{Silverkit}

Silverkit scrambled out of nursery, feeling energetic. She bounded to a rock and hopped on there, enjoying the feeling of the sun on her belly. All of a sudden, something landed on her, squishing her and blocking the sunlight.

"Hey!" Silverkit protested. "Get off of me!"

A face peered down at Silverkit: Snowkit. "I'm only enjoying the sun!" Snowkit exclaims, putting on an innocent face.

All of a sudden, there was this voice that made Snowkit jump off of Silverkit. "Hey!"

{Snowkit}

Snowkit opened her eyes, awakening from her nap. She yawned, then realized that her sister, Silverkit, wasn't nestled next to her. Silverkit usually woke up earlier, so it was no surprise. Snowkit crawled through the hole in the Nursery, and peeked out at the morning sun.

Out on a rock, there sat Silverkit, enjoying the sun all to herself! Snowkit puffed out her chest and bounded silently behind the rock. Then, when Silverkit wasn't paying attention, Snowkit pounced on Silverkit. Ahh, the sun felt good.

A muffled voice that must have been Silverkit whimpered, "Hey! Get off of me!"

Snowkit looked at Silverkit, happy to see her struggling under her. "I'm only enjoying the sun!" Well, that was half true. Snowkit was also enjoying Silverkit under her, struggling. It was quite comfartable, actually.

Then, a voice called across the clearing, "Hey!" and made Snowkit jump off Silverkit. Snowkit knew she was in trouble, but she'll try to play it out.

Ruststar woke up and streched. It was a beautiful mourning, not a cloud in the sky. She saw Snowkit sitting on Silverkit and she chuckled to herself. Regular kit behavior. She strolled towards the fresh kill pile and toke a plumb looking vole to snack on.

Frostfang woke up, with the sun hitting her back. 'I think I will go and get a mouse from the fresh kill pile', she thought yawning. She walked over to the fresh kill pile and saw Ruststar there looking through the fresh kill pile. "Hi Ruststar" ,she mewed. "How are you today?"

Melancholy walked slowly to a bush. He was thinking about his missing brother, Cheer, who he missed very much. He looked over Silverkit and Snowkit, who looked like they were... ah... Having... fun? He sighed as he thought of what "fun" was like.

{Silverkit}

When Snowkit got off Silverkit, Silverkit immediately bolted to the nursery. She didn't like getting in trouble. For Snowkit, oh, it was easy. Her sister could just play her way out of it, but Silverkit, no, she couldn't take it.

{Snowkit}

Snowkit sat in a perfect posture, her tail curled over her legs. Meanwhile, her scaredy-mouse sister ran back to the Nursery and was probably hiding, again. A cat strided across to Snowkit, but Snowkit didn't really know which cat it was, since the cat was about halfway across the camp.

"Hello!" Snowkit calls out in an innocent tone. "Early bird too, eh? Well, at least the mornings are all pretty early for me."

Snowkit thought about that, realizing she was waking up earlier than usual every day. Maybe that was because she was growing older. 'Yes!' Snowkit thought. 'I want to be and apprentice!'

"Anyways, nice day, isn't it?" Snowkit just acts out coolly. She mewed that all very quickly, hoping the cat is going to get distracted by all the questions.

"Ok." She says looking at Ruststar. "But first can I ask you something? It's very important." "Ok, I think I'll just say it." she says, taking a deep breath. " I want to be a medicine cat."

"Melancholy!" she called. "How about you go hunting, the fresh kill pile is running low." Then she brought her attention to the cat in front of her. "Really?" she asked Frostfang. "Well, we do not have one yet... where have you learned about medicine?"

"Well, when I was trapped with the twolegs they had a cat who lived with them too. She told me all about medicine and how to heal cats." Frostfang mewed. "So, I think I'm ready." She said looking confidently in Ruststar's eyes.

{Snowkit}

The cat thought for a moment, then just nodded and walked away to sun on a rock. It was probably too far to walk all the way across camp. Snowkit puffed out her chest proudly. She turned around to sun herself, when she realized there was an elder on there. Great.

"Too late talking, should have stayed here. Now that I'm on this rock, my old bones won't be moving anytime soon." The elder tells Snowkit.

Snowkit just walks back to the nursery and snuggles into her nest. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

{Silverkit}

Silverkit watched as Snowkit walked in through the nursery and fell asleep, again. That must have meant she got out of trouble. Silverkit walked out of the nursery, and saw Ruststar and Frostfang talking to eachother. She wanted to listen to what they were saying, but she didn't want to get in trouble, so she just played with her striped tail.

Ruststar seemed to be in deep thought. "Well, first I would have you take a test, just simple things I've picked up." she told Frostfang. "Then if you pasted that, of course you would travel to Moonstone, and see if you are accepted by Starclan. Then you would be a offical medicine cat."

{Snowkit}

Snowkit woke up again at noon, which was earlier than usual. She crawled out of the nursery anyways. In front of her, Silverkit crashed into her, apparently chasing and clawing her tail playfully, but got too out of control.

Snowkit let out a small yowl, then pounced on Silverkit, and the play fighting began.

" Ok the 1st and probably most deadly is deathberries. The 2nd one is Nightshade and the last but least is holly." Frostfang mewed. "The ones that cure poison are Nettle, snake root, and yew."

Silverkit played with Snowkit until they accidentally crashed into Malencholy. "S-sorry! We were just playing around!" Snowkit explains, then she saw the faraway look in his eyes. "Are you okay?" Snowkit asks.
