Mother/EarthBound Based Animal/Human RP

Is there at least someone out there besides me and @bot willing to join? ;-; Or at least know about Mother?

~Remember Giygas' arrival to earth in Mother/EB0 causing some animals and humans to somehow gain PSI/PK abilities? Well, this RP is about those who had gained them, or had them passed down to them from their relatives. Both those humans and animals; wild or domesticated. Oh, and you may also RP as a character with no PSI if you prefer. You know, like some dude's pet cat. Some school girl. Up to you.~
I don't really have a storyline worked out yet. I'm thinking of havig a couple posts of everyone getting to know each other first, anyway.

~RULES~
We all gotta have them.

• Please, no godmodding/Mary sue/Gary sue/whatever they call them nowadays. Basically, no making your character overpowered. It doesn't make the RP any fun, and annoys people. So, please dfon't.
• No vulgar/bad language. Well, EC does censor those words. I'll put this rule in anyway, why not. X3
• A limit of 5 PSI abilities of each category (assist and offensive) for each character. However, you are allowed to have a character with only assist/offensive abilities. c:
• You may have as many characters as you can handle. Honestly, I don't mind.
• Please, try to be at least a little literate. If your English isn't the greatest, I can happily correct mistakes. Yay. XD
• Probably the most important rule of all. Have fun. ^-^

~PSI/PK ABILITIES~
Call them whichever one you prefer.

~ASSIST~
4th-D Slip - Flee a battle with, usually, 100% success.
Brainshock - Confuse an opponent.
Darkness - Surrounds an opponent with a dark cloud (I guess), blinding them.
Healing - Heals a status ailment, except unconsciousness. (I fear that people may abuse this in an RP if I allowed it to. XD)
Hypnosis - Puts an opponent to sleep.
Lifeup - Heals an ally, restoring a limited amount of HP.
Paralysis - Paralyses/numbs an opponent.
Flash - Inflicts a random status ailment onto an opponent.
Beta - Poisons an opponent.
Shield - Surrounds allies with a shield that protects from damage for a limited amount of time.

~OFFENSIVE~
Fire - Shoots fire from their fingers to attack multiple opponents at a time. May cause burns.
Thunder - Shocks opponents around the user with a thinderbolt. May cause paralysis.
Freeze - Surrounds an opponent in a sheer cold wind. May freeze.
Rockin - A rarely seen attack that can have the potential to do massive damage.
Starstorm - A rarely seen attack that causes massive damage to all opponents.
Ground - Deals lower amounts of damafe, bur attack all opponents. May trip an opponent up.
Love - A rarely seen attack that causes massive damage to one opponent.
(If you abuse (e.g. use them over and over with no limit) any PSI ability, I will be forced to give each ability some kind of usage limit.)

Age: I don't really know, but she was once a human who was 13. She was friends with Ninten at one point.

Personality: Flighty with rather bad memory, kind of rash, and absolutely hates people who seek to harm her friends. She eats more than she should and her favorite food is magic cake.

Appearance: A Gie who has blond hair (Gies with hair are rare) and headphones. Her eyes are teal and her legs are mechanical (she was captured by Porky and was partially turned into a chimera)

Gender: Female

Age: 13/14. But she's far less mature than her age suggests.

Personality: A quirky tomboy who always ruins dramatic moments with something stupid/immature. She's got a bit of a temper and she absolutely despises being called Jennifer (GET THAT IFER OFF MY NAME BISHES >:C). She acts really tough but is just as weak and vulnerable as anyone else. She's Jeff Andonuts' slightly younger sister.

Appearance: A rather attractive young girl with freckles and thick, gently auburn hair that goes down to her shoulders. She has large, thick, round glasses that prevent anyone from seeing her large blue eyes in certain light conditions. She wears the Snow Wood School uniform. She has a fairly major overbite, but not enough to make her look stupid.

Sorry if my characters are slightly unoriginal.

