Angelina hissed, grabbing Jasper by his shoulder. She looked at him expectantly, waiting for an answer do her unposken question, and then she spoke in a hushed whisper.

Angelina said angrily, her eyes flashing gold. She restrained her talent because she didn't want to drain her own energy.

Valarie said, then she kicked back.

Jasper said distastefully.

Kirsten:

"What do you mean go first"

Kirsten asked cautiously. The question needed to be clearer. To her, 'go first' can mean almost everything.

Eera ran through the forest quietly and stopped at Jasper and Angelina. "There's another one" She said, "They just got another little girl." She looked at them and said, "You didn't know that already, did you?"

Lyv scented something. She began to follow the scent and pounced on a rabbit. She began to tear into it, eating it in a few bites. She growled, meaning to say, "Are we going?"

Angelina said to Eera, raising her eyebrows. Jasper's idea was a fine one, and, Angelina admitted to herself, she wouldn't mind practicing the painful part of her talent on the kitten.

"I mean, like, use your Talent first. Show us its uses. Here, I'll pretend to be a 'Bad-guy'."

Valarie said, and then she pulled out her katana. She didn't plan to actually hurt Kirsten, but she planned on getting close. She sprinted towards Kirsten.

Lily understood everything Olyvia said even if it sounded like a growl to everyone else. "So we're going to war now?" Lily asked Kirsten. Lily had never really thought about joining some kind of war, but it looked like she would be part of one now.

"Wow. I never actually thought about war. I wouldn't even have stayed in this school if it wasn't for Everlast. Well I don't mind helping out, but I can't fight, I only know how to ride animals. I guess I can get the animals to fight, Everlast would be a big help, but I've never been able to get her or some of the other animals out of their cages. If I had I wouldn't have stayed in this place", Lily thought of war and also started to bite her lips.

"I guess you can get most of them out, but I don't think you can get Everlast out. The lock on her cage is really complicated and rusty and really heavy and the only way to get her out is to get the three keys that open her lock. I have one of the keys, which I found hidden in the barn with the help of some of the animals, but except for that one I've only seen one other key and that was with the principle, who apparently is now gone. I don't know where the third key is and now I've kind of lost hope on freeing Everlast" Lily said sadly.

Valarie considered. Maybe the little girl would be useful in the war after all. Val had a feeling that the girl would be good with fighting when she was in some sort of feline form. Animal instinct is very useful these days.

"Look, Cat-Woman, we don't need to spy on them. We've got the upper hand if some of them have died. Most of their Talents seem pretty harmless. Who's going to win- the Hypnotist, who can get people to do whatever he wants, or Einstein, who may have a chance of boring us to death?"

Angelina said, her temper getting short. She was getting annoyed at Eera complaining all the time about not being appreciated. If the kids were getting ready to fight, then fight they would.

"That would be bad for her claws", Kirsten said, " We need something hot. Like 400 degrees"
