Smaller denominations for CC Vouchers

It would be really nice if we could have 50, 100 and 200CC denominations for the vouchers.

I find 500 CC is quite a large amount that can be difficult to trade for, and if you are only after a freeze, then it could be hard (and potentially risky) to obtain.

Any other thoughts?

@mastergemma The lowest denomination is 500, which is kind of sad, since I see the main use for this as trading freezes.

Unfortunately it's already been stated that they don't plan on adding smaller denominations right now, but maybe at a later date.

I agree, or at least make the items themselves tradeable since everything else can be traded.

Like @univea said, we will be considering this thought, but at the moment we want to stick to vouchers for the buyable amounts.

Part of this comes from how Egg Cave was when Cave Cash gifting was available in any amount desired. Cave Cash became the primary currency, and this prevented newer users and non supporters from participating in the trade market until they managed to scrap up small amounts of CC. Since our lowest denomination is 500, this gives Egg Cave a good middle-ground system where small things really can't be traded for CC, making it easier for newer user to at the very least be able to obtain recent LEs with EC instead, giving them an opportunity to slowly make their way towards some bigger things.

This also prevents people from being able to make a fair trade on a creature that most users would consider to be worth 600 CC with just pure Cave Cash. It forces there to be another factor, such as travels, items, and other creatures, to even out the deal. This way, Cave Cash doesn't become the sole, single way of buying creatures. It keeps the demand on other currencies so that everyone has a chance.

I hope that answered your question! Like I said, at the moment we're primarily interested in observing how things go. We may change our minds later on, but I've been observing the Trade Center and Item Center closely and have found that CC trading isn't nearly as bad as it used to be when you could trade in any amount you wanted.

I do like @hybridrainbow's idea though, about making CC items like freezes and star potions tradeable. That might be even more useful than smaller CC denominations 😊

I really love that CC trading has come back, I'm definitely enjoying it so far 😊

@crazy_feline There was something similar, when we had CC gifting. It ended up being a bit of a mess, as people would trade anything to get really small, practically worthless, amounts of CC in the hope that they would eventually accumulate enough to buy something in the CC store xD
I'm not really a fan of going back to that, haha 😊
