@jupiter_hollow @fluffy xXDD Tumbling out of her... @mila_titan @moomuffins @spiritkoi I find it hilarious that she always talks in third person and calls people by their names, even when she's introducing herself, instead of saying I am Rina, she says Rina is Rina. XDDDD That made my day.__'Okay, Ash, Lys, Aya,' Michael thought to himself. He was about to ask the wolf what his name was, if he could even understand them, when a mouse crawled off his shirt, seeming coming from nowhere. It turned into a girl. Her name was Rina. Or so Michael assumed by the way she said, "Rina is Rina.""Oh really, I wouldn't have been able to figure that one out," Michael said sarcastically. She seemed to be a little crazy, and suddenly turned into a dog, going over to the wolf-man and nudging him softly. Ash started laughing all of a sudden. Michael's own lips twitched, but he didn't let himself smile."Ash..." Michael said, as her laughing turned to crying. Lys's laughing turned insane as she started rolling on the floor, her laugh echoing through the building. Michael, not knowing what to do and now the only one standing, sat down next to Ash trying to comfort her.____Uhh, I think everybody's going a little insane...

@skittlejg The insanity is contagious! Get out while you still have your wits! @fluffy I love your character more and more every post! 😊 @Jupiter_hollow @tillypup @moomufffinsAsh's lip quivered and she a gave herself over to the comforting voice saying her name. Then, that voice. She broke out of the feudal position clamoring to her knees away from the boy, Micheal. She wasn't trying to be hurtful. "In fact," she thought fondly "Micheal is a very kind boy". She was disgusted with herself for being so.. so ridiculous and it was unfair; unfair for him to have to deal with her complete lack of control. With great effort, she swallowed her tears (even though she couldn't force the pout off her lip) and drawing her sleeve across her face, she wiped away the moisture. She twisted a stray hair out of her eyes and did her best to portray a look of confidence. She couldn't lose it now. Over the years she had somehow managed to hold it all in, emotions were dangerous. She sniffed, ashamed of herself. She needed to be strong, for once. It would take all of them, working together if they were going to make it out of here alive.Without a word, she stood and paced casting a calculating look around. Then she saw it, a wooden broom peeking out from behind a panel in the wall. She marched over to it and bringing it down on her raised knee, managed to break the head off with a relative grace. A weapon. A second miracle: she spun it over her hand and tucked it under her arm as she faced the others.Traitorous tears crept up into her eyes. "I'm sorry." She nodded in Micheal's direction in particular, "I lost sight for a moment and," she breathed, "I'm sorry. "We should leave though, together." She added, almost as a after thought and losing all her false confidence she smiled sheepishly "I mean if you don't think I'm totally insane now..." She looked at the floor realizing how much she had been talking. Yup, definitely insane.//OoC//Ash: *Pouty face* Why can't I be cool like Michael or smart like Aya or funny like Lys or... like Rina...? I'm just a cotton headed ninny muggings! Haha! 😊

@tillypup @mila_titan @skittlejg @fluffy Sorry, I've had writers black for a while.River looked at the girl just up the hall. "River." She said slowly, her voice hoarse and cracking. "You weren't there a second ago." She said the water serpent forming a bubble around her. "But then again," she began, her voice stronger yet murmured by the water. "We're all strange here. I mean I now have gills but still." Shaking her head River let ehr body relax and was soon floating in the bubble as it moved closer to Andrea.

@tillypup Rina is Rina though x'D @featherstar_stormclan @mila_titan @skittlejg @fluffyI've a bit catching up to do, but i'm lazy so I'll just make a halfarsed post. >.>-Rok was soon straightened in a sitting position, balancing back on his hands while he looked around for the healing girl. It wasn't all that hard to find her by following the sound of insane laughter laced with sobs. He wasn't all that sure what the sudden change of emotions meant, what with being slightly uninformed on the entire human feelings situation. The concept of comfort was unknown to him, but he could recall the calming effect a warm palm on his skin had had. Before trotting over, he took a second to nudge the other curious canine lightly and playfully bite at her ear.Still, by the time his happy go lucky play had ended, another person, a male to be precise, had already taken the liberty of trying to calm the girls down. And Rok had nothing against him, really... But he smelled of fire and acid and he himself reeked of the same thing, the wound previously embedded on his chest had given off the scent. He growled, quietly, scurrying away from the male with a snarl etched on his face. He didn't like him... Not at all. And while he wasn't going to prevent him from comforting the females, he simply disliked being in his company.Turning around, the trotted off in the direction of the most oil-free scent, which happened to be a brihtly lit hallway.

