He was getting cold, and still he couldn't smell any prey. If he found anything, he was NOT sharing. Faust's mood was slowing getting worse. Until he caught the scent of a squirrel. Crouching low, he looked in the direction of the scent and saw a surprisingly plump little animal occupied with it's own meal./That thing is going down if it's the last thing I do./ Faust thought. He was close, so he knew a short sprint and a leap were all he needed to catch it. With that in mind, his muscles bunched and then he nearly flew across the wet ground and with the predicted leap he caught the squirrel by the neck as it tried to escape. He slid to a stop, pleased with his catch. However, it didn't last. Faust then caught the scent of a she-cat that had been in the Cave of Light and dog./This isn't good./ He thought and tucked the squirrel away, oddly compelled to go toward the scents as opposed to running away.

@poe@sorenfliesthroughstorms @starling@featherstar_stormclanClover looked up to face an old pine tree that stood in the darkness. It was crooked to the left but strong as steel. It's hollow, mysteriously carved a shape of a two-legged eye. She stared into it's eyes, carefully observing the sounds...~The scent of the dog was getting closer, Midnight still uncertain where it may leap. Rather that turning around and back away, she got closer. When she finally saw the dog's terrible face, she leaped on it, beating it down with her paws and making deep cuts with her jaws. The dog jumped back and started to give her a sign. At that moment, Midnight realized that she wasn't afraid of the fierce dog, she just wanted to kill it. Then, she smelt a scent of a Tom cat creeping forward...~In Sky's dream...* Sky was in a world, where the two-legs have left but not in peace, but in horror. The cats started dying one by one and the more the cats hunt, the more predators lurk. They all died out but her...* Sky felt a tickle in her stomach, then her paws. It wasn't one of the other cats, nor a prey, but it was little Tiger who wandered out from the litter and ended up on sky's side...

Curiously, Faust watched the she-cat from the cave attack the dog he'd caught the smell of. The dog was now backing away, clearly thinking better of it's plan for it's next meal. But he could see that the cat was still looking for a fight./How strange./ Faust thought. /What would be the point of forcing a fight? She's only risking injury now./Faust quickly walked out of the bushes and hissed at the dog, getting it to turn and leave faster. He stepped between the cat and where the dog took off and sighed."There's no reason for you to pursue a fight here. With all of us cats struggling to survive now, we don't need to get into more scrapes than absolutely necessary." He rationalized.-------Ivan wondered if the rest of the lazy cats in the Cave of Light were going to look for food. He didn't think Tall looked like the kind of cat to hunt for others that didn't pull their weight.@starling @cougar@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan

This one was covered in large stalactites and had a rather small hole in the roof in which rain drops poured through, the hail less this far from the storm. "Please, spirits guide me in sleep, those kits are something else. Different from what should be. I need help, tell me what they are." I whispered to a rather large puddle forming under hte hole. I dropped my muzzle into it and fell into sleep.{Silence}I walked over to the cats Fluffy and Windspeaker. "I'm not sure if you guys heard but, you're supposed to be hunting for all of us. I think River and her kits would appreciate it to have some extra prey." I meowed coldly. "I recommend you do that, because Tall is pretty much the boss here so I'd be careful and try to do as she says."{Viper}I pulled my eyes open stumbling out of my mother's nest and rolling onto stone floor. I noticed a small puddle near the nest and reached out prodding it with a paw watching my reflection rippling. For a split second it seemed my reflection was replaced by a snake.

Ivan got up and started pacing. He wasn't much the sitting around type, either./Hopefully more cats return to the Cave of Light. I don't want to leave in case I'm needed, but when I'm waiting, I feel so restless./ Ivan was funny that way. If the weather kept him, he couldn't seem to sit still.----The little ginger yawned and blinked his eyes open for the first time. Being young, his sight wasn't fully developed, he couldn't see his surroundings perfectly. Not that it mattered to such a young kit. He was curled up next to his mother and he looked at the other kit prodding the ground where it rippled@starling @cougar@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclanOhhhh and the plot thickens! Also, don't kittens take a while before they open their eyes? Details. Lol

@poe not really, I've raised many a litter of kits in my childhood and some open their eyes before a week. It's rare but it happens.@sorenfliesthroughstorms Tall left while Fluffy was sleeping. Fluffy couldn't have followed her, please edit your post. It is being ignored.@starling@cougar{Tall}As I fell into a sleep, it seemed the world around me tumbled. After a few heartbeats, I landed in a clearing, the cats around me seeming to shimmer."Welcome back." They meowed. "Your prayer was heard, but that is beyond answer. But we can tell you that, in order to sooth the storm the three must unlock their inner spirit.""Thank you." I murmured dipping my head as the world around me shimmered and disappeared.{Silence}I walked over to the tunnel where I last saw Tall. /I'll let her be in peace.\ I thought sitting just in-front of the entrance keeping cats from entering it.{Viper}I rolled back at the snake in hte water and tumbled into the paws of a pacing cat.{River}I sighed as my kits started to wander around and open their eyes. I stood up leaving the one kit still there and walking over to the silver one I smiled weakly at Ivan. "Sorry." I meowed.

