If somebody accidentally clicks "accept" on an offer is it a rule that the person has to give back the creature?Full context: A lal was one of my top four wishlist creatures, and I offered on a trade with a lal and the user accepted it. I already crossed it off my wishlist, and I was so happy. Now it turns out the user clicked accept by accident.I don't know what to do, I think I'll try to add to my offer.

Nope. The user is not required to send the creature back. All trades are final, and the creature is now fully under your possession. This user most likely didn't even click it by "accident" He probably later realized that he preferred the lal and was using it as an excuse to get it back~

@despair should I give it back or not? *MORAL DILEMMA ALERT*and the user wrote on my wall, "if you don't give it back I'll be really angry at you"
jess11y • 28 January 2014 at 10:59 AM
@circus It isn't a rule, but it is common to give it back because if you put yourself in their shoes it would stink if you accepted the wrong offer. I think it is only right to give it back, the person will be really happy. And you can definitely try to work out a deal with the person to get the lal 😊 Good luck with everything!

@circus Its fully up to you.Personally, I wouldn't. The user has plenty of time to back out and realize they "misclicked"When you accept an offer, a pop up box comes up asking if you are sure you want to accept. This user had the option to hit reject more than enough times.

@circus I agree with @despair on the point they just made.I think the person liked your offer then accepted but they might have had someone make a better offer. If the person is writing mean things on your wall that isn't right of them. I personally think you have every right to keep it, especially if the offer was fair.

@circus I know about the moral dilemma. I can't decide for you, but I did get a user angry on me cuz I traded on the creature I won in competition. I'm sure that kind of situations happen, but the site is big enough and you could probably avoid any further contact. On the other hand I did accept an under-offer on a trade because I was expecting to get a travel. But when I went to check the other person out I saw it was a newbie, and of course didn't have the travel, but I let them have the creature. It wasn't anything of a Lal value though 😊

Well, I would check to see how old (on EC) the user is. I've found some people who have been on for 4 months but have rare creatures that wouldn't have normally been available to them without the help of friends (or scams). If the user is less than a year old, I think that they wouldn't be particularly trustworthy and you should keep the creature, but if they are older than a year and have good grammar and diplomacy skills, then you should give it back.@circus

@despair yeah i didn't know they has two chances to reject offer cause I haven't traded in a while, that just made my decision, thank you.@Jess11y@barbykaThank you. I asked my dad too and he said I should trade it, byut changed his mind when he realized that the user posted that she's get angry set me.Final decision: not giving it back.Thank you guys.

Hello! D':I'm that person who accidentally accept her Skrute, 3 new LEs and 400k EC for my frozen Lal in 1st stage... When I accidentally accept her offer, few (3-5) minutes later I realize that I don't have that creature in trade centar... And at that moment I ask @circus "can I get back my Lal?? " and when I say "I will be mad at you" I didn't know what I typing because I was crying and right now I crying so I don't really know what I typing... I get a lot offers on that lot and I really don't like her offer because I have all of that creatures and I think that @circus offer is under offer... And I'm on my phone so... That Lal is my first creature that I bought with my CC... :'( And I really want her back and I can offer 1 mil. EC more (Skrute, 3 LEs and 1.400.000 EC) And you first say "ok" then you say "sorry, I will keep that creature" 0.0(Sorry if I wrote something wrong)

@circus @life @despair has covered everything, but I'd like to point out the Trade Safety page and quote a couple of things from it:"Trade Reversals — under no circumstances can Team Egg Cave reverse trades. All trades are final.""Creature Ownership — once you trade away a creature, realize that it is no longer under your control."life: I'm so sorry this happened (and I know it must really suck to have a creature like that just /gone/. D: ), but that's the way things are. In the future, do make sure to check and double-check. :c ❤️

@circus I just want to see what people will offer and someone (I don't know who was that anymore) offer Encalop (He is my 2nd favorite creature after Oscoa), Ott and Canige... And I was thinking to accept that but I didn't because I wasn't sure and then I accidentally accept your offer... :'(I don't know my name anymore... If you want to be that way... OK... But please if you will quitt from eggcave, please, can I get that creature back? And if you want I will give back your creatures because I dont need it... I will set up a lot so you can offer common... :''(And sorry again...

Unfortunately we are unable to reverse the trade as all trades are final. I know its horrible to make such a mistake but once the creature is out of your cove it is no longer yours. And if the other party doesn't want to give it back then that is their choice. As bad as hearing that choice can be, making it can be just as hard. I'm sorry that this happened, it is best to try and move past this.Closing this topic down before any drama has the chance to start.