Fae looked down defiantly at her new legs. She clumsily stumbled towards the Pigmask, towering over the puny human. She casted a withering glare, her teal eyes beginning to well up with the pain of the mechanical legs grating against her bones.

"God, why did you have to do that? My old legs worked fine. Good job putting a creature that could easily obliterate you into unnecessary pain."

The Pigmask looked up nervously. Fae was at least four feet taller than him, so he had every right to be frightened. He was trembling in his shiny black boots.

"U-umm, it was because..." He muttered worriedly, "Y-you had to be in... P-perfect condition to w-work with us..!"

The young Gie slumped over in despair. Her tail twitched angrily.

"Well, thanks a lot." She grumbled sarcastically, "I'm OH SO GLAD to have these WONDERFUL new legs."

Her huge tail curled around her mechanical legs. She drooped her ears and crossed her giant white arms defiantly, giving the look of a small child pouting.

"First I was turned into a Gie, which is bad enough, and now THIS?" She suddenly let out a roar of frustration. A Gie's roar is no ordinary roar. It's decibels reach well over 200, and practically paralyzes you in fear. It has been described in the past as 'Stripping away your very existence, tearing at your soul.'

The Pigmask jumped, and fled rather speedily, leaving Fae alone in her cell. She burned part of the sterile, white wall in frustration, to no avail. The wall was impenetrable. The rash Pigmask had left the door ajar, so she could easily escape.

Naw, she thought, I'd better not get into any more trouble this time. I'll escape later, maybe at night.

Suddenly a rather young looking soldier with a silver mask on, some strands of bright orange hair showing, stormed into the room. His stare looked so intimidating yet empty at the same time that it completely revolted Fae.

"You," he said, monotonously, "Have no right to disrespect a member of King Porky's army. You must come with me, test subject #042."

Fae cast a defiant glance, as she is known to do, and crossed her arms stubbornly. "No!" She stormed, "I don't wanna!"

The Masked Man seemed somewhat appalled, even slightly amused at the Gie's unwillingness to cooperate. He smirked, however blankly, and pulled out a shining golden sword... Resembling a needle..?

"I said," he commanded, "That you need to come with me. Please do not force me to harm you in any manner."

Fae shakily stood up. She shifted into a battle stance, and glared playfully.

"You are ON." She growled.


The rest was all a blur. All Fae could remember was being thrashed about, stabbed by the needle, and ultimately standing no chance.

She woke up in a dark room, entrapped by gloomy looking brick walls and a barred door. She was in a room with a young boy whose blond hair covered his eyes.

"Hi." he said confidently, "I'm Picky."

Fae tilted her head in confusion. "Picky? What are you picky about?"

The boy seemed to be somewhat crossed at Fae's general stupidity. "No," he corrected her, "My NAME is Picky. I'm Porky's little brother."

Fae seemed even more confused. "I keep hearing that name. Who's Porky? Seems kinda like a fatty to me."

Picky giggled childishly. His positive laughter seemed to light up the room. "Says the girl who ate five pounds of magic cake today." He smiled sweetly.

What a nice kid, Fae thought to herself. She smiled as well, but it didn't look very pleasant with all those pointy teeth. "How did you know about that? I fell asleep after I ate that cake. Were you THERE??" Fae pondered.

"Oh, of course I wasn't there." He explained, "Lots of us prisoners know the events of the Empire Porky. It's like a verbal newspaper. Everybody 'reads' it."

Fae rolled her eyes. "Enough talk about newspapers and whatnot. Who's this Porky guy?"

Picky beamed. "I don't think I can explain it very well. You're just going to have to see him in person." Picky said, "No one really knows the story exactly. Not even me, his brother!"

They both laughed for a bit, and then sat in silence. The everescent silence, which seemed to be an almost tangible presence, looming overhead.

Soooooooo do you like it? ovo This takes place before Claus's death, and both Fae and Picky were stolen from the past. Jenn was also from the past (Jeff is in it too!), but you'll have to wait and see~!

