The Dragons of the Arken Skies

The spirit stared at all of the dragons surrounding him. He said something, but it was in death speak and only Solares could translate it. He looked puzzled for a moment, wondering why no one was responding. Then he realized. He didn't do anything else except stare at Moonlock the Kitep hungrily.

While hunting for a meal, Oppi heard a bird chirp in the distance. She didn't kill it right away cause she reckonized the chirp, a bird sommoned by Nymph.
But as she leaned forward towards the little bird- ZOOM! Something as fast just flew by in a shadow killing the bird too. Oppi had grit her teeth knowing it was that fiend of a shadow dragon hunting her and her friends for quite a bit.

when it was all finished, Asa sat and looked over the work done in approval. Her attention then turned to the human, she had half the mind to tear him a part, but again.. Asa remembered that Solares would have done the job LONG ago, thus, this human was on his good side..for now. She just stood there, studying the strange features of the human.

Nymph was relived that everything looked right but it didnt last long, she felt a bad energy and remembered that Oppi weren't with them "Guys something is wrong I'm going to go after Oppi! I can't feel the bird that I sent to watch on her and I'm worried"
With that she hurried to the direction where she felt the bird for the last time.

Oppi stood her ground, still feeling the presansance of the shadow...
Quietly and silent Oppi had been trapped in a large dark void of swirling shawdows around her. Screams of death and disspair like a tornado around her as well. No doubt this was an attack from the shawdow dragon.

Solares woke up feeling something small patting his shoulder. He saw Theodore anxiously trying to wake him while he watched Asa staring.

"That dragon looks like it's going to hurt me..." Theodore whispered.

Solares looked at the human with his head tilted, "really? You think I'm going to save you?"

"Hey, I took a hit for you back there, you could at least thank me. But seriously, look at those killer eyes!" Theodore hadn't stopped watching Asa.

"She won't rip you apart. Well, she probably won't, since I haven't. This is Asa. You can stop talking about her like she isn't here now. She can hear you, you know." Solares reminded him.

Then he heard Nymph bring up the fact that Oppi was alone. Solares whipped his head around to see her race off.

"Here we go again." Solares groaned. He could still feel the exhaustion in his limbs.

"..." Asa still watched the human with her intense sapphire eyes. Silently, she decided to guard her friends while Nymph went looking for Oppi. From the looks of it, 'Theodore' was the humans name. After a long silence, Asa finally spoke up. "...you saved Solares... and I think you for that." Asa said solemnly, "But keep in mind that if you even dare to harm my family... I will be the first to end your life."

Solares made a funny dragon laugh, then told Asa, "Don't you even worry about getting rid of this little guy. I'm pretty sure I'll have him dead if he even THINKS about stepping out of line."

Theodore gulped and looked uncomfortable at the topic of discussion.

"You don't really need to worry about that. I'm stuck out here, and I may have magic to help me with a lot of things, but magic alone doesn't give one survival skills. If I'm going to live, my best chance is sticking with this guy. He owes me one." A smug smile directed at Solares finished his remark.

"I don't think Nymph should be going alone to find Oppi. Are you staying to look after everyone here?" Solares asked Asa.

"I was think of it, yes.." Asa replied back, seeing how exhausted her dragon friends were.. if something were to come along, they wouldn't be much defense, and quiet frankly she didn't trust them to Theodore.

"If you're staying here, I should go with Nymph. Who know's what else is out there? We've got enough enemies now." Solares informed her of his decision.

Nymph found the bird dead on the ground "I'm sorry" She was sad, she didn't want to bring death to the creature. 'Oppi I need to find her immediatly!' She thought and started to smell desperately Oppi's scent.
"Oppi where are you??" Suddenly she felt this dark presence and started to becime really seriously with an angry face." Shadow dragon show your face!! I'll make you free my friend!"

It took a while to catch up, but Solares could see Nymph up ahead. She shouted angrily at a shadow dragon. He ran to close the distance.

