I was thinking about making a Forum topic about Pottermore so users who are active on there could get together and chat about all of the different things and about the interactive storylines and about Harry Potter in general. I searched for any topics about Pottermore and found several, but they were all made in 2012 and earlier. It seemed like users weren't posting in any of them anymore. I was just wondering if there was a set "age" for forum topics until they become obselete? Or rather, when is it appropriate to post a new topic about the same subject even though there are previous topics about the same subject? If that made sense. I just want to know if it is okay for me to create a new topic about Pottermore even though there are several topics already posted.

@arcadiafire After checking the topics myself, I would say that all of them have been dead long enough (over a year of inactivity) that creating a new topic about that site would be fine.If a topic has been inactive for well over a year then it is ok to create a topic that is similar in nature.