MEANWHILE, IN WINTERS (Jeff is 15 now, as with the other party members)

Jenn had been put in detention. AGAIN. She was always getting in trouble, and was quite a lackluster student. Her eyes were furiously scanning the pages of the horribly girly sounding 'Princess Bride', a book that she swore that she would never, ever read.

"Bah. This is dumb." She moaned. She was completely fed up with this nonsense. She nabbed a pen off of the desk beside her, as she was in a completely empty room, and started doodling. She drew all kinds of things, from wizards to fish to mockeries of her own brother, in her notebook labelled 'language arts'. She had not a single thing to do with boring old language arts in the whole book.

The bell rang, and Jenn simply strolled out of the room. She was definitely not one for running. Since the school day was over, she goose-stepped around the halls, looking for something to make some mischief with, but to no avail.

She swung open the door, and yelled, "BOO!" at the top of her lungs. Jeff, being the spineless wimp that (Jenn thought) he is, jumped, dropping his pencil on the floor. Tony simply shrugged and said, "Hey Jenn. Nice one! I always like to see him do that."

Evidently, Jeff was helping Tony with some geometry homework, but Tony was obviously paying no attention (probably staring at those awesome glasses. Good looks certainly ran in the family). Jeff rolled his eyes (probably, it was hard to see through those glasses) and sighed. "You always know how to make it hard for me."

Jenn giggled, and started doodling, once again, in her textbook.

Nightfall soon passed, and when both of her roommates fell asleep, she snuck out the door. She had always loved the gentle coolness of the snow penetrating through her shiny black shoes. She strolled along as the licorice-colored sky lit up with stars. She was walking in the general direction of her father, Dr. Andonuts' house, so she decided to go ahead and visit.

She walked farther and farther, and suddenly jumped. A huge Gie was blocking her path! It was still alive, but it seemed to have been through a lot. It slowly opened it's gentle crimson eye. She stepped back. She had never seen a Gie before.

The Gie shakily stood up. Heavily panting, it said in a feminine voice, "Get away from me... I don't want you to do to me... What you humans did to Fae..."

Suddenly, it leaped into the air and shot up towards the sky. She decided against venturing further after all. She warily walked towards the school and met Jeff, outside the door.

"Where were you?" He puffed, "I was looking all over the school for you. Come back NOW."

Ruby stopped after a while. She just floated in the sky, looking up at the stars that filled the night. The girl from earlier suddenly came into thought. Since she saw what happened with Fae, she was pretty afraid of humans altogether. It wasn't always like this. She used to know tons of friendly humans, but they've all... gone somewhere, perhaps. She looked around the sky, admiring the beauty of the crescent-shaped moon. Moonlight reflected off her red eyes and shone on her body. Ruby couldn't get the girl out of her head. The Gie's ears drooped, making her look like some kind of sad puppy. Even her tail was drooped. She looked back down to fhe ground. Although there was no one there, Ruby just kept on staring.

Jenn tossed in turned in the little bed that the school provided. She couldn't stop thinking about the Gie. Those striking crimson eyes... Gah! No. I have to sleep. I can't just think and such. It'll do it no good, and it needs help. Screw my classes, I'm going to help that Gie, whether it likes it or not!

She eventually drifted off to sleep, but it wasn't a regular sleep. It was one of those awful, fragile, dreamless, somewhat conscious sleeps that leave you exhausted and bruised in the morning. And dear god, this one was worse than any other.

Jenn abruptly woke up, bags under her eyes. It was 5:00 AM, earlier than the alarm was set for. Perfect time to sneak out, while Jeff and Tony were asleep. Lazy bums.

She bravely ventured out, in her pajamas, with nothing even remotely civilized except her awkward horn-rimmed glasses. Snow sparkled around her, providing some hind of hope within her. She was no longer scared.

The Gie was sitting peacefully, just outside Brick Road's easy-to-navigate dungeon. She was staring wistfully out towards the school, as if waiting for Jenn. Jenn brashly stepped forth, and yelled, "HEY! You! Come back here!"

