"Hey, stop your screaming," was the statement she heard. Great, I've ticked someone off already. What else could go wrong? I kept shaking my head back and forth, too scared to look up at the voice.A few minutes later, (or possibly longer) another voice approached. It was friendly. Welcoming, even. "Welcome to the Dreamscape," a close voice caressed. But wait--Dreamscape? That'd better be a nearby town. I don't feel like wondering about it now. I just need some reassurance. I looked up at the cordial figure... only to find out that it's a lion whispering in my ear."I really am insane," I accidentally said out loud. I looked at the lion curiously. I didn't know what to think in that moment.

@nynjahpandagurl Last I checked it was Kelep who spoke to Kiera and he's a lion. @leafdapple769 @spiritkoi @poeAlyss smiled to herself in the dark. "You're welcome." She murmured as she focused on keeping hte rocks up./Can't sleep while holding these things up.\ She thought glumly. /Maybe I'll force someone to carry me as a lynx at night while I sleep.\ She added as an after thought.

He wasn't tired, unfortunately. From the edge he leaned against, he noticed Alyss looked like she had no intentions of sleeping. In fact, she seemed very focused."You look exceptionally fixated, Alyss." Agni stated.

@poe @nynjahpandagurl @leafdapple769 @dramaticAlyss looked up at Agni, shocked for a moment. His words slowly registered in her mind and she shook her head to clear it."I guess I am." She murmured. "It's just I'm not entirely sure how or even why we're here. Thought no one else was awake decided to ponder it." She lied keeping her eyes focused on her hands as she sat down and clasped them in her lap.

To prove his point he pricked his hand on a pricker bush, drawing a small amount of blood. "See?"{Aisha}Though, Alyss had gotten them out of the heat, she had put them in the cold. Aisha shivered, frowning. /This is a DREAM! I shouldn't be cold!/ she thought.Opening my eyes, I realized everything was bright as day! The rocks that were sheltering them didn't dim the light like it should've. Aisha could see Alyss and Agni, as if it were daylight. "Gah!" she yelped in surprise. /Did I just find my power?/

She clacked her beak in annoyance. Cora whipped her head back to the girl. You are coming with me to meet the others. She then shielded her thoughts and thought to herself, This girl is so much more annoying than that wolf one from that group. Ugh..~Kay~"Ah, what's with the bright light!" He quickly covered his eyes to avert the light. "Aisha, did you do this?" Agni's powers were speed and venom, Alyss's was summoning. Me? Kay was pretty sure he hadn't shown signs of any kind of power.

"This all happened when I opened my eyes!!{Kelep}I frowned at Cora. "Nobody asked you to come here either, worm beak!" Kelep turned back to the girl. "Ignore her, I`ll bring you back to my friends, and we talk."

Something inside me made me trust him, so I just rolled with it. Explanation is all I really needed right now. I wanted to say something else to break the silence, so I uttered, "Thank you.."

Agni suggested, keeping a straight face. "Our minds are just rapidly deteriorating and we've now completely lost it and think we can turn into animals. No big deal, really. May as well keep on, since there isn't anything we know we can do about it."Suddenly, it became very bright in the cave Alyss had created."Ah, what's with the bright light!" Kay exclaimed.Aisha seemed to be in a state of panic. Could this have been her doing? Agni had almost forgotten about the strange powers part of this. They were definitely all completely insane.

Kelep turned back. "You coming?"{Aisha}Taking a deep breathe, I sat down, closed my eyes, and thought, 'LIGHT OFF! LIGHT OFF!'. She opened one eye, and was relieved to see that the bright light had gone away. "I think I found my power," she stated, in a incredulous voice.

I just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page since it might be a little awkward if half of us are writing about morning and the other half is writing about dusk.I'm still not sure what the older people plan on doing to test the new people, so if anyone has suggestions, we might consider discussing it in the discussion topic. Also, this needed another post. It's been a while. 😋))"That's quite something. That might be handy while we're traveling at night, Aisha. Perhaps we might all try working with these powers we have to improve on them. Who knows, our lives might depend on them in the near future." Agni pointed out.

Aisha announced, exercising her legs.

Sun's still going up and I don't think going out when it's near its peak is a good idea."Plus, I want to sleep, he added as an afterthought.~Cora~Hmph, if you got this under control, bear, then I'm going back to meet up with Terra. She flashed away and continued flying from 50 feet onward.I wonder what Terra has been doing while I was putting up with the annoying newcomer and bear.~Short post. Blah..

It's hardly past dawn, you guys need sleep we can't have you all stopping and collapsing during the night, we need to move then." She explained. "And you can make light, we're traveling at night. I honestly think that's super useful."

They really had no way of knowing what dangers might be drawn to a bright light in the dark desert.Terra had followed the newcomers at a great distance as a nyala, so as not to be noticed. Now that they had stopped to rest, Terra herself figured it would be a good time to hunker down. She didn't have much of a choice in places to rest, but that didn't bother her much. As a nyala, she was able to munch on the sparse, dry, twiggy vegetation to sustain herself through the desert. Her only real concern was the lack of water.

She smiled as she saw a blur of orange mixed with the dark night colors.Casting the rocks into a pile behind them she stood up and stretched, feeling cramped after sitting for so long. Her head hurt, but it was probably just focusing for all that time."We're ready to keep going." She mumbled, turning to the others.

Once he heard Alyss shift, he decided to move and stretch. She quickly got to it, dismantling their makeshift cave and standing. Agni followed suit, ready as he was going to be to head out."I'm not convinced we should draw that much attention to ourselves." Agni frowned at Aisha's suggestion, though his tone was still light.

@poe @leafdapple769 @spiritkoi @nynjahpandagurlAlyss nodded at Agni's words. "Best to save hte light for now, we'll probably use it when it gets darkest, so around dawnish or maybe midnight." She said before shaking her head violently to one side.The pain in her head had grown, but then again they didn't have access to anything to help with it. She shook her head again, rolling her neck afterwards before she looked before them. "We should head that way."

His stomach growled. It was still a weird idea to him that in a dream they were hungry or tired or otherwise afflicted by real life problems."May as well get started." Agni began walking in the suggested direction.
