a rant about my hatred for a teacher.

So there's this teacher at my school who is a full on....Never mind.
She teaches art and stuff.
A friend of mine wants to be a photographer, this teacher told her she'd never get into the university she wanted to becaise her photos weren't good enough.
She called my best friend pathetic because she couldn't knit in functional art.
She had a go at me for using the schools photocopier...When my teacher told me to..
Today, my teacher told me to go into the class next door to grab pencils....Guess whos class that was.
She first had a go at me for coming in, then rudely asked what I wanted. She then told me it wasn't her fault I was unorganised and I couldn't get pencils...So I walked out, walked around the back of the art department, went into the store room, got the pencils.
And it wasn't that I was unorganised, the teacher asked me to get them for the class to use...
She's just a nasty piece of work. -.-
Anyone else have a teacher this awful?

I definitely know how you feel. There's a teacher at my school who's like that too. She teaches math.

Anyway, she substituted for my class once when my normal math teacher was absent. And at that time, I was in the lower class (ours are separated into top classes and not top). Since she's used to teaching top classes, she wasn't prepared that my classmates didn't understand the lesson. And you know how if you don't understand, you have this natural reaction to put on a puzzled expression, right? Well, she yelled at my class for 'making faces' at her when in reality we were just confused. She complained about how stupid we were for not getting it and how disrespectful we were behaving. Then, she stormed out.

The next day, my normal math teacher spoke to my class about it and we explained what happened. But then she refused to take our answer. We explained that we also felt disrespected by her since we didn't actually do anything wrong and that we deserve an apology from her after we apologize as well. After that, the level supervisor came in and shouted at us because we're supposed to be students and we don't deserve apologies from teachers because we're 'lower'.

After that, I worked hard to get into a top class and I did in the next school year and I've been in one since. It's good because top classes never have to deal with getting yelled at for being slower.

Ugh. Teachers. I cannot at them. Students are people too.

@crazy_feline

Some teachers shouldn't be teachers
My friend's maths teacher yelled at him for interrupting her conversation with other students because he needed help.

Because he needed help. You're a teacher. You don't chit chat.

The teachers that those in my school should hate but just can't because they are too stupid and nice to realize that they say something wrong -____-

@charm556 we do deserve as much respect as teachers!
That's ridiculous, but at least it encouraged you to get into higher maths. Good job on that too! 😊

@mastergemma another terrible maths teacher! 😋 Actually, I don't like my maths teacher either. Well, just his homework load and how he tries to get us to do too much work in one lesson.
Sorry, got distracted from the main topic.
Oh wow, how did she get a job if she won't even help? >.<

@crazy_feline
I can say many more things but then I'd be banned XD
My school has tripped us over multiple times for our future career - they couldn't even tell us how to fufil a University scholarship-like thing form out!!!!

That teacher is a good teacher, sometimes, it's just when she gets distracted

Oh gosh when Ms _____ gets distracted it's so fun XD
Oh and Mr ____ as he is somehow a genius in making students smile

@mastergemma hahaha that's why I often have to delete thing and reword them before posting. :')

That's....Great.....Teachers should know how you do that. :/

Haha I love when teachers get distracted! :') My english teacher last year always did....She always told us her life story of her wedding, how her and her husband met, what kind of deodorant he wears (no joke.) etc. :')

My teacher just told us today that her husband was on the cover of one of the newspapers because he's a human shield for the PM

Hmmm....yr9 English teacher would talk about anything that was slightly relevant to the course, which often lead to many hilarious stories

yr10 camp one of the teachers literally when batty....

My favourite teacher hasn't told us anything (unfortunately).

@mastergemma
hahaha. :') mine are the complete opposite!!

Ooookay...Aha...😋 why does that sound like something only a drunk teacher would say? o.o

Come to think of it, every english teacher I've ever had has gotten off topic while talking about english!

My maths teacher has an obama obsession...

My English teacher right now is amazing. She makes really funny jokes in class and randomly says 'great balls of fire.' During a lesson.XD She even made me pinky swear her to write for the newspaper because she believes in me. She's amazing.^^

Oh! And thanks! Yeah, that sub's terror really pushed me to never have to experience it again.((:

I don't understand Aussies with American obsessions....
Well... English is such a diverse topic and there's content about everything on it.

My current English teacher thinks that I'm a bad luck charm because I always see her mess up (hehehe)

Definitely! I really love writing but there was a recent period in time wherein I just lost inspiration due to some *ahem* undesirable events. But then my teacher really motivated me to get my passion back.😊

If only all teachers were like that. Students make mistakes and teachers don't need to be overly critical of them for it. We get stressed enough when we try to prove ourselves, they don't need to add to it.

Actors and singers are world wide obsessions
@crazy_feline

If there are really bad teachers, complain to the higher ups and to parents, and just remind them it's a form of bullying/harassment

Deleted • 8 October 2014 at 7:10 AM

@mastergemma forgot to ping you last time, sorry!

@charm556 that's really good! 😊
What sort of stuff do you write? (Like, novels, short stories, articles etc.)

Exactly! We all make mistakes, it's how we learn.
My managers at work are great when I make a mistake. One of them said mistakes were a good thing because without them we wouldn't need to do well.
That, and they make sure I know when I do make a mistake, it isn't even as bad as what I see it as.
None of my teachers a like that..

Oh man I forgot to mention in my last post that I've witnessed 3 teachers being fired due to not being very good
(one in primary school, yr7 and in yr11)
We also want to get rid of another teacher but she's just way too nice that we can't bring ourselves to complain

@crazy_feline

Oh! I write novels, short stories and poems.😊 You can read samples of my poetry on some of my creatures' profiles if you like.^^

Wow! That's a good thing! At least they tell you what you did wrong in a reasonable way.

Exactly. Plenty of teachers I've encountered are like that too. They just like to pick on you based on your mistakes.=/

And I can't really complain about the teachers since thy never get fired. Like ever. No matter how many people or parents complain, horrible teachers are always there.
