Archives Suggestion

I really do like the new overhaul that the Archives has, but there is one thing that just sticks out for me.

The cave background behind all of the creatures really makes the page look very cluttered. Could you guys possibly remove it? It does take away from the design of the creatures. It looked much better with the white before. Thanks for reading!

Yeah, I agree. The cave background distracts from the creatures. I liked it better with a white background x3

Hi Hai. [xD] Sorry for the late replies! ^^;;
And yes, I do agree.
As much as I adore the new statistics for each creature, as well as their detailed descriptions, their backgrounds are very distracting to look at.

At first I thought only creatures originated from the Cave would get that background, turns out every creature does! xD Which is kinda contradicting, since that ruin the whole idea of creatures' habitats thing.

I'd definitely prefer transparent backgrounds. Neat and simple.

However, if there had to be backgrounds on creatures, I suggest Ian, as well as the moderating team, find appropriate backgrounds that fit each creature's habitat.
Though it'd be a lot of hard work selecting and putting all of the different backgrounds on 324 species. xD
So yeah, transparent backgrounds FTW \m/

Sorry for the long post, and I hope more people will support the idea! 8D

I do agree on how the new background makes the profile a busier look.

I also wanted to add how the information of where the creature can be found in Ark are very useless.
Instead, it should be organized by what month a certain monthly and/or CSP creature came out.

For example, February would show all creatures that were or is currently available in either the CSP or the cave.

I don't know. I felt this would be an easier search to me.
Don't kill me.

Hmm, I don't know, maybe it's useless, but it's fun to read haha! xD Gives excitement and fascination to me.

And yeah, I think that's an idea. But it's kinda messy that way, I guess?
I mean, we've already known when the creatures were [or are] available by the information shown in their profiles.
Putting the creatures released in the same months but different years without categorizing them into Cave/CSP/Event/Plot, etc just makes the whole thing more confusing to me.

I hope that makes sense haha! o.O
My explanation seems old.

@hai I think this is a great idea. It DOES seem busy, but I think the staff we`re just trying to make it less dull.

If we had to have a background I`d want it to be in the creature`s habitat like @sony said.

Except for those two things, I love how the creature`s profiles are set up. ❤️
