Couple of Questions

My first one is, are there any rules on selling art/adoptables on this site? I've gone through all the rules that I can find and haven't found anything mentioned on either subjects (I usually follow DA rules as far as copyright is concerned anyways)

My second is, is there a way to post pictures or can you only post the URL? copying and pasting a URL kinda takes the fun out of adoptables and if we can't post pictures I probably won't start one here.

My third is, why is having friends necessary to getting that banner at the top of the screen to go away?? Some people are just lurkers and others just have a hard time making friends, I don't see that making it almost mandatory that you have 5 friends in the first 30 days is doing most people any good. But that's just my opinion. Edit: found that I overlooked a thread that had a simple, going around it solution. But it is still a question, regardless.

Last one is, is there a way to link offsite or is it only URLs again? I mean, I get it if your child friendly but that seems just kinda extreme to me. I like making it easy for people to see what I want to show them so not having linking or pictures just kinda puts a downer on this for me.

Sorry if some of these have been answered before, I went through a couple of pages of the Help and couldn't find them so I posted my own :/

@artlver I'll try to answer your questions as best I can.
1. You can sell art/adoptables on this site. There are several art threads on the forums where people sell their art.

2. At this time you can only post links to images.

3. That step is to try and encourage people to become active in the community. If you do not wish to add lots of friends, be a lurker, ect. that is fine and you can just ignore that step. The banner will go away after 30 days or you can add /close to the end of the url on the Getting Started page.

4. Again, at this time you can only post urls to off site pages. This, and the answer to #2 could change in the future.

@Orderedchaos Okay thanks, I didn't know if 2 & 4 were the same question or not, hence why I asked them both. Thank you for the quick response and the informative answers, I hope that we can post links and pictures sometime in the future because I'm sure that would add to the intrigue of browsing through the forums 😊
