Why does my egg have a star over it

I've always wondered why. Does it mean that the egg is super important or something?

You can get a star egg from the cave or by starring it in the cash shop. Starring it yourself means it'll cost 1ooCC which you have to buy CC with real money. Getting a star from the cave is random. To most people a star adds a little bit of value but not a ton. They aren't that rare/super important and are pretty easy to find UFT (up for trade). There is nothing special about having a star critter other than it just has a star in the corner. No special abilities and such.
