no notifications?

I don't get any notifications from pinging, comments on my profile, friend requests, sometimes from topics. but i don't know about trades, mails and other things since i haven't gotten any today =/

is this happening to all? i saw that even Ian didn't receive the ping notification (well, i did see it when i pressed the notification button but not as an event)

it did appear in my notification page, and now all notifications started to appear as normal O_o

I'm having this same problem. I see all the notifications on the notification page, but I don't actually get a notification about the event. Not sure if that makes sense or not.

@smilies yeah I agree.. and also i wish they would follow your screen if you scroll down so you can see it.. It would be cool if it made a pinging noise too!

What browser are you using?

Also, per this topic, Notification pop ups now display twice as long before disappearing. 😉

well, i use firefox, but now the notifications appear perfect ^^ EXCEPT that friend AND trade notifications NEVER pop up O_o notifications about posts on my wall appear once for each ten posts :/

@phoenix if you dont want to check a topic, you can subscribe by clicking the heart with a green plus. it sends a notification each time somebody posts

@redfire77 i have already subscribed on topics, and now it sends notifications for those perfectly fine, but trade and friend notifications doesn't even appear in the notification page O_o

it sounds like this has been somewhat resolved... let me know if you guys run into any more issues (just create another topic).

as an extra note, the v1 and v2 notifications systems are NOT integrated. if an event happens on v1, you will not receive a notification in v2 (and vice versa). this is not a bug.

@Ian the friend and trade notifications have been fixed, though, i don't know if they appear as pop ups since i usually get them when i am offline and they don't appear because the pop up list is too long, but they do appear on the notification page!
