Okay, first of all you scanner your picture ... it's normal it is light ... when scanning there should be the options for "light and contrast" ... you should operate those options as you see fit to darken the colours.
If you want to do it in the best way, open the drawing with photoshop/the gimp/any graphical program and go to Image > adjustments > curves ... then grab the curve and drag slightly downward: it should make the colours darken. 😊

firstly, can it be a line drawing, like on real paper and not online? i love your fresh drawing works. 😊

as for the pose, you can chose! i'll let you look and use your creative talents on how to make it looks amazing. 😃

also, you can choose whether to colour it or not, i'm not sure if the colours in this will be too complicated?

and in case you are like... what the heck is this, in the game, Jak is the human and Daxter is the Ottsel (weasel x otter) and in the first game, there is this substance called Dark Eco and it changes life forms (like real creatures into the 'Metal Heads') and Daxter fell into it, turning him from a human into an Ottsel... (at the end of the final game you find out that the Precursors, creator of all the planets, were actually Ottsels, so Daxter was blessed with becoming one and not cursed! and well yeah, in the game he's really funny. whoever wrote the script is a God lol. 😋

Whoa, it was my first time drawing someome like Daxter ... he sure it's cute. x3 But I wanted to do it in a ... well, particular pose, with a weapon by his side and ready to fight, but aware he's gonna win. 😃
I don't really know his personality but I imagined him being ... well, the adjective starting with "b" in the drawing's profile. xD

oh my god Rage! it's so perfect ;o; i love the way you've fitted his personality from the game and everything. ❤️ the colouring is amazingly done too. 😃

and you've drawn the Blaster Mod gun perfectly! ;o; even I struggle to draw the guns, they are so complex (not hard for me to not be able to draw well lol 😋)

I can't actually explain how much I love this, you know how mad I am over Jak and Daxter! thankyou ever so much Rage, now, you must take Xene as payment. :>

Awww I'm really happy you like it, really! ❤️ I was actually pretty scared you wouldn't like it so much 'cause ... well I didn't know Daxter's personality at all. xD
And ahah I'm not very goot at drawning guns as well. Well, not by myself. D: If I didn't saw a picture on google images I wouldn't be able to do it. xD

Hey, thanks for the nice words! Actually, I'm not the best on shading things myself. xD I just try to imagine how it would be in real life, but I make a lot of mistakes and my shading is not so good, I think.
The best thing I can say to you is to go on DeviantArt and digit "shading tutorial": there are a lot of useful tutorials on that site, and reading and watching them will make both of us to improve. 😊