@featherstar_stormclan @sorenfliesthroughstorms @poe 'Oh yes, sorry Ivan' Sky meowed as she turned to Tiger, who was still by her side. 'Go back to River, little one.' She meowed as she picked Tiger up with her mouth and placed her on River's nest. ---Tiger looked up at the roof of the Cave, licking her fur. She was a loving one, though, very rude. She looked over to Sky, who just put her near Viper. Tiger seemed to like Sky, for some reason, her fur ? Her personality ? The warm coat ? The cats don't know exactly. She followed Sky as she left the Cave and took a stroll under the grass.---Midnight shook her head. 'I understand and respect your suggestion but there is no point in backing away. He'll probably come back but he'll stay away from us by then' Midnight smiled, trying to sharpen her claws. ---Clover was still looking into the eyes of the hollow, hypnotizing her. She shook her head and turned around, no prey was there. She looked inside the hollow as three little mice gathered in the hollow. What they didn't realize is the eyes of the hollow is just a big lie...

Ivan stared at the kit at his feet a moment, then meowed good-naturedly, "It's fine, River." He very gently nudged the kit at his paws and mewed, "Go back to River."----As soon as the dog had taken off and Faust had spoken, he turned and started walking away. Prey was scarce, so he wanted to collect his squirrel and head back before some other animal stole it. He didn't need the opinions of other cats; he didn't so much as acknowledge the she-cat meowing at him as he left.----Weasel was not pleased that his mother had gotten up. He began mewing pitifully over it.@starling @cougar@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclanKeeewl. 😸

@featherstar_stormclan Reread my post about her dream. You'll see these words. "Fluffy woke up." That post is before your post about Tall going to the cave so Fluffy could have followed.

@sorenfliesthroughstormsI hate to say it, but @featherstar_stormclan is right. Tall left the Cave of Light in post 118, and Fluffy is sleeping then moves nests and falls back asleep and doesn't wake up until post 124. So she wouldn't have followed Tall out of the cave when Tall was leaving.

@poe Thank you.@sorenfliesthroughstorms Like Poe said, and after she pulled Fluffy out of her nest Tall left and entered the tunnel leading to her cave she entered as Fluffy woke up so the cat could have not been there. So, edit your post please.@cougar@starling{Tall}I sigh, as the world around me started shimmering into view, but not before I hear a small voice. "When all seems lost to you, look for the silent."I look around for the source but see nothing. Only hearing the steady drip of water.{Viper}I shook my head as my mum placed me in our nest. The vision of hte snake stayed in my mind and just floated there never leaving. /Would they understand?\ I thought looking at my two siblings. I jumped back rolling into River as I noticed Tiger."What?" I whispered as my mum started dozing. Tiger as she had been a few moments ago now seemed to radiate some force. Some aura seemed to glow around her and it was that of a rather large striped cat.{Viper and the other kits start having visions of the animals the kits are named after on the other kits or in reflections. They don't know it affects them yet.}

Faust arrived back in the Cave of Light, having found a scrawny mouse to add to his catch of the day. He dropped the plump squirrel next to River's nest for when she awoke. Once he made it back to his own nest, he slowly picked away at the tiny mouse he'd caught.

{Viper}I sighed rolling over nad closing my eyes trying to figure out what the cat nad snake had meant.{Silence}I left the tunnel and headed out onto the moor the hail still pouring down, but it had lessened. I part my jaws and scent rabbit. /It would be nice to find one of those.\ I thought happily following the scent. I walked over a crest adn saw a rather large brown rabbit nibbling on grass stalks. I gave chase and took it down after chasing it deep into the forest.@poe @cougar @sorenfliesthroughstroms @starling

Weasel crept over to one of his sisters. Her eyes were closed, so he nudged her with a paw meowing quietly, "Viper? Viper? I'm seeing weird things..."Glancing over at Tiger, he could see a much more intimidating orange striped cat.@starling @cougar@sorenfliesthroughstorms Lol now that the timeline is fixed, I don't even wanna know what Tall will do if she catches Fluffy. She's got a temper.@featherstar_stormclan

