What do you think?

I think Egg Cave should do a change in the way of feeding, something like there should be an option in the profile of the user where it would say "Feed creatures" then all the creatures would get in one column and to the right of each creature it would have the button "Feed". That way you wouldn't have to click Next creature, neither have to open multiple tabs.

@mejary
Agreed.
I hate feeding because I have to open a lot of tabs, and it just ends up lagging my computer.
I know the moderators will say "You have to work hard to earn EC," but is lagging my computer to the point of crashing called working hard?

I hope this gets implemented

@mejary
It's a good idea but the only problem with it is that EC would decrease in value as it would be quicker to gain.

@mastergemma
EC has already decreased in value considerably ever since people figured out how to trade CC.
The shops and auctions were put into EC to help increase the EC value. It's pretty fair, and EC has gained a lot of value.
I don't think that the EC value will deflate all that much, with the Library and the auctions still being quite popular.
And besides, people with 200 coves+ will still be hard to feed because it'll still lag pulling up all the images and things.

@newlife

You don't need to open all creatures while feeding. For slower computers better way is to open only part of the cove, feed those creatures then open other part 😸

@paranoiac i do that too 😸 but still after a time my computer starts to lag

@mejary
It's a good idea ... I think EggCave should have a more fast way to feed ecpecially because for getting 100k ECs you gotta feed like a lot of creatures, and many users doesn't have so much time to do it anyways. 😊
I would love to see, one day, something like the feed way in the site called GPX plus ... did you ever saw it? After clicking to feed a creature the page load really quickly the next creature of that user ... it's a really fast way to click, you just need to keep your curson in that place and click click click every time the page loads the next creature to feed. *w*
I also support the creation of something a feed exchange in the site as well. I know it's hard to make something like that and to work with codes ... but let me wish anyways. xD

@wererage thanks 😸 oh wow it would be nice too, because sometimes it takes a while for the feed button to load and put that you fed the creature so sometimes when i'm feeding fast i skip some creatures because of that problem

@mejary
It's a thing that happens to me as well D:
It's annoying then to get back and click all again to feed the ones you missed ahah. xD

@paranoiac
I don't open all of them at once- I would lag for an eternity
Only opening 2-3 tabs lags my computer pretty bad. I can open other things, even open more tabs of it, and it wouldn't lag my computer that bad
Eggcave is too code heavy now, making it take longer to open things, and especially a monsterous ordeal to feed.
I've been on here for 2 and a half years, don't think I'm being rude but, I know how to feed, and I know what my own computer can take.
That's why I hate when people feed my cove, because it's small and their coves have 200+ creatures even if they have cove lists, it'll take me awhile to feed back anyways because Eggcave is so code heavy

@newlife

Yeah, that can be a problem :C My friend had to quit 'cause of slow internet and Egg Cave being hard to load.

It would be better if they found a way to make feeding easier for users with slower computers, but not to make it too easy so EC loses in value.

Bringing all these new features makes EC more valuable, so now Egg Cave could help us somehow 😸

I agree, even with snap links, it's very time consuming to feed. Especially now that cove sizes can be expanded to 300+ creatures.

@hybridrainbow
Snap links? What are those?
Also yes, I've seen coves with more than 500 creatures, and I just sit there going, I can't feed this within an hour, never mind a day..

@newlife
It's like this add on/extension for browers:
Hold the left mouse button to select multiple links by drawing a selection rectangle around them, releasing the button will open them in background tabs.
Yeah, my ipad can't handle coves that big and safari ends up crashing before like 1/3 of the creatures load.

I agree. Feeding takes way to much time! My parents only let me on the computer for 2 hours a day, so to visit the asteroid, cave, auction house, tim's, trading center and talk to my friends in 2 hours doesn't leave me with much time. Plus, the highest amount of EC I've ever had is 700k! I see users with over 170 mil EC when I can barely get 100k! And, since i'm a newbie, EC is what I use to get my creatures, cuz I don't have anything rare in my Cove. It's quite frustrating! >~<

@mejary Agreed!
whether or not they do it exactly this way or another, I would love to see this happen. If they upgrade feeding to something more simple and time efficient, I'd be on this site more. I hardly log on because I have 70+ eggs and I hate feeding them. Also earning EC by feeding other coves is time consuming as well. The page takes a while to load and its just a hassle to me.
