Travel Question

I just acquired and egg that is frozen - I do not like the travel that it came with. I have tried to remove it but it says that the egg has not used any items. But clearly I can see the background...lol

So, I am thinking that when the egg was frozen, this particular travel was there and now it can not be changed because the egg was frozen while it was attached? Did that make sense?

If this is the case, which I hope it's not, I may be stuck with the travel unless I unfreeze the egg.

If someone uses a travel on a pet, it will be there until you put another travel on a pet. You can not remove travels from pets. It isn't a problem nor glitch or a problem of having to unfreeze the egg. It is now it is for all eggs. You just have to get a travel you want and use it on the egg to get the travel to change.

Ack...lol I did not know this - I have removed travels in the past without a problem and didn't add another travel to them.

So this changed?

But again, when I go to the creatures profile, it says that it has nothing, no travel etc. This has gotten me puzzled. It is also like that with the Macaw I bought - can not remove the existing travel because the profile does not acknowledge that it is on it... ummm.. maybe I am just not getting it....lol

What if like on most of my creatures, I do not want a travel. I am really not that fond of them?

Well, I am hoping that I can still remove it, if not I hope I can find a muted one that I like.

The best solution to this odd issue I believe, is to put a cheap travel on it, and then remove it.
The travel will be picked up by the system, so then you can remove it.

Travels can be removed from creatures, without having to add a new travel, on the Cove page. http://eggcave.com/cove
