Snow! Glorious snow! It felt so great for it to snow that night (although Black didn't seem that happy). But Spirit didn't seem to have any reaction at all. When I peered closely at her, I could see that her eyes were just the tiniest bit focused on me. Hope built up inside me, and I tried to get her to talk to me, Spirit even moved her mouth, but no sound came out. Then suddenly a voice rang out, "Who goes there?" I froze. Could Black, Spirit and I be trespassing?

Blackburn: "Dang this snow...." I mumbled. I hate snow, but Avalon seems to like it. Spirit isn't looking too promising, but seems slightly better then before. Could the hypnosis be gradually wearing off? Suddenly a voice called out from deeper in the cave. "Who goes there?" I whipped around, but there wasn't anything in my immediate sight. What was it now?

SYO:
Syo couldn't sleep in the cave she found. It had started snowing and there was already a small layer of it. She decided to continue looking for the group of Pokemon who could have answers.

It was very late at night now when Syo found another cave. It seemed to be a very deep cave and there were no lights. Syo decided to go in and discovered that it was deeper than she thought. The daintily falling snow picked up into a blizzard, Syo was forced to go deeper into the cave to protect herself. Around an hour later while walking through, Syo was able to hear movement up ahead. It had frightened her so she said, "who goes there?"

The movement stopped, had she scared whoever was up there?

Avalon* "Stay here and look after Spirit, I'll go and see what's there." I told Black. I padded towards the source of the sound, near the entrance of the cave. I could see a faint light up ahead. A faint light just like... fire. Camouflaging myself, I turned around the corner, and saw a small female Charmander. I let go of my camouflage. The Charmander's eyes widened in shock. She probably wasn't used to seeing Pokemon appearing out of nowhere.
"Hello," I said cautiously, "are you lost?"
"Well, I was told to look for a Zorua, Glaceon and a Houndoom, and I don't know this place very well, so yes, I think I am lost." The Charmander replied.
"A Zorua, Glaceon and a Houndoom?" I repeated. "I think you've found the right person, then. Here, come with me." I smiled. The Charmander looked relieved.
"My name is Syo," She said.
"My name's Avalon." I responded. We arrived at the center of the cave, where Black was still tending to Spirit.
"Syo," I announced, "This is Blackburn, or Black for short, and... Spirit." I ended the sentence in a whisper, staring at Spirit in horror. Black and Syo followed my gaze. Spirit, who had seemed to have gotten worse, was lifting up her paws to her throat. As if to strangle herself.
"NO!" Black shouted, trying to prise the paws off. But it seemed to be Spirit's destiny to strangle herself. I tried to separate the her fingers from her throat with a sheet of ice, but to no avail. It was Syo who blasted Spirit's fingers away from her throat with fire. As soon as the fire touched her fingers, Spirit blinked, as if awaking from a deep dream.
"Oh my gosh! I'm free! You know I was fighting against the dark power all the time, trying to break free. I think I just have to touch fire to break the spell. Thanks, guys. Especially you, Syo." Spirit turned to Syo, smiling friendly. So now we knew that the hypnotized persons could still hear, and the antidote was fire. The element that Entei was. We had work to do.

SYO:
I was shocked. Never had I thought that there would be a Pokemon capable of doing what Entei just did. Harming innocent Pokemon for what? There were always rumors of Entei running a muck with their hypnotic abilities but nothing that would harm another.

It was morning. Spirit seemed to be fine, just a little shaken. We needed to find out more information; why Entei was doing this, what else is Entei capable of and if this would affect everyone in the Pokemon world. The small group decided to go to the nearest city to hunt for supplies and answers. Who knows, maybe they will find more Pokemon to help in their quest.

Blackburn: The place was completely abandoned. We had walked to the nearest town, only to find no one there. A battered sign read "Vulpix Village". I walked through the town. What had happened here? I could see shining eyes peering at me from behind boarded up windows. What were they afraid of? Finally I spotted an old slowpoke near the town center. "Hey! What's going on here?!" He turned to look at me with blank, clouded over eyes. Was he under hypn- "INTRUDER! INTRUDER! INTRUDER!" He had sounded the alarm! I turned and ran, only to be confronted by a dark figure. Entei? No! It couldn't be! Not here! But it was. The....others... My thoughts were becoming sluggish. The world was tilting sideways..... No....must....stop...hypnosis... I built up fire in my chest, and shot it at my feet.