@sorenfliesthroughstorms I would just say that its in rock, and scent doesn't stick underground. So she couldn't have followed scent. But with that in mind read my post, I think next time at least try to wait for any reactions to happen from cats.@poe@starling@cougar{Viper}I woke up looking at Weasel as he prodded her awake. "Like what weird things?" I asked sitting up. I tilted my head to the side noticing a slight change in the general appearance of him, but by now it was almost normal.{Silence}I pick up the rabbit looking around hte forest. I follow my scent trail and head back to the cave, dropping my rabbit in time to see Fluffy entering hte tunnel Tall went into. I mutter under my breath before running after the cat and pulling her back by the tail.

"You don't mean to say you see strange things you've never seen before. Well, we haven't seen much, but they seem... Like sometimes you aren't like a cat. Not furry, and with these scary eyes. And Tiger sometimes looks... Like a larger striped cat that isn't like us." Weasel wondered if any of this even made sense. Maybe this was all normal, and being so young, they didn't know it yet?@starling @cougar@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan

Why are you not cats ?' She asked, her words not making any sense. She looked at Viper, then at Weasel, shaking her head as if she had fallen into a dream. ---As the Tom cat left Midnight, she decided to wander off and find some other place to hunt. She looked over at Clover, who had 5 little mice in her jaws. 'Hi, Clover right ?' Midnight smiled at her. 'Are those for River's three kits ?'---Clover nodded her head 'It seems like a very juicy meal for the kits. It helps them to train their teeth to eat bigger things, especially at that age' she meowed, handing one to Midnight. 'Hold it, don't eat it' she snapped.

I meowed, my ice-blue eyes staring into his while my purple eye observed his face. "So I'm not crazy." I meowed reaching over to Tiger with my other paw and placing it on her back. "We're all crazy together."{Tall}I left the tunnel glaring at Fluffy as I saw Silence drag her out of hte tunnel.{I've come up with eye colors for Viper. Her left if purple and the right is ice-blue.}

He mewed.-----Ivan's stomach grumbled again as he got up and walked over to where the cat who caught the rabbit was."So... Are you going to eat that?" I also thought we mentioned prey was scarce, but maybe I totally just thought that it was mentioned and it actually wasn't. LolAnd Ivan is not good at social interaction. 😋

And yeah, kits can't eat mice, but I remember in the Dawn book of Warriors TNP, Kody helped Birchkit eat mice when he was only like five days old or whatnot.{Tall}"That doesn't concern you." I snarled. "Next time why don't you listen to the cat who tells you what to do." I added baring my teeth in her direction.{Silence}"I don't really care, just don't eat it alone. Share with someone." I called to Faust as I headed back out into the storm.{Time skip to two days later.}{The cats have been there for two days, the storm has not lessened and hte kits have learned more about what the visions mean. They are more adventurous, and Tall has started denying interaction.}{Viper}I smiled at Weasel and rolled out of hte nest. "Let's explore."

"Ohhh count me in!" Weasel exclaimed. He loved exploring and learning new things. There was a lot to explore here, which made it even better.-------Ivan often took long walks when things got too routine in the Cave of Light. Today was one such day, and he took off as fast as he could through the tunnels. As soon as he reached the outside, he pushed himself to sprint as fast as he could, enjoying the exercise. He was already used to the hail and wet conditions; he didn't mind getting a little muddy.-------The crowded cave was really getting to be too much for Faust. He was getting sick of the constant din that seemed to attack his senses. He'd been lying in his nest with his head on his paws for a while now, so he figured it was time to move. Maybe look for Tall. Something seemed to be bothering her. Well, bothering her more than other cats existing in her life did on a daily basis.@starling @cougar@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclanYeah, I just couldn't remember. XDAnd it really must have been a long time since I read that book. Wow. O.o

@starling @poe @featherstar_stormclan @sorenfliesthroughstorms I had a stray cat living in my backyard a few years ago. It had 2 kittens and since they were 4 days old, I gave them chicken left over and they ate it xD. 'How exciting ! Wait for me !' Tiger laughed along with her siblings. She looked at Sky who was still helping River create 3 little nests for the kits. After Tiger got the visions, she had been tossing and turning in her sleep. As a result, she had restless nights. --- Midnight looked at the three kits, who was still exploring the caves. 'Hi guys. How's your search going ?' Midnight smiled. Tiger turned to Midnight and wagged her tail. 'We're not searching for anything, but we are exploring this place' She meowed, greeting the She-cat.