Theodore watched Solares leave. That was definitely not a good thing in his books. He picked a spot on the ground to sit where it was still a little warm from Solares' body heat, since the rest of the ground was quite cold.

He hated that he was so far from home.

Asa despised humans, but... this one was stranger out of the bunch. in that moment, She had sympathy for him in his struggles. "I must be going insane.." Asa breathed under her breath as she rose and lied down next to Theodore. She stretched her wing over the human as an act of kindness, then resumed her watch over Silvergust.

Theodore flinched as Asa moved closer. He may be trying to act flippant about the whole situation, but it was impossible to not be terrified of these huge dragons.

"Truth be told... Asa, was it? I've never seen a dragon until I ended up out here." Theodore attempted conversation.

Shadowpool was staring at the tiny dragon screaming at him. He questioned her, but it was in death tongue. He apologized in death tongue for leaving her in the Shadow Matrix and walked away. He joined Silvergust, watching Asa and the human. The human attempted conversation. Asa didn't respond. Shadowpool asked who the human was in death tongue to Solares since he figured Solares would understand. He waited for the response.

Shadowpool's head jerked upward, as if sensing something. He cast a spell and sent everyone into the Shadow Matrix. "Shadowpool! What are you doing?!" Since we were in the Shadow matrix, he could talk normally. "The witch. She was assigned to destroy all dragons. She's an Exterminator. Her life-long mission is to destroy dragons. She manipulated her magic to make humans kill dragons, just as she did with Silvergust and me."

Moonlock stared at the big dragon staring at her hungrily and she bit his leg as hard as she could but she was so small it had no effect. She saw as the shadow dragon bent down but moonlock wobbled backwards .

He stared at Moonlock, as if deciding what to do about the inferior creature she had been so ridiculously turned into. He manipulated the spell in her body with shadow and turned her back into a dragon. "Hmm. Now that that's over with, any ideas on how to kill the witch?"

Solares shook his head. His element didn't plan deaths ahead. But when something was in front of him, he knew what to do.

Theodore was still next to Asa, a little farther from the others. He replied, "Well I was traveling with someone, but then the witch cast a spell on me, causing me to attack Solares, if you remember that."

When Theodore heard Shadowpool's question, he squirmed. Solares padded over to him.

"What's with you? You were nervous around the dragons, but now you're fidgeting like you know something." Solares pried.

Theodore sighed. He figured he'd get ripped apart by dragons one way or another, "I do know something. I know how to kill the witch. The reason I'm out here so far from other humans is that witch. She brought me out here with her because she's... My mother."

"This might be a problem." Silvergust said. "My question is, are you really willing to kill your mother?" Shadowpool nodded his head. "And, will you be a problem if we do try to kill the Exterminator?" He didn't specify the Exterminator as a witch. Shadowpool was a very accurate dragon when speaking. He spat out the word Exterminator as if is were a hunk of rotten Kujack.

Moonlock saw that the dragon turned her back. Moonlock was so delighted with joy that unexpectedly she hugged the dragon.

Shadowpool looked shocked for a moment. he looked down and saw Moonlock. "Umm..." He wobbled a bit before asking her politely to get off.

Silvergust chuckled. "It's okay. he's just not used to company-unless you're dead." She giggled. "Very funny, Silvergust." Shadowpool said.

"Shadowpool, I can't let her destroy the dragon race. After seeing all of you in person, I can't understand why she wants you gone. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I know for certain I won't be killing a single dragon, or helping her do so." Theodore told Shadowpool with unwavering confidence, "As for how to kill her, she may be powerful, but she does have a weakness like everyone else."

Solares found himself glad that he wouldn't have to kill Theodore. It was almost surprising, since he of all the dragons here was one of the oldest, and saw and fought in the war between dragons and humans. He hated humans. Asa would probably remember the time they came across a human hunting in their territory, and how he disposed of him without hesitation. His mind began to wander while the others conversed.

Asa listened to the conversation in silence, why on Arch would a human ever.. EVER... help a dragon..?
Asa stretched her claws, and eased them back again. The very thought turned in her stomach.