@mila_titan@fluffy@moomuffins@skittlejg@jupiter_hollow Rina shook herself in her dog form. She had mimicked her own dog from a vague memory that the men with the cold eyes did not, could not steal. Rina watched as the wolf trotted down the oil free way. The bad way. The way where the worst of all the cold eyed men stayed. Rina remembered going that way where the men asked questions. Rina must warn him! Rina chased after the wolf, whimpering.
cirrus • 28 January 2014 at 6:25 PM
@jupiter_hollow From your post, I got this idea that Michael and Rok would like, compete to be the "Alpha Wolf". Because Michael likes to be in charge, and it's clear Rok doesn't really like him. @fluffy @mila_titan @moomuffins @spiritkoi___What Ash said reminded Michael, they need to go. "I don't know if you guys want to come or not, but we need to go. We've been extremely lucky to stay here as long as we did, but as soon as the guards can hunt down all the other escapees, they're gonna come for us."Michael suddenly noticed that Rina had gone bounding down the hall, running after the wolf-man. "What are you," Michael started, but there was no use. Spotting a security camera in the corner of the room, Michael zapped it with a plasma bolt. It sparked from the electricity and started to sink down, misshapen from the heat.
jupiter_hollow • 28 January 2014 at 7:12 PM
@skittlejg Not really... Dude, you misinterpreted Rok's personality and... everything, in all truth. xD He's confused and he's young. In a group of people capable of speaking, walking properly and communicating between each other more effectively, he would feel himself inferior. And if it meant being in their 'pack' then he wouldn't mind being an omega even. Wolves are a social animals, which implies that each belongs to a family or in this case, a group. A group, a pack is what he seeks for. Not a pack to control, but a pack to belong to. You cannot deduct that Rok will try to establish himself as an alpha from the fact that his animal's species form packs with a leader. He simply doesn't like Michael as the leader. And it's hard for him to trust just yet so seeing a person that he doesn't like, who /hurt/ him slowly establishing himself as the alpha doesn't mean Rok left because he wants to be the alpha. It's illogical either ways. He left because he dislikes the current alpha. He wouldn't attempt to replace or inferiorate the present leader -- he would just distance himself and search for other people. He just wants to belong to someone he trusts and loves, honey. Don't misinterpret. :')@spitirkoi I pinged the wrong person for Rina, love ^^" Sorry about that! @fluffy @mila_titan @moomuffins-He followed his nose, ignoring all other senses. Truly, the air was less sterile in this direction and the smokescreen scent cleared up with every meter. Another array of smells, generally unknown to him, filled his lungs -- these were nicer, more bearable than the stench a month's worth of rotting food and unwashed rooms gave out. the prominent heat and stuffiness made way for a light coolness and as he turned the corner, he felt a light breeze. He thought of looking back, but following his hypothesis was probably his best option. And while his intuition was definitely doubtful, what with being based solely on a smell, he just didn't want to go back.Perhaps he was making an excuse to rip himself from the crowd and not be a conformist, but he doubted someone would bother judging him, now that he was a dozen meters away. The human in him noted thoughtfully -- the females were in need of a strong, competent male and he himself was definitely unfitting of the title. They slightly confused him as well... so perhaps leaving and relieving the group of his generally useless presence would be in everyone's best interest. As if on queue, he noticed the other shapeshifter trotting after him. Rok paused, tilting his head to the side in confusion, but waited until she was leveled with him nevertheless. He whined in question, nudging her slightly.

@tillypup @jupiter_hollow @skittlejgRiver shrugged ehr shoulders. "We should go find that out." She said flipping her body upside down her hair floating over her head as she bobbed upside down in the water. "Let's go!" She called out rolling out of her bubble and forming it into a water serpent again.River slid water under her feet and used it as shoe like things to help with her walking. As she reached the end of hte hall-way she stopped and waited for Andrea.

