{This RP is based off the Maze Runner book Series, although it only follows the idea of living in the maze, roles, and laws of hte maze. Everything else is of our own imagination. This takes place when a group of teenagers are dropped into the Maze for hte first time. They are the first one's there.}

{Intro}
You awake in a box, everything around you is black, with only a few pale glimpses of light filtering in as the box around you moves upwards.
Towards what? You don't know but you can tell it'll be better than anything in this box.
Around you are people, within reach of yourself you can count at least 2 others, but there may be more.
You try to remember how you got here. Useless you can't remember anything but how to breathe, hunt, names for the basic survival things, animals, and your own name. The first, not the last.
How you got in the box is a mystery, but your questions remain unasked as the box stops moving and suddenly opens up letting peels of sunlight and bird song. You are in a gigantic glade, surrounded by stone walls more than 100 feet up in the air.
There appears to be a set of hammocks strung up on trees nearby enough for the people in the box. There are giant gaps in the walls, one on the east, west, north and south sides all opening into what appears to be a maze.

{Rules}
-Only runners can enter the maze
-Have fun.
-No god-mods or sues
-Keep everything appropriate.
-There has to be a balance of every group of people.
-Character limit capped at 4.
-Keep genders even
-Make at least 2 characters of opposing genders.
-Put one of your fandoms(A show, book series, or movie you follow endlessly) in "Other" on your form.
-Follow the Glade Laws too
-You don't remember your past, at all. If anything there'll be fleeting images of it, but nothing you can place. Don't give your characters a past.
-If you are stung by a griever there's no magic cure-all. Just a cure sent by W.I.C.K.E.D but even then it's iffy. Your charrie can still die.

{Glade Laws}
-Don't kill or maim another Glader.
-Only Runners are allowed in the Maze
-No one is allowed in the Maze at night. The doors close anyways.
-Everyone pitches in, and we all get what we need.

{Roles}
Runners-Those who explore the maze. They leave at dawn and return just before dusk.
Med-jacks-Those who heal all who are sick or "stung"
Harvesters-Those who plant and tend to the garden.
Farmers-Those who take care of farm animals and get the meat for food.
Cooks-Those who prepare meals for everyone.

Looks: Six foot five caucasian female with gray-blue eyes that can't decide which shade to be. She has dirty blond hair down to the middle of her neck.
Outfit: She wears a pair of denim Capri that can roll up into shorts, along with a black tank top. When it gets cold she'll pull on a black jacket and a pair of blue jeans. She like all runners wears a pair of running shoes although hers are black.
Role: Head Runner
Personality: Rather anti-social, she's temperamental, and has a sharp tongue.
Fears: She's claustrophobic, has Entomophobia, and severe social problems(caused by her claustrophobia).
Strengths: She's brave, noble, light on her feet, and quick thinking. She's got a great memory(but then all runners have to have that).
Other: Doctor Who

Alyss stood up on shaky legs as the box around her opened. Hauling her body out, and flopped onto the ground and looked around her eyes adjusting to the light hitting her dead on.
Standing and shielding her face she observed her surroundings before helping out the boy below her, and moved to do the same to the others while the boy she helped worked on the other side.

Name: Bronte
Age(14-18): 18
Gender: Male
Looks: naturally medium toned skin (mixed probably). wavy, a little longer than chin length, dark-brown hair. High cheekbones and square jaw. Thin lips and a thin moustache with a little scruff along his jaw. His eyes are warm and dark. Mostly straight somewhat heavy brows. Quite tall. He has climber's build, on the lanky side.
Outfit: plain tshirt. Cargo pants with room to stretch and move, which can be tied above his knees as shorts. A light pair of boots plenty good for running. When it's chillier, he has a plain jacket. He also has quite a few string bracelets and stuff.
Role: Runner
Personality: quietly confident and comfortable with who he is. Calm and collected. Notably very amiable and happy on the outside, but within the context of his calm demeanor. Non-judgmental and very kind-hearted. Introspective and thoughtful but doesn't take life too seriously.
Fears: Afraid of losing Alyss; won't leave the maze ahead of her because he'd rather be stuck in the maze with her than know she's there alone. The idea of being stuck is scary for him, like if he couldn't run from something. He's pretty level headed so he doesn't have many fears, but he does have other weaknesses.
Strengths: very fast, as a runner should be, great with puzzles and problem solving, flexible, and acrobatic. Infectious smiles.

