A CC Thief shop?

I think I quite like the idear of a CC Thief shop. That was, some of us CCers have a chance.

The creatures would be either 200 or 500 CC, and you'd always get an egg. Though this shop would stock slower.

There might/would also be a limit of 3 ( or more/less) per month.

Two things I like about the thief shop is that everyone has a chance and that there's a chance of not getting a creature.

Without the chance of not getting a creature, it wouldn't exactly be fair to the other thief shop. I get why - because you're actually spending money, but it just seems like a cheap move

I guess it's a little too early to really discuss a CC version as it was just introduced.

Overall, I'm not a major fan (even if I'm a CC buyer) and because of how recent the shop opened up, I just don't think it would be a good addition for now. Maybe in a year or two it may become a better idea with more of the creatures in circulation but not now

I think there should still be some kind of gamble, if this were to be a thing. Maybe you'd get an item or travel or something if you don't get a creature, but I don't think a creature should be guaranteed, for the reasons @mastergemma mentioned.

Or maybe something like the Wall of Sandrodons or the Site Trivia.

On a certain day of each month and just for that day that month, the shop is open. You enter the shop and pick a number or answer a question (or do something else w/an equal amount of probability). If you get the number right or answer the question correctly, then you get presented with a prize: either a really rare egg or an Unobtainable item/travel, depending on the difficulty of the task. You can either pay CC or EC to get it.

(Or you have a choice: either pick a number or answer a question. Picking the correct number would be more difficult, so if you get it correct, you receive an egg. Answering a question would be easier, so if you get it correct, you receive an Unobtainable item/travel.)

Some cons there, too, though .___. The going exchange rate for CC to EC is 10k EC for 1CC. That means that if the egg is 500CC, it could very well go for as much as 5M EC (item/travel might be 50CC; 50CC = 500k EC). And, the way I've put it, it's just a different version of Wall of Sandrodons and the Site Trivia, just with higher valued things.

Although, the eggs would probably be 100% rarity. So they could be worth a lot, depending on how many end up in circulation. Hm. So the more difficult the process, the higher the probability that the eggs that end up in circulation are more valuable. Maybe even as valuable as a Doovoo.
