Confused about clicks and views

What's the difference? I've looked on the FAQ help page re eggs but it didn't seem to cover this. Is there a simple explanation? (I can figure out feeds easily enough) And, yes, I'm a newbie.

@glitterz For a creature to gain views all the needs to happen is for a page with the creature on it to be loaded, like your profile or on forums. In order for a creature to gain clicks you need to actually click on the creature and be taken to its page. So creatures can gain views without gaining clicks.