@mila_titan@fluffy@moomuffins@skittlejg@jupiter_hollow Rina decided her thoughts on this way was wrong. All these hallways looked the same to Rina. Her senses were wrong. The wolf knew where he was going. Rina's loosing it, she thought to herself. Yet she couldn't lose the prickly feeling of wrongness. Rina answered back with a slight tug on his ear. Rina would follow him. This way does smell cleaner though.. ~I got homework so... ya.

@mila_titan - lol Lys thanks you, she doesn't really consider herself likable 😋 I think Ash is gonna be the one Lys hangs around and is clingy to for awhile, until she finds herself.@moomuffins - I've got a question, so your charrie for said that Aya looked like she was 27 but she's actually 18 but everyone says that she looks like a child... so clarify this for me please? For accurate descriptions at least.@Jupiter_hollow @skittlejg @spiritkoi sorry I haven't really been posting. School's been getting a lot tougher now that we're actually into the semester. Urgh.--//IC//Ash had stopped laughing, Lys believed it was time to stop laughing as well. The hilarity of the situation had been sparse, and the reason for laughter even sparser. Now that her brief period of insanity was over, she noticed her surroundings with more clarity. The gray walls didn't seem to be closing on aorund her anymore, they were stationary and innocuous. Fire-disc throwing boy, Michael, was less intimidating now that she could see his features clearly. Wolf-boy reminded her more and more of someone she perhaps knew before, but he seemed friendly enough. There was another girl, holding the stuffed animal she had tried to snatch before. This girl was Aya. She had an other-worldly appearance, it seemed that she could see past Lys' physical existence and into something deeper. Aya's gaze unsettled Lys. She didn't like other people peering into her soul. She saw Ash holding a broom and twirling it expertly and suddenly Lys felt unsure of what to do. She had no weapon, besides her mind, and nothing else to contribute to the group. Ash and Michael were thinking of escape strategies while Wolf boy and another lupine creature were heading towards another direction."What are we going to do?" she asked the group.

@fluffy Ash: I've got a buddy then? Yeah! *Forces Lys into a big hug* I've always wanted a buddy! @Jupiter_hollow @tillypup @skittlejg @spiritkoi//IC//As Michael addressed the group, Ashlin continued to swirl her broomstick around her fingers, amazed at how long she was able to maintain its precarious position as it danced over her hands. The action was smooth and even and Ash even found herself humming a tuneless song to the beat of the wood connecting with her palm as it turn over and over. Then a sudden pulse of light as another ball of the blond boy's - "no, his name is Michael" she reminded herself - flames shot out, melting a nearby security camera. Catching the broom at the last minute, she shot a glare at him for startling her. It occurred to her that he hadn't seen. She traced his gaze to the wolf boy and the shape shifter as they took off down the hall to who knows where. "What are we going to do?" A voice asked and Ash realized that it was directed to her and Michael. She turned, unsure. This whole escape seemed confused and although she had been dreaming about getting out since she got here, Ash admittedly had no plan. She had always imagined that it would all just happen; Someone would rescue them, take out all the bad guys, find her parents and then get her home all in one blissful sweep of time. But that wasn't reality. She knew that they would have to do that all themselves."I guess we go after them." She pointed down the hall "I-I mean there aren't very many of us and we could use all the help we can get. Besides, I don't think that we've been down that way yet, have we?" And who knew, that could very well be a way out.

@jupiter_hollow @fluffy @mila_titan @moomuffins @spiritkoi__________Michael listened to Ash and thought, 'I guess there has to be some reason they're going that way. Instincts or some animal thing I don't know about.'"Okay, let's go," Michael said reluctantly. His hands lit up with plasma and he created a force field disk hovering in front of him. Stepping up, Michael raced forward, following the dog and wolf as they went down the hall.

