So I watch a lot of horror movies, and gore usually never fazes me. But I saw this one movie last night and I honestly can't get the picture out of my head. But the thing is i never feel this way about movie gore(I guess cause i know it's fake). I haven't been able to eat since last night... Help!

@Duckduck

I have a ( usually awesome ) mental-picture power. See, when I read a book, I can see the scene happening around me like a movie.

This happened to me a few months when I read The Veldt. ( a veldt is a African savanna... am I spelling it right? ) It was a very futuristic book.. There was no gore but it scared the pants off of me. 😋

Think about things that are TOTALLY UNRELATED to what you watched or read, or just random things, funny things, silly things. ( Spongebob is a very good example of this, as @Spiritkoi said. ) It helps 😊

( but still... I can't get very faint, sticking images of The Vedlt out of my head, still today. )
Good luck, and don't watch TOO many horror movies! 😸

@duckduck Honestly, I just do what the other two said. I'd try to watch something funny. If I watch something that makes me laugh, I find it really helps me get my mind off whatever it is I'm trying not to think of.

@duckduck Usually I watch reality TV shows after watching scary movies. Watching Keeping up with the kardasians or Teen mom after something scary gets it right outta your head. Or what @spiritkoi said, Spongebob is perfect xD

@spiritkoi " This was supposed to be my perfect day. but then everything... everything turned to doo-doo "
Haha ok i'm not gunna spam up this topic with my endless amount of spongebob quotes. Weird that I can remember episodes word for word but not school stuff xD

@duckduck Also, if you wanna watch some cute/funny videos look up The cat that says no & Ravenmania- Nevermore on youtube. Both are animals & they sound like theyre talking, trust me on this one haha

@faybaybay Haha! Another way to get over nausea is ask your friend to make chicken noises and rooster crows. XD

@duckduck

Ginger ale or anything containing ginger.

You should probably watch something light-hearted as well.
