Let it Go: Elsa's Children

Spoiler alert for those of you who have not seen the movie Frozen! I highly suggest you go watch it before reading further. There will be things spoiled.



After the world thawed, Elsa's kingdom changed from cold and dark to a graceful mix between cool and warm, every day full of magic and bringing new surprises. Elsa got married to a handsome prince and had children. Many children. And she loved each child with her whole heart. However, they were born with a familiar trait. Some had black hair, some had white hair, blue eyes, brown eyes, but all of them... had a sort of tendency to freeze things. And with so many children, it was a bit of a handful...

Appearance: Long white hair and blue eyes, Ivory looks and acts a lot like her mother. She always wears turquoise dresses.
Other: Ivory is the eldest of her sisters, making her feel responsible for them most of the time. Her deepest fear is that she'll lose control of her ability like Elsa did in the past.

Appearence Long black hair, very pale skin and safira eyes. She is shy and polite with people that she doesn't know. Loves to play wih her brothers and sisters. And really like animals. Her hobby is drawing, painting and playing wih her magic. She is very responsible while studying. She hates the dark, at night she sleeps with a candle.

Appearance: Bright Ginger hair and Green eyes. Sydney loves to read books of romance and coming round to her cousins house. She is amazed by their magic and loves to write in her secret diary that she keeps far away from her cousin Ivory. Sydney doesn't want her to talk to everyone about her dreams and passions. Also, Sydney is an amazing fashion designer though she keeps that secret too!

Ivory sat in front of the fireplace, warming her hands up. She looked over to her mother, who was sitting in a chair a few feet away, reading a book. "Mother?" Ivory said suddenly.

"Yes, dear?" Elsa answered, still reading.

"What if I hurt someone someday with this magic?" Ivory asked.

Elsa looked up, "What do you mean?"

"I mean, what if I accidentally hurt one of my sisters, or cousins?" Ivory explained.

Setting her book down, Elsa stood up and walked over to Ivory. Bending down to reach her eye level, she held her hands. "Ivory, darling, you were born with a gift. As long as you love them, you won't hurt your sisters or your cousins. Feel, don't conceal." Elsa said with a smile, "I learned that the hard way, Aunt Anna can tell you about that." she laughed.

Ivory chuckled, "I know the story." she said.

By now Emily was preparing herself to sleep but she couldn't so she grabbed her little candle and went to the living room where her mother and sister having a conversation.

Ivory saw the dim light of a candle as Emily entered the living room. "Can't sleep?" she asked, walking to meet her. "Do you want to play a game to make you tired?"

Elsa smiled and went back to reading her book, "Just don't stay up too late, girls." she said.

Meanwhile, Sydney was at her home reading her faivourite book: Frozen. It was way past her bedtime but being the secretive girl she is, she stayed up. Sydney knew she would see her sisters tommorrow but she felt as though she wouldn't see them for a long time. "I just can't sleep!" she thought. She took a candle from her table and crept downstairs. Her mum, Anna was sitting by the fireplace, reading her old book.

"Mum, I can't sleep. It's worrying me again."Sydney whispered.

"What is? Oh, that." Her mum replied, putting down her book and beckoning her daughter to come closer. Sydney walked over and sat next to her mum on the sofa. "Remember," Anna said,"I told you about my life and the mornful history of Arendelle. Your life is a bit different. You don't have to conseal your secret from Ivory. She will understand as she goes through the same thing everyday."

"Not this again?" Called Kristoff as he entered their castle. "Come off it, we've already disscussed this, Sydney."

Sydney nodded and a single tear fell from her eyelash. "I know, Dad." Anna hugged her daughter close to herself and thought back to the times when Elsa had shut her out. Sydney couldn't stand it no longer. She walked away upstairs and cried into her pillow. Then she wrote in her diary the talk they just had and about how no one seems to understand her. Weeping, she cried herself to sleep with her diary under her pillow. Sydney would have to face her cousins Ivory and Emily tommorrow and just go act normal. Was it possible?

Sydney had a dreadful night. She had nightmares over and over again. She knew that till the morning, there was a lot of time to go but she couldn't help but want the time to go even slower.

"Sydney! Wake up or you're going to miss your taxi." came Kristoff's voice from the kitchen.
Sydney roled over in her bed and checked her clock. It was 6:30 in themorning. Sydney rubbed her eyes as she shuffled into the bathroom to wash. She put on her oronge strapy dress and high heels and tied a ribbon in her ginger hair which was, as always, curly and of waist-length. Sydney ambled downstairs where her mum, dad and Mathew were sitting at the dinner table.

"Morning mum. Morning dad. Hey Mathew." Sydney called to all her family." What's for breakfast?"

"Eggs and Bacon, sweetie." replied Anna placing her plate in front of her daughter. Sydney ate her breakfast in scilence that morning, thinking of the variouse activities she could do at her aunt's house to avoid her cousins. She sulkily said goodbye and sat in the taxi. Emily and Ivory would soon be very close and at the verge of discovering what Sydney was hiding the whole of her life.

Emily woke up and went to the kitchen, there she found Ivory eating breakfast " what are we going to do today??" She asked her sister "are we going to have magic class with mom??" Emily really wanted that her sister said yes. "And are we going to play sith sidney? Is she coming here today??" Emily was happy and drowning ivory with questions

Ivory rolled her eyes at her sister with a smile. "Every day doesn't have to start with fun." she said jokingly, "But, today we get to do magic class with mom, yes." she finished with a chuckle. "Though, I'm not sure if Sydney is coming today. She usually just comes by as a surprise."

Sydney was standing outside the castle. It was a lot nicer than she could remember it. She stood there thinking, "staying with my aunt and cousins for a whole month! I am just so being abandoned."
Sydney ambled up the stone drawbridge and knocked on the door. Scilence. "Maybe, the've gone!" thought Sydney excitedly pulling out her phone from her bag, about to call her mum and say it was called off, but no luck. Bailey the servant opened the gates and took her inside. Sydney hastedly put on her matching orange gloves on as Bailey turned the handle of the living room. He was pushing the door aside but it seemed to be happening in slow motion...

Ivory stood up excitedly and walked swiftly to greet her cousin. "Sydney, it's so good to see you! You get to stay for a whole month? That's great!" she said. Though after she said this, she noticed that Sydney didn't seem so excited to be here. She was going to ask her what was wrong, but decided it'd be best to ask later, probably when they were sitting somewhere quietly. But Emily might not allow them to do that for a long time, she always kept Sydney busy playing games when she was visiting.

Sydney was being hugged tightely by Emily. "Hello Emms. Ivory." Sydney waved a little in her cousins direction. "Nice to see you." Although she said this, Sydney looked away, hoping to escape to her room and lock herself up. Ivory looked hurt but Sydney couldn't do anything to help her - she was feeling the same, but worse.
"May I take your suitcase, Princess Sydney?" Asked Bailey. Sydney nodded and went upstairs closley followed by a bounding Emily and a worried looking Ivory. Sydney hoped that Ivory wouldn't bring up the whole "why are you so sad" business and leave her alone. The last thing she heard before she closed the door was a sweet voice calling, "Sydney? Are you alright?" and herself collapsing in great sobs onto the king size bed...

WHen Ivory asked what was wrong with sidney emily realised that she wasn't ok. Emily put a caring hand on sydney shoulder "cousin are you sad?" She asked with a very serious expression and worried eyes, she didn't like it when people were sad.

"Emily, I think Sydney might need some time to herself." Ivory said to her sister, leading her away from Sydney's room. "Let's go... play a game." Though as much as she wanted to let Sydney work out her own problem, she had an incredible urge to see if she could do something to help.