@skittlejg @fluffy @mila_titan @moomuffins @spiritkoi-Playfully tugging his ear away from Rina's bite-y mouth, Rok let out a faint giggle. Initially, the canine had been distrustful of his choice of direction, but he felt her ease into the situation and nudged her back with his head, nosing along the fur of her neck. She was an ally, he mused, and a strong one, so he simply wanted to memorize the scent which meant 'friend' so he could actively distinguish it amongst other smells. And there were many...A pair of familiar fragrances and one that he recognized and immediately associated with 'bad', 'pain' and, ultimately, 'dominant'.Lowering his head timidly, he looked back towards the source of smells and spotted the small group advancing towards them, having chosen to follow. He noticed the boy first, recoiling in revulsion and narrowing his eyes warily, eyebrows set. Another rumble was emitted from his throat, this one more tame and controlled than the roar that bubbled in his chest upon sensing the guards. But, while this teen wasn't as much of an enemy as the guards, he was just as dangerous, and that, more than anything, made Rok bustle with unease. He lowered his crouched body further towards the ground, standing on all fours and readied himself to trot ahead, when the females also emerged from around the corner, making him stop short. They were kind, Rok remembered. Despite being associated with /him/, they were kind...He stepped backwards, pondering on what to do, but shortly chose the more convenient solution and distanced himself from them, hurrying ahead, while still keeping tabs on whether they were following or not.

@jupiter_hollow @fluffy @mila_titan @moomuffins @spiritkoi___On his plasma disk, Michael flew after the wolf and Rina. Michael noticed that the wolf boy kept looking back and wouldn't let him get too close. He sped through the hallways, barely turning corners in time and keeping an eye out for guards. And then he saw it. The door of freedom. The door to the Blackoak Asylum Research Center. Sure, there was still a long ways to go, but in several hours they escaped the Asylum. Who knows where they could be tomorrow.Michael sped up, going so fast that he passed the two dogs, and fell on his face. And as he fell, he saw them. 20 guards, at least, being led by two huge dogs bigger than the wolf-boy. Their yellow eyes glowed as they sped forward, and the guards started shooting at them. This time, it wasn't bullets. As Michael tumbled backwards, the guards came around the corner, blocking the door that was so close, shooting small pellets of liquid. Michael didn't know what was in them, and didn't want to.He stood up and created his shield of plasma. Blocking the pellets from the guards, he shot plasma at the guards. One after another fell. He stayed close to the wall. If he could just take out the one's next to the wall, he could break up their group. As he killed one, it seemed another came and kept shooting. And he had forgot about the dogs. Suddenly, a large dog with twisted teeth like screws jumped at him. He almost thought it was the wolf boy, but it wasn't. The beasts overgrown claws ripped at Michael's chest, and he screamed as his shield dissipated and a pellet splashed onto his shoulder. Acid rippled across his arms and splashed onto his face. With his hand, he grabbed the dogs throat as it clawed his arms, and burned it's neck until it was just bone. Creating a shield, he barreled through the guards on the left hand side of the wall, more acid splashing against him. He could feel the shield jabbing into the stomachs of the guards in front of him. Blindly, he threw balls of plasma at the guards. /This must be what it feels like to get hit with plasma/ Michael thought as a fourth pellet splashed across his leg and he stumbled towards the door to the BSRC. He opened it and looked back. They'd fight through without him, they'd have to. His legs gave out, both arms and his right leg had been burned with the acid, not to mention the drops that had splashed across his face, back, and chest. The hallway in front of him was littered with guards. Blood splashed against walls in a frightening work of art. /What!? How could this have happened?/ It was his last though before his vision was clouded with darkness.

@mila_titan@fluffy@moomuffins@skittlejg Wait, Michael has FUR!?!?@jupiter_hollow A blur pasted her from behind. It was the other guy. Rina still has a bad feeling, Rina said to herself. She felt as if THEY would come. As if the thought summoned them, 20 guards came barreling in with dogs. Large dogs. Rina don't turn into a mouse, don't turn into a mouse, she thought. Not the best train of thoughts in this kind of a situation, Rina. Then the magical death fire blasting guy confronted the guards. Rina began to back away only to have one of the dogs intercept her. Oh, poop, Rina's in trouble now...~Sorry, gotta do homework and sleep...

