Creatures with Same Name

What I don't understand is why we can't have two creatures within the game that share the same name. This site is really popular, so it's hard to find a good name that isn't already taken. I really like this site, but this one detail really annoys me for some reason. So I would just like it if our creatures could share names.

No, because then some people like me, who get a lot of their EC by selling names, wouldn't be able to make profits, and good names just wouldn't be as special.

@otter_pawz I agree with @lemonade. And creatures like Ian's wouldn't be very unique. Look at all the beautiful names. *3*

I have to agree with @lemonade also, and this will cause a lot of confusion. This is kind of like users being able to use the same username, it'll just take originality away from a lot of creatures here on Egg Cave. Your creature name doesn't have to be in the dictionary or one common word to be cool, creativity can be the key. 😊

@lemonade ,@sarahzafirah and @fakeworld have a good point... The names aren't that special anymore if you allow 2 creature to have the same name. As much as I want the name Rainbow, it's a good way to get profit on selling names as I also sell names. If you have 2 creatures with the same name, It'll be hard to identify the creature you're looking for and will sometimes show twins...

I have ta say I don't really like the idea of that option.
Names wouldn't be special anymore. I wouldn't even really bother with it. And then there's the part that people make money by selling especially if they're too attached to the critters and don't wanna sell them so yeah...

U must be creative!
If they had the same name, when u search 4 them in stead of 1 result popping up, 10s... possibly HUNDREDS of results pop up and it would be hard to find what ur looking 4.

No. I love finding/stalking names. It would be awful if there could be 10,000 creatures with the same name ☹️
