@sorenfliesthroughstorms it's not shadow snakes. It's the Spirit inhabiting Viper.@poe@cougar@starling{Viper}I shake my head before looking at a small puddle of water in the cave. My eyes looked normal enough, and there wasn't anything still around me, as I had originally felt."Anyone care to explain what just happened?" I demand.{Tall}"Sure." I meowed. I sat down facing Faust drawing my tail over my paws."Over the span of many years there were cats who first walked the earth, these cats were the basis for the cats we have today. Some of htese cats were called, Shadow, a pure black tom with solid red eyes. The second was Light, a golden tom with blue eyes. After Light came Air, a white she-cat with brown eyes, after her, Rain, a blue-gray cat with eyes of gray."Following those cats were many others all representing an element or aspect of a cat. As these cats came to rule feuds broke out. And the cats decided it was best not to remain on the ground. After the decision was chosen they modeled the first actual cat after them, incorporating an aspect of each cat into it."Certain cats were gifted with a Spirits abilities, as the Spirit inhabited them. Most were named after the time of day that spirit was more prominent, although they also took on names of plants, and animals. There came a time when Light, Shadow, Rain, and Fire all choose cats to use as hosts in the living realm."As the cats all joined, a disturbance was brought in the living world. It couldn't contain those Spirits with their quarreling abilities. And ultimately a great battle broke out among the groups each cat had chosen to dwell. The spirits decided it was time to act fast, and using their host bodies they defeated the battle, separating from the cats, leaving them dead and retreating to the Spirit realm."From their safe spot, they watched helpless as the remaining cats killed themselves over pointless things. After a while a few cats remained too exhausted to continue with the battle, they forged a truce and went their separate ways. Yet they left behind allot of kin, dead on the site of hte battle."As for the spirits, they learned a lesson about using cat hosts. Banning that from their ways they went about their regular life. Yet some still say that the ever sneaky spirit still takes the place of a cat and that's when the deadly battles begin."I sigh. "I guess it wasn't the worst story I've heard, but still it pretty much sums up what's happened now." I meow.

"It sounds like you're saying the four missing spirits have chosen to walk as cats in our world again." Faust looked at Tall quizzically, but with a serious tone.---------"Let's take a walk out of the eyes of everyone in the cave and I'll tell you what I saw. I don't know that you're gonna like it..." Weasel trailed off, recalling Viper's odd behavior about the stone with the snake on it.@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan@cougar @starling

"So her form was broken and split into two cats. I sense troubles with Wisdom as well." I sighed my head drooping. "It's too much." I whispered, a searing agony springing up in my head.{Viper}"Uh, sure." I meowed following my brother.{I'm going to time skip and leave this stuff how it is. Let's just pretend that stuff happened.}{TIME SKIP= 6 MOONS}{In that time, Tiger has died, @cougar was inactive for a very long time, we needed the kit for hte thing and without her the kit couldn't be used. The remaining two kits have grown stronger and the incident with Viper was forgotten by all. Tall, Faust, Windspeaker, and Cinder have all been inhabited by a remant of a Spirit. Rain: Faust, Windspeaker. Wisdom: Tall, Cinder.River has passed on, being killed as Wisdom died, because the Spirit was linked with her.Silence has left the caves and is living in hte forest. The storm has stopped.}

@sorenfliesthroughstorms They can't talk to it, and it doesn't give them powers. They can't use it at the moment at least. And she doesn't have the full Spirit, it was split between her and Faust, because only the kit, Falcon, was compatible with the Spirit.@poe@starling{Viper}I sit in my small cave, after some incident as a kit, Tall sent me into my own private cave for some reason or another. It was pretty quiet here, for the most part, and at least there wasn't any other cats here to annoy me.{Tall}I woke up in the cave I spent most of my time. The sky shining above was clear, yet the ache in my head remained prominent. Even after six moons it hadn't dispersed, yet today it seemed even worse.