@spiritkoi @skittlejg @Jupiter_hollow @fluffy @moomuffins Sorry that I wasn't able to get on egg cave much this week; there is only a week and a half until our play goes into the theatre! So excited!Feet pounding the floor, Ash grumbled. Michael had left her behind and had taken off down the hall without her atop his glowing disk. Her breath came fast and ragged and she realized how truly out of shape she had become in that cell. The small quarters had not really allowed her much room for working out and truthfully most days she spent seated in the corner, facing the wall.Hands on her knees, she stopped for a short pause and looking back realized how short a distance she had ran. She sighed and took off again. Then, turning the corner, she immediately caught sight of the unmistakable blond hair. She was about to scold his then she noticed what was happening. The luck that had appeared to have been favoring them had taken its leave and sure as she knew they would, the guards had come back. Ash shivered gripping the broom stick hard in her hand. The small movement seemed to have betrayed her as a guard came barreling towards her. "Here little freak!" He mocked. She had no clue what she was doing but held out the stick straight in front of her. The guard collided with it, the momentum winding him and knocking Ash to the floor. She scrambled for the staff and regained her standing position. She cut through the air, raising her makeshift weapon over her head and bring it down on the guards skull. The end of the stick shattered off and the guard collapsed to the floor."Freak." She spat. Then watched as a few guards approached her.OoCAsh: Mila, you're making me so mean... Me: I know Isn't it great? >😊 Mwahaha! (Now I'm talking to myself. I really need some sleep.)

@mila_titan @spiritkoi @skittlejg @fluffy @moomuffins-The attack hadn't even been a surprise. He had to take some time to realize everything that was going on but as soon as he did, Rok incoporated himself fully into the fight. He pounced, ripped, clawed. Even though he wasn't even shifted, his clawed hand and his upper body strength aided him greatly in the struggle. That was, until the harmful pelletes were hauled at them. He didn't even know what hit him, literally. The small devices were completely unfamiliar to him, but he was intelligent enough to guess they were extremely harmful. Therefore, when he noticed the particularly powerful and unlikeable boy fall short in his attempt to fend the guards off, Rok brought himself to rush forward and attack the men currently trying to take his motionless body. Dead or not, the alpha was valuable to his pack and Rok did care about said pack. Perhaps letting him die would be a big loss and despite disliking the boy, he didn't want to let the other nice pack members take the blow. So, instead, he did.Quite literally, at that. His generally thicker skin took to the pelletes better than any normal human and his senses, now dulled by adrenaline, registered only half the pain, all of which enabled him to actively continued even after being attacked by the harmful devices. In his frenzy of scratching and biting, he found himself faced with the barrel of a rifle, metal firmly placed to his temple with the sound of the rattling trigger ready to be pulled. The booming of a gun reached his ears and he flinched, waiting for impending darkness, though the only thing he did see was a body falling motionless beside him. The guard's forehead was marked with a crimson red dot, where the bullet had entered his skull.Eyes wide, the wolf turned around and stared at the source of his salvation. The figure was dark, cloaked, looming above every single person in the room -- the Adonis posture was only enhanced by the large caliber machine gun poised in his hands, all but mauling the standing guards.

@moomuffins @mila_titan @skittlejg @jupiter_hollow @tillypup--Lys was done with hysteria, she closed her eyes and let her brain memorize the situation. She sifted through memories, forgetting the ones she didn't need at the moment and bringing forth the ones she did. Her muscles tingled and she forced herself to stretch. Body shaking with effort, she finally managed to touch her toes. Ash and Michael had run forward after wolf-boy and the mouse girl. Lys didn't know where Aya was anymore. The girl seemed to appear and disappear on a whim. She extended her hearing until she could hear down the hall. Sounds of fighting and splashing acid reached her ears. She wanted to run. Oh, all she wanted to do was to flee. But to where? She would have to be brave this time. So instead of sprinting towards the fighting sounds (or away from them), she walked calmly towards the scene.Memories of fights ran through her head. She remembered how to speak German and Italian and French and Chinese, bits of Japanese also flowed back. She thought about the different fighting styles she could utilize, the different maps that were imprinted within her head and how she could help everyone escape. All she would need was information. With information, she could do anything. Breaking into a brisk jog, she controlled her lungs, expanding them further so she could absorb more oxygen. She dulled the pain. She numbed herself for the inevitable.Because inside, she knew she was useless. When she rounded the corner, her heart sank.--Basically like a nothing post, but I guess I'm just waiting for your action 😋

