A powerful strike of dark lightning shot through the foliage at Solares. It moved so fast, he didn't even get a chance to react. But somehow, Theodore had moved fast enough to catch the bolt. It came with a price, though. He may have stopped the lightning, but it took too much out of him, and Theodore collapsed. This little human had used his magic to save Solares' life.

Solares could not watch even a human make a sacrifice for him without doing something about it. He hoped Theodore would be all right, but right now, he had to use his despised element to end this fight, or he would be killed.

He wasn't sure how he knew what to do, maybe it was spirits of long-dead dragons, maybe it was just intuition. Solares found the evil energy occupying the dragon he could now see as Silvergust. If he could get the power flowing, he should be able to make physical contact between the energy of his spirit and the evil energy and rip it from his friend. After all, killing was one of the talents associated with the death element.

Silvergust felt a cold chill run out of her spine. Flames curled along her back and her eyes glowed red with flame. The spirit of the witch was possessing her. "Your death element is nothing compared to my magic! My magic is powerful enough to slay gods! The god of obliteration is my mentor and I was sent to destroy your kind. I cursed the humans to kill you but, they left some eggs undisturbed as it seemsss." Her voice was different. She turned into fire and shot another bolt at him. Suddenly, something grabbed him and took Solares to the shadows. "Shadowpool!" she yelled.

Suddenly, everything was dark. Theodore was still collapsed at his feet. Solares had no idea where he was. The only thing he could see were coiling shadows around him and the young human.

"Nymph, Oppi, I believe we've had enough rest.." Asa said as she rose to her feet. Her harm was itchy, but wasn't hurting. Asa padded off into the forest and in the process she saw a huge Salaslyke. Because she was hungry, she crushed the lizard with a sharp stone, then proceeded to eat it.

Moonlock ran into asa as she saw a delicious salyske but asa looked still hungry as she stared at the small kitep moonlock.

"Why you little," The witch roared in her head. She began chanting a death spell. "Solares, help me..." Her body was getting limp. Only Solares' death power would help her.

Solares could feel the life slipping away from Silvergust. The shadows dissipated. He focused his power. He could feel all the energies of life around him. He could feel the extension of the witch's energy that controlled Silvergust. If he ripped the energy out, Silvergust would be left with whatever was killing her. He would need Nymph and the others to help keep her alive.

Quickly, Solares sent a spirit to find his friends. It would pulse energy at a wavelength of visible light so they could see and follow it. Then, he let his own life energy expand around him like an aura. With that, he raced over to Silvergust.

"I can't promise that it will be okay, but I'll do everything I can to save you!" He told her urgently.

With his spirit half detached, he bit into the evil energy of the witch, yanking it from Silvergust. The energy fought and lashed out at him, leaving deep cuts on his face, neck, and body. Solares tightened his jaws further, twisting to finally rip the energy away from his friend's life energy. He tore a part of the energy off, then hear the scream of the evil energy as it recoiled and swished away, the severed piece disappearing from the world of the living forever.

"Silvergust!" Solares was back at his friend's side. He could do little to keep her alive alone, since his power was not one of healing. He lay down and tried to coax her energy into staying in one piece, instead of running from her like water from a fountain.

Silvergust lay still on the forest floor. She shimmered and something happened. The Great One was talking through her to recite a prophecy. "There are seven in this prophecy. Going through fire to meet me. Against the witch's might, a dragon's last fight, to meet one's very end." She woke up. "Huh? What happened?"

"Ok Asa is wright we got to go Oppi!" Nymph started to search for the others smell. As Asa was the nearest person she ran to her but with her there was another familiar smell. "Hello Asa!" Nymph said while watching Asa talk with a little Kitep "Oh my that's Moonlock?!" She recognized the smell.

Nymph was laughing about Moonlock's form when she noticed the strange glow "What is that guys?? Is it some type of magic that you have?"

After hours of wandering around all by herself. Oppi did indeed feel lost. For almost a hundered times she shouted "Moonlock, Nymph, Solares, Silvergust! Where are you!" She left like being abandoned all over again.
She could survive by herself but not for very long. Deiceding to take a break and hunt for a meal.

The spirit moved frantically, starting to move away. Hopefully, the dragons would follow it back to where Solares and Silvergust were.

Asa noticed the Glowing light immediately. In her own logic, it was a bad idea, but she cautiously followed the light anyways, dropping her food in the process.

Solares was worried, now. Silvergust's energy was still flowing away. He couldn't leave her to try bandaging her wounds. Just then, Theodore came to. He stumbled over to Solares, asking what happened. Solares snarled at the human, but Theodore ignored the threat and started tearing parts of his clothing to make bandages for Silvergust while they waited for the dragons that could help heal her and make better bandages with salves.

All Solares could do was lay there and continue coaxing her life energy to stay, and occasionally add a little of his own to keep her hanging on.

Nymph was worried about Oppi so she sent a bird to check on her, she kept walking with the others because this glowing wasn't normal.

Silvergust stared at the spirit. It felt warm, and friendly, unlike the brother she had previously fought. She realized that Shadowpool must have been controlled. She walked up to the spirit and smiled. It dissipated and her brother appeared.

Moonlock saw the brother appear as she bolted towards him wobbling as fast as she could possibly go. She saw the brother stare at her as she kicked him with her small kitep feet.

Asa quickly realized that something was amiss, she saw the glowing light hover towards a few semi-conscious/unconscious dragons. "Wait, Solares.... Silvergust...and.." Asa cut off at the sight of a human. The fact that he was still alive was a complete mystery to her. But, Asa ignored the human and bolted off to gather herbs.

Nymph was worried about this glowing power so she hurried to get where it stopped, there she saw Asa, Moonlock, Solares and Silvergust that was in really critical state.
She didn't noticed the human, she ran to Silvergust and started to make plants grow and mix some leaves and flowers in a type of recepient made of wood.
Asa brought some other herbs from this country, that would help stopping the bleeding. She took one of the flowers that growed on her arm and added it. "This is a very special type of flower, it's grews from my vital force, will help her energy get stable" Nymph explained "Well Silver I can't say that this will have a good taste but it will make you better!" With that Nymph smiled like relaxing everybody and gently made Silver drink the green, bad looking medicine.

Solares was relieved to see his friends arrive. It was good to know the rest of them were safe. He let his head rest on the ground. Trying to keep a soul from leaving the living was exhausting. Theodore sat next to him, very close, looking tired as well, but also nervously watching all the dragons around him. Solares realized the human was probably afraid that he'd be ripped to shreds any moment, and the most familiar thing in this area was himself. His eyelids felt very heavy now, and Solares drifted off, unaware that he did so.
