@poe Dude, Dima and your character aren't a year apart. Dima's actually a few days younger than yours. In which case they entered together and Dima was this complete and utter scrawny failure while your dude was a supposed future legend.
I would like to see them meet again with Dima now full of muscle ; 3

@appleblizzard @poe Read the description guys, Dima is neither hateful nor prone to threatening people. Insults, offenses, taunts, yes, but I never mentioned anything about him starting fights or threatening newbies. Can we not rp stuff out? XD

@dramatic @poe @appleblizzard Can you guys explain what Dauntless is protecting the city from? Dima didn't do well in his initiation and is therefore a guard so I need some insight into that xD

@jupiter_hollow No one really knows…….. XD It's true though. They really are protecting the city from the divergents by watching the gates and keeping the divergents inside I think. The gates lock from the outside.

@jupiter_hollow no one is trying to escape, but Jeanine Matthews thinks that the divergents are a threat to "the system" and so plans to stem their energy by keeping them contained inside the city.

Sorry I wasn't reading dates I looked at the numbers. Though I could have sworn I read 19 Lol. You'll have to excuse my idiocy right now. Exams are full swing and my brain feels so full of stuff I'm totally losing it and probably misreading things. ^^; And I thought our two characters might tend towards conflict not because of an assumption that Dima was aggressive, but more because the description sounded like he often says mean things because biting sarcasm. But again, maybe I just interpreted things wrong? Sorry if I did. Or maybe they'd actually get along really well like those people who are best friends but very opposite. Also a possibility, if you like that idea. Who knows?

@poe I did actually write 19 at one point xD I realized his birthday mesnt him turning 20 at the current year though. But I didn't mean to tell you that in a reprimanding manner. More like "hey dude, this could happen"

Conflict yes, but you were enthusiastic about them hating each other and while they certainly won't be best of friends due to Dima's nastiness, neither of them seems the type for outward hatred. We have Jules who is kind and shy and Dima, who doesn't bother to hold strong emotions towards bygones. I suppose I made a mistake ofnputting the word 'hatred' in his form eithout expanding on it. Then again, I wrote his form on phone ^^"

I would be fine if Jules hated Dima, it's certainly justified hatred xD

Hey maybe I'm not /quite/ losing it. XD

It was a random suggestion. I feel ya on writing stuff on phones. For some reason I find things much harder to read on phones and end up messing up what I meant to write. Oh, and Jules isn't shy. Did I write that he was shy? Because I definitely typo'd if I did. Oops. Maybe I'll check that later if I feel less lazy. Chances are I won't though and it will sit there as a typo forever confusing people.

@jupiter_hollow So basically, you are put into factions according to specific personalities. You are and can be contained by the ways of that faction. Divergents have traits from more than one of the factions, and therefore don't fit in. Their way of thinking can't be contained by a specific way of life. Jeanine Matthews thinks that this is a threat to the faction system.

Are your characters visiting the factionless eventually? Because while I really would love to roleplay Marcel (he's brand new and I love him so), there aren't any factionless characters and I'm only allowed to make three if one of them is factionless xD

As it happens, Jules would eventually. He likes to help/hang out with the factionless when he doesn't have to be elsewhere. So I imagine after we get through the ceremonies (if we ever do), I'd send him that way. Or he can leave the ceremonies for some reason or other, just because the rp is at a standstill with everyone there.

I'd love to have Dima and Jules or Jackson meet soon though =3 He's new as well and I'd like to play him. I was gonna talk to nynjahpandagurl about him being one of the reasons Felix is so abrasive ; 3 Because I just love making my characters bullies.

That would be pretty perfect, if she agreed to that. I love when people can connect characters because it gives great background for the character's interactions and stuff.