Ash took down two more guards in the same manner as the first but as another, much larger then the first rushed at her, Ash knew that all the luck she had had up to this point was quickly running out. Her muscles throbbed and ached.Brandishing a large gun of sorts the man slowed his pace, strolling up to her, grinning. Trapped, heart racing, Ash gazed desperately about. The girl from earlier appeared around the corner nearby. Ash's mind struggled desperately for a name. The man grew closer. Coming up blank she did the only thing she could think of: she swung out with the staff as hard as she could manage then ran towards the girl. Something grabbed her by the wrist and pulled, hard. She fell backwards, dropping her staff a few feet away. "Alright, freak." The guard yanked her up, "You want to play around?"She gasped as he twisted her around, forcing her arm behind her back. "I'll let you in on a secret: I always win." The last words were whispered into her ear. Then there was laughter as he flicked his wrist and a pocket knife appeared as if by magic. And a cut was drawn down the back of her shoulder.

@jupiter_hollow @fluffy @mila_titan @moomuffins @spiritkoi______The tall man sat in his office. He rapidly answered the call his phone had delivered. "Yes," he spoke with a dark, scratchy voice, but at the same time his voice seemed to flow out naturally."This is not good," a man on the other side of the phone announced."It's under control.""You've lost seventy-five guards so far, and the day isn't over.""You clearly have no concept of just how many I have," the man said, feeling pride and power swell up like a balloon in his chest."You clearly have no idea how powerful these people are," the man on the other side of the phone said, partially mocking him. "You need to initiate step two.""Don't be foolish. It's not that urgent yet.""No listen, you don't be foolish. I'll have your head for saying that!" It took him a few seconds to regain his composure. "If you wait until it is that urgent, it will be too late.""I know how to handle it. These are my prisoners. I've studied them for years. I know them just as well as they know themselves.""And I know he's back."The man's eyes narrowed and his voice dropped, "Who told you?"No response."Well, you don't have to worry about him.""If he can escape once, he can escape twice. And this time, he has help.""What?" the doctor said, his eyes widening in fear."Well maybe if you could keep track of your own scientists, you'd know number 538 is a traitor!" the man screamed. "I'm coming over there if you can't keep everything under control.""Oh no," his eyes widened even more. His mouth dropped open in a scared, shocked way. "I can control my prisoners! I don't need your help. I don't need the agency's help. I'm perfectly capable of fixing this on my own.""No. No you are not. I want to see this breakout squashed in the next few days, or I will have to stop it myself. Do I make myself clear?""Yes."The man on the other side of the phone hung up. The doctor looked at the black screens throughout the room and held down the intercom button. "Status report?""Provision 1.8 and 1.9 initiated, sir.""PoC level?""Low, sir.""When should we initiate provision 2.0?""Possibly this evening, sir."The doctor grinned. "Yes, tonight."

@skittlejg @mila_titan @jupiter_hollow @tillypup @spiritkoi-- guess who just got moderated...--Lys gasped, Ash was in trouble. Her muscles throbbed, wanting to put her knowledge to use, they wanted to try to fight. She had remained passive for so long that the only feeling she had was one of indecisiveness. But her friend needed help, and if she couldn't help her now, there was no guarantee, or even a slim chance that anyone would help her. Michael was occupied, pellets of acid were flying towards him as he raised his fire shields in paltry defiance. It's useless. She wanted to scream at them, to get them to surrender. But what would be the use of that? Her life was changed either way, she couldn't revert back to her more or less comfortable existence, if it could be considered an existence at all.She pressured her fear into disappearing, and launched herself at Ash's assaulter. A punch flew at her, her brain automatically took the reins and fired a synapse to dodge. Too slow, the punch connected with her arm. However, her reaction had at least prevented her head from being hit. Even in her adrenaline fueled state, Lys knew she always had to protect her head, it was her greatest asset and all she could really offer.Kick.Her left leg snaked out and caught the man on the kneecap. Go for the nose and the privates, the voice in her head was telling her. She jammed her palm into the man's face, hoping she had hit his nose. A crunching sound told her that she did.Lys attempted to lift a knee in order to continue attack the man, despite her fighting, he didn't seem bothered.
