Both parents are always of the same element because of Tribe separation so there are no hybrids with 2 elements unless a part of the prophecy revealed later.

So... uh.... could it be like a backstory for my character? Like, eventually he gets some control over shadows or something?
Like, part of the prophecy?

Well we cannot say anything now. It's not that you are born with it, it's that it's gifted to you so you can't have 2 elements until the prophecy is revealed.

"Yes, actually. I'd only heard of them until recently. We met up with a kind nature dragon named Nymph just recently after you left." Solares' mind was moving quickly. How interesting that she should mention it just after they met a nature dragon.

"Most of our family is gone to find a sister Moonlock just now told us about, but I can gather Kance and Nymph if you like." Solares replied still relaxed, though he could see she was clearly desperate to talk.

Asa sensed something was amiss, the warning it rode through the cold winds. She was cautious as she flew with the others, keeping en eye on the ground and an eye on them.

She needed to know more about what was going on, but ever since the humans attacked Dragonia, the ancient archives were destroyed along with every single document in them. There were no means of retrieving data about their situation. Except for the Oracle...

While Solares and Silvergust were talking Nymph was in a glade almost in the middle of the forest admiring some cute little Irels.

"Kance should be on the beach here, you ought to find her easily. I'll go look for Nymph in the foliage." With that, Solares flew to where the plants were going and picked up Nymph's scent where he'd last seen her. He followed it, and called out to her hoping she'd hear him soon.

"Kance!" she yelled. Then she saw what she thought to be his silhouette. "Kance?" she walked over to the shape but it vanished. "Shadow magic... Another DRAGON??? Kance!" She saw another silhouette but instead of Kance, it was herself. How do they know us? Then, around her sillhouette she saw her parents. " SOLARES!!!!" She ran across the coast but the shadows just followed her. Where was the magic being cast from? She was scared.

Huum what is that? It sounds like Solares. Nymph thought "Hello!! I'm here!!!" She called back and ran to where the voice was coming from and easily she found Solares "Hello! I thought you were training, what are you doing here?"

Solares and Nymph arrived at the beach quickly, seeing Silvergust in a panic. She looked terrified.

The shadows were chasing her but they had grown to am army of Dragons. She ran into the forest and huddled behind Solares and Nymph. "Shadow spirits! A-a-a SHADOW DRAGON!"

Solares remained undaunted at the sight of the shadows. Now, he wouldn't describe himself as brave, since he wasn't really scared. That happened when death was familiar with you and you with it. Not to mention he personally found spirits more unnerving than shadows, even if they moved.

"Quit the games. It is rather rude to not introduce yourself." Solares chastised the unseen dragon.

"What?! Shadow dragon?! Let's fly so!! Far away of the shadows next to the sun!!" Hearing Solares Nymph calmed down "Ok so why are you doing this?" She asked the shadow

She flew up into the air but they just flew themselves. She cursed. Of course a dragon can fly! Duh! The shadows curled into wraiths and a pure black dragon stepped out of the forest. He had a creepy jester's mask on and made the shadows disperse into the darkness. The dragon tilted it's head slightly as if pondering about how he would torture us but instead, the dragon melted into the shadows...

With his new ability to talk to spirits, he called on the one he'd talked to earlier. /Follow that shadow dragon. I'm not sure what to make of this./ And the spirit nodded in reply.

Uh.. Wait sorry. I don't think the spirits are there anymore. The dragon expelled them and we aren't supposed to have 2 elements yet anyway.

Silvergust watched in awe but noticed the runes. Just like her dad's and her's except orange and yellow. The complete opposites... She knew something was up.

Asa knew well where the beach was, so she used her icy magic to teleport herself back.

Asa has a special ability that acts with her memory of locations that she's been before. Since she's been to the beach, she can just appear there instead of flying back 😸

Silvergust saw Asa appear. She didn't want to say anything about the shadows just yet. Then she remembered. KANCE! Maybe the Shadow dragon took him! Oh no! They had to find him! "Asa. Have you seen Kance? Oh and hi." She was too worried to have a big reunion with everyone.

@satoshi818 If Solares is of the death element, he can ask spirits of the dead to do things for him, can't he? He deserves a couple powers like everyone else, therefore a spirit of the dead should be able to follow the shadow dragon.


Solares still had a hard time talking about his power. He'd never told his family he could see spirits, much less talk to the and the like. Solares had only told them, reluctantly, that he had the death element and that it helped him fight. He wasn't ready to tell them he'd sent one after the shadow dragon. He also hoped he could avoid scaring Nymph off if he didn't tell her.

"I think it will be all right. Kance is probably around here somewhere." Solares mentioned.

O I thought he was of the light element. If he is he can't because it isn't his element. His one and only element would then be light and nothing else.
