Well, one of the steps is to introduce myself, so here we go. 😋 I've been around the internet aways, but I normally don't go for 'click' petsites, so we'll see.

I guess my one question is -- do pets really need unique names? How is this determined?

If you are replying to someone, you should ping them. Otherwise, they won't know that you've done so. To ping someone, either cick the bell icon under their username in the forums, or type an @ followed by their username (e.g. @sparklefox ). You can only ping up to five people per post. Sorry if you knew this already.

Yes, they need unique names. As in, a name that no other user has named a creature. For example, if you wanted to call them 'Bob' but user123 owned a creature named 'Bob', you would have to pick another name.
