in less than a week.

It's where someone has a program they have written or downloaded that will automatically buy things on online games for them. They don't even have to be on the computor, the program buys whatever item they have told it to as soon as it's in stock.

I thought that it was out of stock last night until later today and I was wondering where the travels went. I was however able to get one giant thunderstorm, an underwater cave, and a blue forest around a time frame of 3-6 pm or so, but I was refreshing the page as often as possible just to see if there was something wrong, or if they were just restocking then taken fast. There were a few I missed out on because they were taken so fast, which was surprising to me since I usually have a chance at one, but new restock of three disappearing just like that is just creepy. It's weird how it's emptying so quickly.

Perhaps more members are interested in stocking up on travels now than before? Considering the secret Santa, and all the travel trading threads. Or maybe because of the new travels that were created everyone is visiting the place frequently and meanwhile grabbing what is available? That's just my guess though, I have no idea otherwise if something is wrong or not. 😋

I kind of wish that all travels were constantly available, at different prices depending on how rare they were or not, and maybe there being a 10 limit like when you go to the cave each day perhaps? Or maybe that wouldn't be fair, I don't know, lol.

Edit. Whoa, I never heard of autobuying before, that would be bad if that were happening. 😱

I don't know if anybody has contacted a mod. We still can't be sure if it's autobuying yet. Someone could be sitting around buying all the travels, or it could be a system glitch. We're just gonna have to wait and see.

So I guess they have gotten better at catching the cheaters. I might consider returning sometime, I've been gone so long that I'm not sure I really want to.

The way I like to stalk the TA when I'm bored... Let's just say that the way these travels are disappearing aren't at a speed a person can refresh the page, choose a travel to click on, then haggle and buy at.

It's possible, but I've been watching the TA and by the time I could even click on a newly stocked travel (comes in 2-3s), it's gone. I don't think anyone can react that fast.

It could be a glitch. Ian said he updated the restocking machine yesterday, then posted on the blog to say he's working on fixing the weirdness going on in the TA. Seen this happen a few times before, like when ajani and aurora were released, but not for as long as it's happening now.

Could be a glitch, could be an autobuyer, but this definitely isn't a person. Or if it is, well...they need to learn how to share xP

You should! It might be fun. It was very nostalgic for me because I made that account back when I was in like 4th grade or something. All I ever wanted was a faerie bori, and I was finally able to buy the paintbrush for mine lol

I'm doubting it's a person too. I mean, who stays online all day like this anyway? Let's hope it's a glitch. I don't want have to deal with an auto buyer. That would make me angry >_<

I might, I made my account when I was in early elementary school and played it on and off into middle school. It's been quite a while though, I did play for a week last year and painted my draik eventide or something. I did pretty much achieve my dream creatures but, perhaps I'll check up on them ^^

Yeah, right?! Coming all up in here autobuying all the travels on eggcave's only shop. They need to take their autobuying, cheating self back over to neopets or where ever cheaters like to be at >.>

Just saw 2 restocks, but this last one wasn't gone as fast.
Dealing with an autobuyer's gonna ruin the fun for a lot of people. Especially now that it's almost Christmas!

XD lolz, send the cheaters back to neopets. It would be especially bad for eggcave if that happened, it's such a small site and all.

Looked you up over there. Your creatures are dressed very nicely, looks like you put some time into finding good outfits and backgrounds. I'm as4ourhaus over there. Don't even ask about the username, I've got no idea what was going through my head. >_<"

I figured I would put my own notes in here as another person that has noticed this issue.

I usually check the Travels very early in the morning, and normally there has always been at least something there, even common. But I also noticed there is just absolutely nothing there as of late.

But, what I did notice, is that at one refresh, *bam*, travels. So it is putting out travels for sale. But, since I didn't really see anything else I wanted right off the bat and I was mostly curious, I refreshed again. All of the travels save one, was gone. Refresh, and then empty again.

Now, Ive stalked the travels market before plenty and never had any issue. I usually leave the window up, and refresh randomly throughout my day while working. Don't know if this could be seen as really "stalking" but regardless...

There is just absolutely no way I can see possible that, that many travels at once got bought in the matter of...heck, maybe 30 seconds between the first refresh and they suddenly being all gone? It takes me longer than that simply to write in the code to actually buy the travel!

This is definitely some sort of autobuyer, or 'something' is wrong. I could see maybe one or two people getting in a travel real quick but, I highly doubt there was that many people up in the morning just spam-buying from the travel agency.

Having the same problem. Nothing for two days now. And I've been checking back and refreshing.
