i didnt even know jurassic park was a book! i do enjoy the first movie! i have never seen the others. the maize runner, and thirteen reasons why are on my list! and i would also like to read the pretty little liars! i watch the show! do you? and why did you stop reading them? @7731826

i havnt heard of any of those books actually! i think i might like them! one of the books im currently reading is called the 5th wave, its a best seller, its kind of a world ending disaster, although of a different kind. it was very unexpected! i really have enjoyed it so far! i'm a little over half way through! @solaris

John Green is absolutlely amazing! i have read most of his works of art, have you watched his youtube? He is just marvelous. i just adore his ability to come up with the weird quarks that every one of his characots has, i think Agustus is a wonderful example from TFIOS. i realllllly want to buy the t-shirt! also in his book Looking For Alaska is another wonderful example of his ability to create charactors. although i havnt finished that one yet! im actually in the process of reading lots of books right now! And i have all of those book you mentioned on my list! i have read the hunger games, exept for mocking jay! i havnt gotten around to it yet. i love Harry Potter, Percy Jackson although i did get into but i quit after the third book i believe, i cant remeber i would like to read those again, because Rick Riordan is actually kind of a geniues! i love his sense of humor in the books! and the Mortal Instuments is one i have wanted to read for a long time! along with the city of bones, and E Enders game! and many of others!
one that i request you to read and tell me what you think of it is stung by bethany wiggins, its not very well known, i reallly enjoyed it! its a distopian book, its falls into a very simalar catagory as the books that you listed! she is releasing a second book! im not sure when im gonna check on it! but i highly suggest it! @sandstorm99

i havnt heard of either of those! maybe ill try to read the inkheart series at least the first one! a couple of my friends told me thry think i would like them! im not even really sure what they are about! i like happy books or more individual books but sadly the thing right now is series of distopian! i like them i just never get around to finishing the whole series! and they are so depressing! im not really sure i have a "style" or "book personality" but i do like mysteries, im soon working on reading the tale of the hundred year old man who jumped out the window and disapeared! also im reading the like of pi, and the book thief right now! @starling

tahts really interesting! ive never read any of those! but they are classics so i should get around to it! But i do really love Edgar Allen Poe! hes an older author maybe older? i dont really know! 😃 @spiritkoi

@ssshelbbyy

I haven't read any other books by John Green yet! I really need to get my parents to get me them. 😊 And my friends have forced me to sit there and watch the VlogBrothers with them! Mockingjay will break your heart. </3 But you should really finish Percy Jackson! I absolutely loved the fourth book, Battle of the Labyrinth. The Infernal Devices is better than the Mortal Instruments in my opinion. But both of them are amazing... Keep in mind that Cassandra Clare is evil... And you have to have to have to have to HAVE TO read Ender's Game! Orson Scott Card is absolutely brilliant!! It's such an amazing science fiction series. He has based 14 books all around that topic, and it pains me that I don't have enough money to buy it all. xD
Thanks for the recommendation!! I need to go get it now!

@7731826

Yes!!! James Dashner = Ahhhhh!!!!!!
I didn't read the Death Cure yet (Last book) and I really need to. 😊 I really liked his prequel, the Kill Order, best of all.

@ssshelbbyy

Book-lover alert. I can, will, and have stayed up all night reading.

Favorites That I Am Currently Attempting to Collect:
-Warriors by Erin Hunter. I have the whole first two series and the first book of the third as well as two of the standalones. I've read everything else. Even the bears stuff, but that wasn't as interesting to me.
-Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. Read them, loved them, need to get them.
-Books of Valdemar by Mercedes Lackey. I've got the Gryphon, Arrows, and Magic trilogies.
-Dragon Jousters by Mercedes Lackey. Got all four books.
-The Belgariad series and The Malloreon series by David Eddings. My dad owns those. Read them, need to get them for meself. I've recently gotten Belgarath the Sorcerer and Polgara the Sorceress, the two standalones, for Christmas so that's a yay!
-Camber of Culdi series by Katherine Kurtz. Again, dad owns them, want my own.
-The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott. I have the first three books. Ought to re-read those...
-Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. Got Eragon, read the others. Really, REALLY want the others 'cuz that's one of the best series I've ever read. So much detail! I was majorly disappointed with the movie. XP
-Inkheart trilogy. I definitely read the first two books, dunno about the third. Should get back to that. Didn't much like the movie though I suppose it wasn't as bad as Eragon. Dustfinger is totally my favorite.

Truthfully, I do believe I've forgotten most of the books I've ever read. When I was 10 I discovered my dad's Star Trek collection, mowed though it over the course of a year, and the rest is history. Ever since I got my laptop, though, I've been big on fanfiction. For that I mainly read Hogan's Heroes, The Hobbit and LotR, Avengers, X-men, Star Trek, Star Wars, The Fast and the Furious, Stargate, Supernatural, Merlin, A-Team, Riddick, and Once Upon a Time.

I love books! ❤ī¸ I like almost everything though, and I don't like to choose one good book/series over another. Especially if they're both good. DX That doesn't mean I don't secretly think that anyone who debates those two completely hypothetical books is wasting their time... I mean, come on, isn't hypothetical book 1 better than hypothetical book 2? But I don't want to admit it, since hypothetical book 2 was great as well, and hypothetical book 1 did have its flaws. Either way, hypothetical book 3 surpasses both of them, and I have no shame in admitting it.
(Yeah, these are actual books in my head, I'm just not sure I know which ones.)
...
I confuse myself. Like, I know which ones, but each one is also 3 others. And I don't know which goes where or which is better... okay, forget everything I just said, if you want to know if I like something you'll just have to ask. Not that I can see a reason to do that. I spent, like, half an hour writing this post, though most of it was just staring at the screen and wondering why I can't update Java. Great, now I'm wondering if I should even submit this post. It seems irrelevant. Yolo, I guess. I'm doing it before I can change my mind! 😋

@univea i usually get very bored with series!! and i feel like i have to read all of them if i started them!

@purrclan i have the graveyard book on my shelf to read! i just havnt gotten around to it. i recently read the 1st to the giver trilogy! and loved it, im hoping to pick up the other two soon! i want to read the Enders game! and i have read the hunger games and catching fire but i havnt gotten around to reading mockingjay yet!

@crazy_feline ive never actually read any of those!

but you should really consider reading tfios (The Fault In Our Stars) i honestly think that i will continuously think of that book and consider it my fall time favorite. The author, John Green is absolulty fantastic. the book is a tale about a patient with cancer, although the book could be very depressing and sad, but John made the story very thought provoking and interesting.

@spiritkoi I LOVED the Inkheart series. I wish they had come up with more than just the 3 books.

@purrclan Have you read the series that stem off of the Percy Jackson series? I can't remember the name off of the top of my head. I just remember that they are Roman instead of Greek.

Trilogy? You mean quartet. Lois Lowry published the last one just recently.
The Giver, Gathering Blue, Messenger, and Son.

@morgana
Yeah. When I said Percy Jackson, I meant the books in that universe in general. 😋

I just stumbled upon this thread and it is giving me great reading ideas!!

I have to say that there are several series that have been mentioned that I also love, and it is nice I am not the only nerdy bookworm here. 😃

Anyway, I will let you guys get back to your chatting. 😊