Avalon* "No! Black!" I shouted frantically. I tried to use my only fire move, Sunny Day, but Black had already blasted fire at his feet. I dragged him back to where Spirit and Syo were.
"His tail," Syo whispered. "That's what hypnotizes everyone." I shifted uncomfortably. How on earth were we going to fix Entei? What even made him like this? But before I could ask everyone, a young Vulpix approached us.

Name: Noah
Gender: Male
Pokemon: Sableye
Ability: He has general ghost-ish abilities because he's a ghost type. One special thing he has, though, is the ability to make others feel uneasy around him just by being present. And that's when he's not trying; if he wants to push the power further, it creates fear in others.
Personality: He's rather eccentric. He has weird habits, and does some weird things. I might draw a little inspiration from the joker from batman. 😉 But he's not a bad guy. He knows what's up. He isn't the strongest fighter, but he isn't afraid to fight dirty. He does what he wants, in short.

Name: Suicune (I guess? Lol)
Gender: Nope.
Pokemon: Definitely not the aforementioned suicune.
Ability: Suicune things. Yeah.
Personality: I think I'll just play this out.

I might toss in some others later, if that's all right? And I'll probably start with suicune and bring Noah in at some point when it seems good.

Suicune (Who I think I will have the nickname of North, like the North Wind, but only to those who know it enough to be informal)

After a long discussion with Raikou, it was decided that the two would go separate ways in search of answers. Neither of them could figure out exactly what was going on with Entei.

Suicune ran, gliding across the ground without harming a single blade of grass with it's light footfalls. The sun rose, and the North Wind found itself approaching a town. It slowed to a leisurely trot, unsure of whether to search the town for answers. Who knew how many pokemon were hypnotized now?

It could trust no one.

Ability: 100% loyal ((putting this as an ability because this can be fun (evil smile) ))
Personality: 100% loyal to Entei due to an unknown event at an early age. With this, Neon has trouble trusting anyone who isn't Entei and can become very jealous to those who stay near Entei too long. Neon will give his life for Entei.

NEON:
Neon was by Entei's side, like usual. He is happiest there and he hopes Entei feels the same. He assumes so since Entei hasn't kicked him out.
It was midday in the home on Entei and Neon was reviewing his life with Entei. He has been by his side for so long that he has no memories of life without Entei. Neon remembered how much fun it was with Entei. Helping everyone who needed it and protecting those of lesser strength. But lately there has been little protecting. Instead, there was hurting others. Neon wondered why Entei changed his attitude to those of lesser power. Wasn't that the reason why Entei was here-to help those of lesser power? Quite often the other Legendary dogs would appear and stay for a while but for the last few months they haven't come. Well, no matter what, Entei is my master and I will never betray him.

Avalon* "Who are you?" the Vulpix demanded. "Are you here to threaten the people of Vulpix Village?"
"I-I - I mean, we were just, er," I stammered.
"Do you mean any harm?" she cut across me.
"No!" Black spoke sharply. "We are here to protect you. Why would you think we are your foe?"
"Well," the Vulpix said, still looking suspiciously at us, "you look a lot like them." she gestured at two other Pokemon... who turned out to be Entei and Neon. I clenched my teeth. How dare she say that! Spirit, who had noticed my expression, hurriedly shook her head. I tried to calm myself down. Deep down, I knew that I was overreacting a bit, but did our party seriously look... bad?

NEW CHARACTER:
POKEMON: Xerneas ((Sirius))
GENDER: Genderless 😋
SPECIAL ABILITY: Can move into the eyes of any Pokemon.

Avalon had to calm down. I tried to run out of sight to change into another vulpix, but the vulpix(so confusing!) caught me.
"What are you thinking, young one?" It growled. I looked at Avalon and nodded my head. She understood. Then, she pounced and touched me. As soon as that happened, we were camouflaged. I quickly turned into a vulpix. Then, Avalon let go of her camouflage.

I didn't know what to think... team rocket were tracking me.
I the so-called magic Pokemon, still wild, had found out I was followed. Then I heard a voice. I did what I could: evolved into leafion and got ready to battle.

Sirius* ((By the way no-one knows him yet)) Sirius galloped through the thick bush of a forest. It wasn't sure why it was in such a rush; it just felt a disturbance in the atmosphere. As Sirius turned a corner, it froze in its tracks. A female Sylveon was wandering around, looking dazed. As Sirius peered at her eyes, they were even more glassy than usual. Could it possibly be another Pokemon hypnotized? Sirius knew for a fact that Entei had been turned evil by something in the forest, but it had no idea what the antidote to this... disease was.