Walking through the forest, Faust found his mind wander back to the spirits he'd first heard about some moons back. He looked up to the clear sky, glad that the weather had let up a few moons back; the sun seemed to promise there wouldn't be a storm as devastating as that again.---------When he woke up after a long nap, his dead sister crept into his thoughts. He missed Tiger, but what was worse was that his feelings about her death had always been indifferent. Weasel found he had a lot of odd qualities like that.He shook the thought away and stretched. Weasel decided to go see how Viper was doing. It wasn't long before he was approaching her cave.@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan@starlingDon't know what to do with Ivan right now, so I'll leave him for the moment. If someone wants to mention him or something feel free. Lol

@poe @starling @sorenfliesthroughstorms{Viper}I roll onto the floor from my nest as I caught scent of Weasel. "What do you want?" I asked.{Silence}I stalked a mouse, heading towards the unrelenting scent of prey when I noticed a scent, vaguely familiar.

"Wrong? How so?" Weasel inquired, sitting down and wrapping his tail over his paws.-----"Silence! Good to see you. I've been well, yourself?" Spending so much time living with other cats softened Faust's attitude problem a little. He still hadn't really talked to most of the cats, even after all this time, but Silence made for a good friend.@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan@starling

Faust sighed at the question. Tall hadn't been well since, oh, sometime around bringing in more cats to the Cave of Light? He told Silence as much, then, "I'm a little worried about her. Knowing that my eyes flashed red from the fact the shadows danced across the back of the cave.{Silence}I nodded. "There's a clearing up ahead, rabbits and squirrels are almost always there."

He often wondered about it, but it was a pretty touchy subject, so he only knew what he occasionally saw.-----"Sounds like a good choice to me." Faust dove after Silence. He didn't slow once he saw the clearing, instead racing toward a squirrel he caught sight of. It was close, and it started running, but Faust had noticed it first and closed the space between them faster than the squirrel could get away.--------"I've been well enough." Weasel drifted off, recalling something hadn't been quite right with him, "except there is this strange behavior I've come to notice in myself."@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan@starling

"You look a little startled, Windspeaker." Ivan said, walking up to the she-cat.-------"I've realized that I seem to have developed a knack for manipulating cats... When I want something a certain way, I seem to jump to leaving cats with suggestions so that they do what I want. And then I also can't seem to help but listen in on conversations often, as if I need to know all the details all the time. It's odd, really." Weasel tried to explain this strange deceitful behavior he'd found in himself.-------One squirrel down. Faust decided to try for a bird, just for fun. They were a little more challenging than something like a mouse or vole.@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan@starlingWow, everyone is so busy.

@poe Yeah. His beheivor makes sense. Because Air is a rather deceitful Spirit. @starling @sorenfliesthroughstormsNote: Viper and Weasel have powers because they have a full spirit in them. Unlike Faust, Cinder, Windspeaker, and Tall, who only have a small amount but not enough to show up yet.{Viper}"Strange." I meowed. "I've noticed strange behavior in myself as well. Mainly during the night, when the darkness is at its strongest."{Silence}I scent shrew in hte clearing and seeing it out of hte corner of my eyes I couch down and pounce.

"Strange behavior at night? What kind of behavior?" Weasel asked. He was glad that at least the two of them could be honest about the weird stuff that was going on. If he was honest with himself, he'd have to admit she was the only one who ever got the whole truth of anything from him these days. Not that anyone knew they were being lied to. It worried him how good he was at lying.------Faust scented the air, noticing Silence pounce on something as he did.@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan That's good because I figured if Viper is like a snake, Weasel should take after a weasel and be all like that.@starling

I shut my eyes and dug my claws into the rocky ground of hte cave. I turned my head to the side and opened them to see the shadows rippling and shaking in hte pale light.{GTG}

Weasel may have become deceitful, but he cared a lot about his sister, especially after his other sister died.-------Faust wandered a short ways from the clearing, since the two cats had stirred things up there. He scented the air, unable to smell any birds, but catching the scent of a mouse. It would do. He wanted to head back soon anyhow. Quickly, Faust tracked down the mouse and disposed of it.As he trotted back to where Silence was he asked, "Are you ready to head back to the cave?"@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan@starling

"Oh! Hunting sounds great! I'm starved!" Ivan replied, not surprisingly. He was always hungry. "How about we take Fluffy with us? She could use practice."--------"So what?" Weasel replied warmly. He could care less if the shadows followed his sister. He'd stick with her, no matter what.--------"All right. Thank you. I hope I'll see you again in the near future." Faust picked up his prey, which was really a mouthful at this point, and sauntered back toward the cave.@sorenfliesthroughstorms@featherstar_stormclan@starling