The Gie perked up. "Oh, it's you. I was looking for you." She calmly spoke, "I'm not afraid of you anymore. You don't seem to have any desire to hurt me." Jenn seemed appalled at the idea. "Hurt you? Why would I do that? I wanted to HELP you." She muttered grimly.

"Well, a friend of mine had something horrible happen to her because of a particularly nasty group of humans." She said, "It's a long story."

"It was horrible. The group of humans surrounded us, and demanded we folowed them. Fae refused, and this masked guy with an orange sword thing... oh, it was terrible... I flew away while they were distracted with Fae, but I watched them take her away when I was at a safe enough distance..."
She looked down to the ground. A small tear escaped from her eye. She looked back up to the girl, trying tl hide her sadness. It wasn't like her to act like this.
(No, no more of the story... get back to your cheerier state, Ruby...) the Gie thought.

Jenn gave an anguished wince. She knew what was going to happen in the story, she had heard of the Pigmasks and their Masked soldier, and she knew they were awful people indeed.

"Go on. I'm pretty sure I know what happened. Seems like one heII of a traumatizing event." She sighed, "Where is she now? I'm ditching classes today and I wanna help. What's your name anyway? I'm Jenn."

"I'm Ruby." Ruby scratched her non-existant scalp. "I think she's locked in a cell in the Empire Porky Building. It's not even in this country, though, so we need to plan before heading out so rashly." A tension suddenly appeared in the air as she was talking, and Ruby seemed to be very in tune with it, as if it was something she could directly hear.

"Ah." She sighed, "I think it's a message from Fae. She IS locked in a cell in the Empire Porky Building, just as I suspected. She says she has a roommate that's 12 years old, that's about your age, Jenn."

Jenn perked up at the thought of someone the same age as her. She had been living with stupid Jeff and Tony for most of her life, so she was sick of older kids. "No! We're going today. I don't like hanging with stupid Jeff and his stupid friend Tony. They're both stupid." She insisted, "I'll go steal some food from the cafeteria."

She rushed to the cafeteria, and stole as much Super-Spicy-Pepper-Nacho-Burritos as she could. She absolutely loved spicy foods. Ruby was astonished with Jenn's strength. She brought exactly 29 of them, probably enough to make you literally breathe fire, as well as two water canteens.

"See? I told you we could prepare quickly!" She stated matter-of-factly.

"Well," Ruby laughed, "I don't think you should be adventuring in your pajamas. Go get something more suitable on."

Yay. I did a cheesy bit about prepping for an adventure. This is my first RP so don't get mad at my mutual stupidity xD

Ruby sat down on the stump of an old cut down tree, waiting for Jenn to return from getting changed into 'more appropriate clothes for adventure'. She folded one of her legs over another, and curled her tail around the stump. Her boredom wasn't slow with kicking in, and the bored Gie let out a sigh of... boredom. Her ears twitched around like some kind of animal, listening to the few sounds made in the silence of the night.
(Assuming that Jenn went back inside to get changed. X3)

"Hey!" A familiar voice came out of the bushes. Ruby, shocked at hearing the voice of a seemingly lost friend, jumped. A pale Gie with blue eyes and bleached blond hair poked her head out of the bush. "Check this out, Ruby!" Fae turned her head to the side, showing a headphone-like device. "Pretty neat, huh? I stole this neat thing from the humans!"

Ruby, her eyes bugged out in surprise, finally said, "Fae! Y-you're alive!" Fae puffed out her chest proudly. "Yup! And I brought back this little dude over here. Ain't he cute?" A young boy with long, blond hair that covered his eyes popped out of the bush. "H-hello, miss Ruby! I'm Picky!"

Both of them stepped out of the bush. "This little kid saved my life! Can you believe it?" Fae boasted, "He's apparently got PSI and... WHAMMO! He PSI Teleported us RIGHT OUT OF THERE! He's a prodigy!"

