{Intro}
A group of cats dwells on a river, their camp is in a cave. They seem like ordinary cats at first, although it soon becomes clear that there's no display of affection shared between anyone. Not between mates, not the brotherly affection between siblings and certainly not between a mother to her kits.
This strange group of cats call themselves The Pure a tribe who believes love to be weakness, and therefore not allowed.

{About the Pure}
They believe that love is a weakness, even between a mother to her kit. The ruler creates "matches" for each cat based on their personalities, likes, and dislikes.
If a cat is found to be poisoned by love, they have 1 moon to redeem themselves or be sentenced to execution.
The executioner is typically a she-cat unable to bear kits, or unwilling to bear kits. The executioner is cold and steeled to feeling emotion against killing. All executions are performed on a rock in the center of the river, where both the cat in love and the cat who they are in love with are put to death.

{The Pure's Code}
1. Ruler's word is law.
2. Love is a poison, no cat is to fall in love. If they do they are put to death unless able to redeem themselves.
3. Kits, elders, healers, and kit-mothers are to be fed before you eat.
4. The executioner should never bear kits and always be female.
5. Ruler and Step-up are typically mates, and are opposite gender.
6. Defend The Pure even at the cost of your life, nothing is to come before us.
7. The Pure rejects the life of the mongrels known as kittypets.
8. Kits born under the effects of love are to be treated normally but both parents are to be executed.

{Rules}
1. Have at least 2 cats of opposing genders.
2. Max of 1 HP per person.
3. Be literate.
4. Put your cats theme song in other.
5. No pair bonds with your own characters.
6. Max of 4 characters per person.
7. No birth scenes or mating scenes.
8. Keep violence low, even executions will be toned down.
9. Have fun.
10. Please post more than 1-liners. This is LITERATE.
11. Separate forms for each cat.
12. No images for cats description please.
13. Put your cats eye color in code.
14. If you are inactive for more than 1 week without prior notice to me, you shall be removed and your characters put up for adoption.
15. Sample RP is only needed for 1 form. But it is recommended for all.

I looked up into the eyes of my mother as she was drug onto the Rock. Accused of loving a rogue, she had been sentenced to death, me and my siblings were hardly weaned.
Now we were witnessing death, at such a young age too.
As our mother ate the scarlet berries before her, her eyes shone with pride. No guilt or betrayal shone behind them, and as she collapsed into spasms, she didn't give them the satisfaction of choking on her own breath.
It was at that moment, I realized something. I didn't want kits, I didn't want a mate. I'd become executioner, and be a cat who never found love. For it was truly a bitter thing.

OK, I got it, I will use the qquotation marks when I'm speaking but you know when you give someone a look and it means something? So, my character wasn't actually speaking, but it was giving the kit a look that was saying Don't meow at me, if you know what I mean. 😊
OK, so I can't be an executioner in training, so can I be a Protector instead? Thanks!
Just one question: is a toned-down execution lie, no blood and guts, sorta thing with no detail and stuff?

Birch inhaled the brisk air of the morning. She looked behind her back to her littermate, Longshadow who was trailing along behind her slowly.
"Could you hurry up?" Birch whined, "I wanna go to the lake!"
Longshadow looked up and glared at Birch, his ears flattening. His tail dragged behind him and his bright green eyes stared bitterly at Birch.
"We're going to get there no matter what," Longshadow growled.
Birch seemed to cower back a little at the tone she heard in Longshadow's voice. It was so icy compared to what she had heard back when their mother was alive and Longshadow cared for her. She flicked her head forward again and continued to walk. Soon after, she stopped hearing pawsteps behind her and she was curious. Her eyes trailed behind her. Longshadow wasn't following her anymore. Birch whipped her head around her, trying to look for Longshadow.
"Longshadow!" Birch bellowed.
She heard nothing.
The slender she-cat sniffed the air, and scented traces of Longshadow's scent. Birch's eyes darted around her. Where could her brother have gone?