Suicune

It decided the scent of the town on the wind was not good. The North Wind raced off toward the nearby forest. Suicune secretly really enjoyed navigating rough forest terrain. The scent of a legendary pokemon it had met before reached the North Wind. It headed toward the scent to see Xerneas. That was a comforting sight, indeed. Suicune trotted off toward the legendary.

As Sirius caught sight of Suicune it trotted towards him. They touched heads.
"Greetings, the North Wind." Sirius said softly. "have you heard of the antidote yet?" Suicune shook its head.
"Have you seen Raikou around?" Suicune asked worriedly. "I hope it hasn't been hypnotized."
"It shouldn't be," Sirius said, "Raikou should be quite powerful."
But none of them knew the truth. No one knew that the worst was still to come.

Neon was scared.
"Who are these Pokemon, why are they here?"
Entei didn't answer him. Neon found this strange. Normally Entei answers to Neon. There shouldn't be any outsiders here. Not in the town with Entei's loyal friends. What Neon didn't know was Entei had hypnotized the whole town.
Neon didn't like outsiders. They normally try taking Entei's attention away. The intruders were all scared and almost looked like they were going to run away. They should, Neon thought. No-one can defeat Entei. Entei is the greatest

As I let go of my camouflage, I could see that the Vulpix's eyes were going as round as coins. Then I had an idea. I flashed in then out of my camouflage several times. The Vulpix blinked rapidly, then fainted from shock.
"Come on, let's get out of here!" I yelled, running out of the village boundaries. The others followed behind. But as soon as I passed the borderline, I felt that something was wrong. My fur stood up on an end. I froze them into Ice Needles, for protection. I looked up, and saw Entei, along with Neon. Before I knew it, Entei had used Tailwhip; striking his tail across my face. I staggered, trying to keep focus of everything. I thought I heard the faint echo of voices in the background, but otherwise my mind was blank.

This was bad. Avalon and Black were getting hypnotised. I had to escape. I turned into a human, then grabbed each of them with my "new" hands. Syo followed behind me. I ran. Finally, when I was sure I had lost them, I slowed down. I was so tired, I couldn't balance. Then, my eyes were out.

I stopped the snow. I could sense a disruption in the Earth. Then, I knew it. Entei. He was hypnotising all the pokemon. But why? The Lengendary pokemon left had to solve this.

Personality: Mysterious and dark, but not evil. Mizani is extremely solitary, but prepared to work with others in times of severe danger. He can, however, have the tendency to bite anything and everything that sets off his extremely impatient temper.

I was angry. Some pokemon had slowed me down from getting power. They had realised the antidote: fire. I needed to develop a new way of getting power. At least I had hypnotised most pokemon. I called Neon. He immediately came to me. It was a good thing I had hypnotised him in a different way than now. He could think normally but was extra loyal.

I stared through the tall and thick bushes, fixing my eyes upon the unconscious Zorua -which I had witnessed as a human for a brief moment before their fainting- and the semi-conscious Glaceon and Houndoom. There was a small charmander, but I wasn't too sure about how running out at that little one would turn out.
"Entei... You aren't the only one with a dangerous tail, you twit." I hissed through bared fangs, my tail shaking at the urge to stab something in my rage. I wasn't one to enjoy helping others, but perhaps this time it was needed. I wasn't about to let my ruler be Entei, after all.
I decided to wait until the three awoke, or at least one as so not to get myself into a situation I didn't want to be a part of.
And so I waited, my alert senses ready for anything to approach.

@faerie_eclair_mallow I do believe we're under a policy of join anytime. I have a Sableye waiting to join the action, so once you make a post, your pokemon can meet up with my Sableye named Noah. If you like, that is. Just to spread the action.

Suicune:

"You found a cure?" The North Wind inquired. If Xerneas found a cure, that means they were one step closer to fixing their problem. Even so, they still had a long way to go. No one knew the full extent of the damage done so far.

My eyes fluttered open. I could hear a small rustling nearby. I got up. I turned into a charizard, then approached the bush. I then charged at it. I ended up crashing into another pokemon.

I cawed out loud. None of the other Legendarys would respond. I had to search for them instead. Entei couldn't be far away, so I had to be careful.(Wow! 3 Is in a row!)

Perhaps it was time I hypnotised a Legendary now. But finding them was harder. I called to Neon.
