This new rarity update

With this new rarity update, I was wondering if some of the creatures now aren't as rare anymore?

I mean, the Mo and Flaren were pretty low on the list if you ask me.. Did they increase in value? I just revieved some of my eggs and creatures because they were the rarest I had a few days ago..

I think the new rarity chart is based on how many of those creatures are currently 'alive'. So the more of them in existence, the less rare they are.

So probably in the future, if a large number of a retired species die before they reach immortality, the creature's rarity will increase to become rarer as they are fewer in existence now.

Likewise, if a common creature becomes even more common because more people steal their eggs from the cave, their rarity will decrease to be even more common as lots of them are around.

With this change, it was probably calculated that lots of Mos exist around the site which leads them to not be as rare as they used to be.

Plus one thing.. on the release dates, the creatures might be at the end.. but that does not mean that those creatures are rarer than Macbots/Doovoos. 😋

With Mos, there are plenty of them around, and always have been. Which is why they don't place low (or rare) on the list, but obtaining one in a cave is what makes them rare.

By that I mean they don't pop up often like other creatures (ie Tasmas, Floicols, etc.) and that is why they are considered rare.
