Gender: F
Age: 17

Personality: She's passive, way too passive. Does almost anything other people want her to. She just can't say no. Lys speaks like a broken record most of the time, she hardly ever has her own ideas. She simply tags along with other people. However, she's not stupid, her arithmetic skills are impressive and she has a photographic memory. Unfortunately, her application skills are a bit off so she's just like a calculator that can talk. Also fiercely loyal to her friends. Supports them in every way. Because of her power she isn't easily brainwashed but because of her lack of application skills, she ends up forming illogical opinions. A little bit deranged because she can remember all parts of her torture. Her mother was the first part of her "creepy loyalty" and she follows almost all of her mother's original advice blindly (kinda like Lys imprinted on her?)

Appearance: blonde hair that would be pretty if it was clean, watery blue eyes from lack of proper nutrition. A bit jaundicy. Big boned, but skinny now because of starvation

Main Power: complete mental awareness
(may need a little explanation - she uses all parts of her brain fully and completely so she remembers everything she experiences with her sense, she can control her own mind, make herself think whatever she wants herself to think therefore fully control her own actions, can also force herself to forget and remember, it's a little paradoxical)

Sample Paragraph:
A van cruised slowly past her as she walked back home from school. As she approached her townhouse, the window rolled down. A friendly looking woman smiled at her, dimples forming where her lips ended, and asked her if she wanted ice cream. Lys didn't really need ice cream but her mother had told her it was rude to say no to people who are obviously trying to be nice. A little thought came up in the back of her mind, 'don't trust this woman. She's no good.' But she remembered her mother's words, 'Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Be polite and courteous to whoever talks to you, no matter who they are.'
Lys walked towards the woman offering ice cream and asked her where they would be going. The woman looked surprised for a moment and muttered something under her breath. Lys recalled that she had said, 'it's exactly as easy as he said.'
The woman had told her the place and Lys numbly got into the van. Hands suddenly reached forward and slipped a bag over her head. Lys didn't scream. Her mother had said it was rude to make loud noises in front of strangers.
And so she sat passively as she waited to get ice cream.

@skittlejg - well when you put it that waaayyy, no she doesn't 😊 However, I would prefer that she remembers the part of her being taken. She may not remember her past life but her mother's advice is a huge part of what her character is like now. I don't mind having a glitch in her power so she can't remember EVERYTHING. It would be nice as the roleplay develops if she could work using her power to learn more about herself.

@jupiter_hollow - that's what I was thinking as well. I conjured up this picture of Ragnar helping Lys back in the day just once, a momentary encounter of some kind.

Name: Aya Blackwell
Gender: Female
Age: Looks 27, but is 18 years old

Personality: Aya is highly curious and has a high school level education in some subjects. She is clever by going on her guesses but her intelligence is something she isn't praised for. All though that's what she shows.

Having an outward and 'in your face' curiosity to the world around her. She takes child-like pleasure in learning new things and meeting new people. She sometimes acts like a child at heart, taking a child's mind set to an adult problem. Aya is a highly sensual and affectionate girl. She enjoys hugs and being around others as well as being warm or hot and hates being alone. Aya has a fetish for stealing things that she likes and hording it for herself.

Aya is the pure definition of the term 'Curiosity killed the cat' her curiosity could lead her beyond what she is supposed to do and often gets into big trouble because of this. She is a brilliantly insane women, and often gets herself out of trouble if needed. Spunky, random, and often flaunt what she steals to others. She loves animals and is willing to hug whatever she finds 'animal like'. Aya is a fast learner, but she often makes mistakes. It doesn’t stop her though; from getting back up again. Aya is accident prone and often bumps into things. She is also very short tempered when not being treated equally, and often doesn’t take much for her to be angry at you.

