I'm in a couple possibly good ones right now you might be able to join. If they get gross, I'll probably quit them. Good rps are hard to come by on eggcave, sadly.

Yeah, and the ones that do appear are always very similar. There isn't much variety right now. I would start one of my own but I am lacking ideas as of now.

Also I suggested a RP to @chapus2009 a little while back, I'm still working out the kinks, but once I get it all refined and perfect I'll describe a little of it here, if that's alright with the creator of course, but we have to wait for them to get back so....

@poe Well we got a basic plot outline, the outline, and the idea for the characters, but that's it. We still needed rules an actual plot, and things like that. The things that make an RP an RP.

I thought the plot was fine, we just need to make a short version for a board post, and I suppose we need rules, too. I'm pretty much all for standard rp etiquette, and I don't think I require any further rules, personally. What else did you want to add?
(May as well discuss rules and forms and stuff here, right?)

I'd also prefer if we added a literacy rule, and a character limit, but along with that the common RP etiquette rules.
And then the form. But a common one, I'm just not sure how to make one O_o

Oh, yes, literacy rules are nice. In that respect, I just like full sentences. None of this *eats popcorn* stuff. People should really just write, "they ate popcorn" or whatever tense they're using. Lol I'd be fine with a few spelling or grammatical errors, but it should be easy to read still. It's only an issue if the errors start making it hard to read.

I'll agree with a character limit.

And I guess we need something like:
Name, gender, avian species the character is based off, brief description of appearance, brief description of personality/a few traits, and an other section just in case. I feel like I'm missing something.

@poe Yes, and when they signed up for the army. And as for rules,/form should we add a sample RP, to see how they right nad add having to post at least like 3 sentences or something? I don't really like 1-liners.

I dunno... I personally find it a pain to write sample rps, especially because that means I have to do one for this (lol) but I suppose they're a good thing to have if we want to be picky. I dunno.

As for post length, I don't want to force a minimum, but a rule about a reasonable length would be good. The reason I don't like length rules is just that it gets awkward when people are interacting, because naturally a conversation between characters uses less text per post.

Aw. I've got one or two here that are decent, but the one I'm enjoying most is actually using tumblr for the rp. We came up with a neat concept and we make all our posts there.

This one, and I don't know if @featherstar_stormclan is taking new people, so you could always ask her on this board if you're interested, since she's part of this guild, too.

And I'm part of a warriors based rp just for kicks and something to do, because I do prefer people rps. Not that I dislike it. It's got a decent array of characters.

I'm pretty sure both of these are open to new people. New people might make them more active, too, if you're interested.

Yeah, I have a few going on I'm going to make a new one about Shapeshifters and one about human-animal splices, once a few others die down I'm on. There's a few warriors one's but hardly any are literate, I found one be @emilianagerson her RP's tend to be good.

@poe Do you wanna come up with rules for our RP and then put it up? Also should the main people be called Wyverns or winged-serpents, I was looking for winged serpents and it gave me a list of other names.