Just then, Jenn, in a strapping Snow Wood uniform, strutted into the scene. "Woah," she said, "Who the heII are these guys?" Ruby smiled sweetly, and explained, "Jenn, this is my friend Fae, the Gie we were going to save. The young boy is Picky, a young PSI user." Picky was taken aback by Jenn. Sure he had crushes before, but this girl was special. He managed to spit out the words, "H-hey... I-I'm Picky... I... Uh... Hi."

Jenn giggled a bit. Ruby interrupted, "All right, enough. Since we already have Fae and Picky with us, our quest was rendered pointless. But, we should also pursue defeating the pigmask army, after what they did to Fae. Jenn, tell your brother that we're leaving. Tell him the whole story. I've heard he is quite powerful with a good weapon, so maybe he should tag along. Fae and Picky, try to set up a base around here. I'll come up with a decent plan. Everybody, go!"

Ruby watched the others get on with their jobs. But, yes, she had to contribute to this, too. She tried to think up at least a decent enough plan. They could sneak in. ...Nah, too cheap. Maybe even obvious. But, it was a good enough base for the plan. Maybe Picky could help in some kind of way. He could maybe have at least some knowledge of this place. Her tail swung in the air like a cat as she thought. She even mumbled a few words out loud without knowing.
"We could... yes, we... hmm... good... oh, no... but... hah..."

Appearance: Almost exactly like the happy-happyist in http://askahappycultmember.tumblr.com/ but she has black hair. And headphones. Blue headphones 😋

"Boo!" A blue figure jumped out of the snow as Ruby was thinking. "I was eavesdropping, blue blue!" Ruby fell over in surprise. She was so lost in thought that she completely forgot about anything going on around her. "GAAAAH!" She screeched as she toppled into the snowbank.

"Did I scare you, blue blue? Haha, of course I did. I scare everyone, blue blue!" The blue girl smiled mischievously. "Those pink-suited pork-for-brains losers? You're trying to beat them? They've been our enemies for years, blue blue! I want to help!" She pulled the mask over her head. "Blue blue blue!"

Ruby, still flabbergasted, managed to puff out the words, "Gaah, who.. Are you?" The happy-happyist girl cackled, her laughter muffled slightly by her mask. "I'm Shiloh, blue blue. I'm part of the cult! Blue!" She pulled out a can of blue paint. "And the Pigmasks, are our next target! Blue blue!"

Ruby sighed, "Ugh. You're a strange kid, but sure. You can assist us. You go befriend the rest of us. That should do for now." Shiloh smiled. "Fine. I'll go ahead." And she stormed off.

LATER

Jeff decided to tag along with the group. He WAS the smartest, after all. "So Shiloh," he pondered, "What's the big deal about blue?" "Well, it's the happiest color, blue blue. What's not to like?" She said. By then, they were pretty far into their journey. They had set up camp for the night. Fae, Jenn, and Shiloh seemed to get along great, always joking around with eachother. They had made it to Lake Tess and were getting along fine with the researchers.

When Nightfall came, Ruby had used her elite PSI skills to build some very fancy tents. By the time everyone was fast asleep, Shiloh got out her paint, and proceeded to paint on everyone's faces as a prank. Once she was finished painting moustaches and google eyes on everyone's faces, she went to sleep, satisfied.

Ruby had awoke in the middle of the night. She had a pretty weird dream, irrelevant to anything that had just happened to her. She looked around the tent, seeing everyone still asleep. It was pretty dark, but there was enough light for Ruby to realise that the sun had risen a little. She quietly wandered outside, looking down at the ground to see the dew sparkling in the very limited light. There was a puddle on the ground, and Ruby thought she saw something rather strange being reflected. Using PK Fire to illuminate the puddle with the flame, she spotted a moustache painted on her face and something painted onto her eyes.
(Pfft, really? Jeez, more childish than me. And I love doing stuff like this...)
The Gie washed the paint off her face using the small amount of water in the puddle. She looked up to the sky, noticing the fact that the sun had risen just a little bit more since she last looked. She wandered back into the tent and curled up, trying to get back to sleep.