Appearance: Aya is 5 feet tall and 4 inches with a curvy build. She isn't built for strength and doesn't show that much muscle mass on her body. She looks frail, almost fragile but looks can often be deceiving. She has a light under tone of muscle mass which is used to carry things slightly heavier then her. Aya has lightly tan skin, that looks slightly pale with dark brown freckles on her cheek due to the time spent inside. She also has ice blue, almost white eyes with no pupils due to her being blind. This young women also has long straight auburn hair with curly points that this combed nicely with her fingers. This hair has bangs that covers her right eye in a curl and reaches all the way down to her elbows with the points curving back inward to her body. She usually wears a velvet gown and a red rose clipping on her left side, which keeps her bangs on the right side of her face as well as velvet shoes.

Description- To see beyond what a normal person is able to see. Aya may be blind on physical terms but she is able to see spirits, sense their presence and is able to speak to them.

Description- In order to make up for not being able to see physical objects(such as doors, chairs and walls...etc.). She has adapted to use echo location to find out where she is going and what is in front of her like the way a bat does. By clicking or making nosies, she is able to hear where the sound is coming from and what is in the room. She can also has very high touching sense as a result as well. She is able to feel the slightest touch- it helps when sensing spirits as well.

Aya also has brought with her; her favorite doll. Which is a black and white spotted dog with a red bandanna on it's neck. She refers to the stuffed animal as 'Delta' and she states it often tells her to hold him. Often forcefully. Delta is used as a way for the spirits to communicate to her more effectively.

"It's sad to see the heiress become like this..."

"Like what? Rotting in a cell with others like her? You have to understand is what's best for her well being. The master and mistress stated so. "

"Well being? A blind women does not need isolation! That's the reason why she went mad in the first place! She had no friends, her family hardily paid attention to her, all the tutors she had studied her to the bone and she was always alone! She needed caring and love, she didn't get it from them- so she made some friends of her own. Nothing wrong with that- she has not grown mentally."

"I understand it seems inhumane but it is for her own good. Besides, they can have other children. I'm glad that stuffed animal of hers is gone..."

'Hold me...'

"Oh really? Why?"

'Hold me. Hold me. Hold me now.'

"I don't know why- but I always feel like it's watching. As if it was possessed like it's watching..."

"Bah- pish posh you're fine! Maybe you should be thrown inside that asylum instead of her."

All though it was all true. In the blank darkness sat down one feminine silhouette. Looking over to the side sat a patched up, roughed up and over used stuffed animal with a red bandanna around it's neck. "But Delta...I'm tired. Let me sleep." She slurred as she went to her bed, curling up. It was dark outside, about midnight. It was time for her to sleep, but the possessed toy doesn't seem to be letting her sleep.

'I wanna hold you. Never be lonely with me by your side. I know that you want me. I got a thing to make it all go away...'

"No. You're nothing but a figment of my imagination! The doctor said so! Now let me sleep...I don't feel like going to wonderland right now."

'Wake up Aya...wake up and hold me like how you used to...'

Aya groaned softly and threw her pillow at him, but missing miserably. "Shut up, Delta." She barked at the doll as she curled up for sleep once more. She seemingly woke up within a forest. All too familiar to her child like imagination. Creatures of large and all come from the bushes. Looking to pluck the little lark of her wings!

Oh little lark, open your eyes, the attackers have came! Aya began to run through the bushes as these predators came after her. In cloaks of white and weapons sharp. Run little lark, run, for the attackers have come for your wings! Open your eyes! The lark ran through paints riddled with age and pots oh so fragile to break. Run little lark for they'll pluck your feathers off!

Oh no little lark! The attackers had left something. A little poke you felt, and down you go! Down you go little lark! They'll pluck off your head and then your wings. Little skylark, lovely little skylark. Off your head! Off your head! Off your wings! Off your wings! And off you go! Off you go! To a world where you don't belong. A little cage for the little lark! Lovely little lark! Off you go! Off you go! To a world where you don't belong.

Is Aya able to see the spirits of living people? And if so, do they vary in shape and color? =P Because I'm pretty sure Roks aura would be more animal-like, but also with humanlike qualities - in short, a mix of the two. It all really depends on whether she can distinguish animals from humans though. xD

Yes she is actually. X3 It's all part of the echo location and her main power. She can distinguish animals from people but she can't distinguish between walls and doors. XD She bumps into things all the time.
