@aizel
I like that idea, it feels less like there's a dark, red fog everywhere.

@meixiaotian XD Nope, we're not that old-fashioned. Besides, the sky doesn't just go dark after evil creatures take over X3

Any ideas?

I'm making my baby Adrik and probably a few more evil guys ^^

@aizel
When I think something's dark, I actually imagine it being shrouded in a heavy, black fog 24/7, however unrealistic that is.

So there's the scenario which is set in more modern, Earthy place, and the one that is more fantasy/medieval setting, I think. Right?

@meixiaotian

I'm thinking a precisely Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit setting xD I guess some old land, even before the middle ages when people used to be barbaric and hunted their food, but still lived in fortresses. Okay, I admit, I'm a bit too movie-orientated right now. ^^"

Oi, ah, I don't know about the other modern setting though o_o

@aizel
The modern setting was the Blood Season, slaughter the humans yearly dealio. I didn't pick up the time period, so I assumed it was modern.

I think I have the feel of your scenario now. Would the people we want to win be the hunters or hunted? Do we want peace or utter annihilation in the end?

I sure do love question marks.

@meixiaotian
I guess the two could be made into two separate partner roleplays X'DDD

That's what I love about such roleplays -- NOBODY KNOWS 8D

And nobody cares to know xD WE have to get the feel of the characters first. Considering the humans are used to hunting for their survival, we know they'd be able to fight. However, since they lived in peace for a while, maybe not... If jemmie allowed me to develop the creatures' side thoroughtly, I can give everyone an evaluation of their strength and their advantages over the huma race soon. Right now actually...

Also, I ah... I'm imagining the rise of the creatures would be slow and seamless at first. Adrik's kind would have decided to trick he humans like frogs in hot water. You put them in hot water, they'd save themselves, but if you heat the water gradually, they'd just boil. They'd start with a few dead men from the yearly hunt and then proceed to find their way around or over the wall, through it as well. Either that or the humans maybe would go on another hunt aimed to kill whoever murdered their men? And the entire party would end up dead? XD idk, I'm thinkinf weird now...

@aizel
So, the characters are either hunting or ambushing the humans, chances are. Aaannd... We just see what happens next?

Also, if the creatures intend on doing it gradually, are we going to time skip, or be in a time where their plan is well underway to see it bear fruit?

@meixiaotian
That's the problem with this, though... the action sequences would be filled with time skips and that's kinda... spiffy.
Maybe the creatures and humans make a 'truce' but behinds closed doors, the creatures do whatever they want -- murders, thefts, playing with the humans' minds. And the king would be reluctant to oppose them and confront their leader about the monstrosities commited? Because it is bound to bring on a war.
So it's something of a quiet enslavement. ^^"

I don't know, I'm not good at this Dx You think of the ideas, I give up.

@aizel
Uhm, okay.

What if a group of people find out about this agreement and try to expose the king? The king can't have that, and banishes them to the outside of the borders, where they either deal with a bunch of attacking creatures or somehow make friends.

Or maybe they just go to the border out of their own free will and try to defeat the creatures themselves.

OR maybe they find a creature that also hates this agreement and they agree to work together to, uh... Kill each other. That makes total sense.

@meixiaotian
Oh there would be some creatures that remain outside the border, yes. I think I have a very powerful but peaceful dude there. Still, I doubt the humans would have enough power to go to the border themselves and try to kill supernatural creatures. >.>

Adrik's race would be hostile towards the humans. The rest is up to the other future roleplayers xD I play no part in the other creatures' races >.> They can be good, bad, whatever xD

I kind of have my characters drawn so I'm deriving everything from there. xD

@aizel
They'd have enough power to TRY, just not enough to succeed.

There's no goal for everyone, which is okay for some RPs, but for me, where everyone's RPing on one thread, it will be chaotic and make my head explode.

@meixiaotian
I seriously don't know how everyone can have a goal.
As long as the roleplayers aren't Mary suers, then they'd figure everything out. Either that or it can be made into a PM xD

Okay, I'll get used to it.

On another subject, are there going to be different species of creatures, or do you think it would be a make it up as you go thing?

Make it up as you go xD Idk, I have this emotionless little girl with a ton of pwoer in her, a demon man/woman/thing, a ghost woman with a third eye and this red-skinned mintaur dude... I was thinking of fluking it and making whatever xD

Idk to be honest. (Huh, Idk tbh...)

It sort of went: Gemma, Gemmie, Jemmie, Jemjem, back to Jemmie. 😸 No, my name is not Gemma.

How about in this...land, there was five kingdoms: North Erica, South Erica, Afreecia, Enlivia, and Asiah. On the south eastern side of the world, there was an island called Ausland. Here lay the beasts.

Now the 'kingdoms' were all closed to themselves. The Ericas occasionally traded, but not much else. However, when the Ausland beasts start to crave power, the five kingdoms must unite as one.

God, I'm making this sound all princessy and clichΓ©. Oh god, oh god.

I think five kingdoms meeting each other and combining would be pretty fun to roleplay.

@jemmie Woh, okay. Those are nice ideas. I like the Ericas idea to be honest, the names are catchy. X3
I have a friend that I call Gemma tbh. =3 @onyx ❀️ Bby come online Dx

She's a roleplayer too but [yeep], she has no time. I can see us making the evil side together. xD 'Cause we're evil wonder twins .3.

all of these ideas sound cool so can we create characters and start or are we just going to continue to figure out a plot line? @jupiter_hollow @jemmie @aizel @meixiaotian

@moosecake6 I think we'll continue. If it's going to be a literate/semi-literate roleplay, then it deserves a topic for itself. If someone's willing to write the plot and start a rolepay, then they're welcome, I guess. xD I still think we should all agree on the plot, because there are many ideas. and also many questions.

@jemmie @meixiaotian
Are we combining the ideas?

@jupiter_hollow Haha! 😊 Yeah, I tried to base them off of the actual continents' names.

@moosecake6 @jupiter_hollow
Jupe has a point, as most RPs with literacy usually have a discussion topic to themselves. We could get a better developed storyline, and I can create the actual thing. Unless, of course, you want to start now?

Okay good. πŸ˜‹

I've started thinking about the characters. I know that you/Jupe usually make(s) male characters. If it's going to be in an Alternate Universe (AU), then what would the characters be like? There has to be a range of lifestyles, I would think. Not everyone can be trained, but not everyone can be downright poor either. Are they normal human-like people or do they have special parts? I know I'm the one who's probably starting, but hey, thoughts?

@jemmie

I think I'm speaking for all of us when I'm saying the creatures would be either humans or humanoid creatures -- unless someone wants to create animals or animalistic monsters. =P
As for lifestyles - what era is the main question.

@jupiter_hollow

1.) I mean like, realistic humans or ones with special body parts. Obviously we're not going to create a puppy fighting a monster or something.

2.) I was hoping in the future...? So like, there was this big stage when everything just...died. The few remaining survivors wanted to just forget about everything and start a new life, in order to not have to get depressed over their loved ones for the rest of their lives if you understand what I mean. The RP would take place after the 'Dark Days'. (Oh, HG)

3.) You know, it would be cool to have the monsters be those 'unknown to live' creatures. For example, the chubacabra (sorry, can't exactly spell that), Loch Ness monster, etc.
