So I'm thinking of trading freezes. How exactly does that go?

@lilkeykey14
Person who is getting the freeze sends the critter needing to be frozen to someone else to freeze since we can't actually trade CC at this time. Sometimes the person with the CC will offer another critter that isn't a common or cave monthly for insurance and sometimes they don't. And then for the payment for the freeze being done can be in EC, travels, or critters(depends on the value of the critter and how many freezes being done since a lot of the older critters are more than one freeze). Usually the payment plus whatever the person freezing the critter(s) are offered back on the critter(s) that were frozen or if travels sent to the person with CC inventory

@immortalraven

Mmm~~ Sounds like trust and a good reputation is needed u3u

Saw that bit in the FAQ about the scams with this. That's some horrible stuff. Hopefully all the meanies have been weeded out.

Yup x3

And I never was scammed and most the people I know haven't been. I think it was kinda rare but not just enough of it happened to people for the site not to get rid of CC transferring like they used to have

Nope, not huge but does happen. Haven't seen it happen except for with a person that recently went on hiatus and such and owes people a lot of CC but when they were active they didn't always have CC available at the time and people had to wait for it to be bought. Needless to say I avoided trading with them ... ever. xD But that's the only one I've noticed ever since I've been here x3

@lilkeykey14 I've done it several times before and I only had one issue where the person I was trading with said that we had agreed upon a different amount that we had. I think it was just a miscommunication, and in the end I believe that they did give it to me.

However, it's definitely important to trade with someone who has a good reputation, and who you trust.

If the freeze you need isn't urgent, I might suggest waiting. There's talk of a new form of secure CC trading of a sort. If you can afford to wait, it might be worth holding off for a bit.
