I'd like to point out that the Latin "humus" is not a word for the planet Earth - looking at Google Translate, that would probably be
tellus (earth, region, soil, ground, Land, globe),
mundus (World, universe, toiletware, nature, earth, mankind),
orbis terrae/terrarum (World, earth, globe), or
orbis (World, earth, disk, orb, circle, circumference).

Note that 'humus' seems to be more related to dirt and countries than it is to planets. In English it would probably be best translated as 'land'. If this is what you're going for, awesome. If you were going for 'planet', I would suggest:
Panthus (panther+tellus)
Panthus (panther+mundus)
Pandus (panther+mundus)
Panthorbis (panther+orbis/its variations)
Pantherbis (panther+orbis/its variations)



Aaaaanyway, outside of name-critiquing-land, many ❤️'s from me on this one. You've captured all my favorite things in one - cats, green, blue, planty things, everything 😸

@purrclan - Thank you for pointing that out x3 Honestly I'm horrible with roots / foreign languages etc. The extent of my knowledge is that I googled "What is the latin word for earth" and that showed up. I'm honestly kinda not surprised that it's wrong, google can get lost in translation at times. But at least it's remotely related x3 I feel like it would be a bad idea to change the name so late in the game.

The only thing I can think of is "Panthellus" xD

Or perhaps just keep it as Panthus as a mixture of panther + mundus as you suggested? 😊

Mundus would be more around what I was looking for as far as translation goes, tellus is ideally spot on but I think changing it wouldn't be good :c

Google Translate is helpful. I myself know no Latin or anything. 😋
I don't see anything wrong with changing the name, though. Actually, why don't you do a poll?
- keep it Panthus (and you would decide which latin it used)
- Pathellus
- Panthorbis (I like this one, you get all of 'panther' and the Earth-y meaning)
(The other ones are kind of meh in my opinion 😋)