Bronte's eyes opened slowly. He stared at the metal beneath him, next to his face. It was cold, he noticed as his awareness increased. His back was warmer. With some effort, Bronte pulled himself to his knees, and blinked as his eyes slowly adjusted to take in the bright glade surrounding him. Where am I? He thought.

Looks: Average height, medium olive skin, crazy huge long curled hair, big hazel eyes, muscled (not like a body builder, like a regular strong woman) and fit, curvy, very full lips, somewhat wide nose, soft angled features.
Outfit: short shorts and a cream coloured loose blouse. She often goes bare footed, but wear a pair of short boots otherwise. She has a woven sweater if she's cold.
Role: Harvester
Personality: Cheerful and relaxed mostly, but she's got a great sense of humor and tends to give sassy remarks in a lighthearted way. She loves to be social, and she loves to sing and hum all the time.
Fears: Afraid of the maze, afraid of others being very angry.
Strengths: Knowledge of plants, positivity, endurance, sweet-talking others.
Other: Sherlock is pretty good. No spoilers!

@leafdapple769 Your forms are missing something, can you take a quick look at the rules again and fix your forms? Also their strengths seem too unrealistic. They can't communicate with animals or have mystical healing properties. And I'm interested in her past. It might have something to do with W.I.C.K.E.D I'm guessing?

Looks: Tawny has waist length wavy tawny hair never tied back. Her eyes are a striking green colour and her skin is very lion-like. She is quite tall and has striking features.
Outfit: A short turquoise top with blue jeans and a green-ish hoodie. She has blue trainers and wears a turquoise hairband.
Role: Runner
Personality: Curious, Energetic, Mysterious and usually mocking. She loves to have fun and trick people. She also likes to play around with people. Can be quite hard to tell whether you are her friend or not.

I opened my eyes. It was Pitch Black. My eyes adjusted to the dim light and I saw I was locked up in a small box. I walked around trying to find an exit when one side of the box opened and blinding light filled the dark area. I scrambled out and saw a few people here but not many. Tall walls of stone towered above me and I frowned. I didn't know where I was or how I got there but I knew that whatever I did, I would be good at it.

Personality: Has a wall of Seriousness on the edge, a bit of roughness and violence. Once you get to know him better, he has an inner core of Calmness, Kindness and Protection. He isn't emotional mostly but on a very odd occasion he can be.
Fears: Loosing everything and being controlled by someone.
Strengths: Has good fighting skills and is a good archer. He can jump very far and think of a plan really quickly.

@appleblizzard We actually have an uneven ratio of Runners to other positions. Can you change their roles? Even if there wasn't an odd number two from the same person wouldn't be accepted anyways.

Have you watched The Maze Runner? It's a film for the books there's a trailer on youtube and little clips of the film which should give you a good idea of what it's about.

@quillbunny The Maze Runner is a book series by James Dashner, the plot for the first book is they're boys stuck in a giant maze built by a company after solar flares destroyed the earth. The books follow near hte end of the maze but the RP takes place after a group of people are dropped into the maze so it's different from the books. Hence the loosely based.

Age:18
Gender: Male
Looks: Jude can be best described as a joining of masculine physical features and subtle feminine traits. He is tall for his age and has a heavily muscled but lithe build. However, his gait, movements and mannerisms carry a slight womanly tone.
He has a strong jawline, full lips and deep set, dark eyes that seem to flare and gain a tint of red when he is angry. Silky, brown strands fall over his forehead and around his face with a light wave. His hair is chin length at it's longest points.
Faint marks are scattered over his light skin, they are most concentrated on his back and shoulders. He hides them with clothing despite being unable to remember their origin.
Outfit: He wears a dark red, sleeveless shirt which tightly hugs his torso. A gray leather jacket with maroon details, the sleeves of which are always pulled up to his elbows and which is usually left unzipped. The rest of his outfit consists of black jeans and boots.
Role: Med-jack
Personality: Jude is very thick headed and also brutally honest. He doesn't mind starting arguments and will often bring up and hold onto a topic even if it is painful one for everyone around him. Truly, he has very little sense of what is appropriate and has no compassion for the suffering of others once he is determined to clear up a subject. He is very unconcerned with his image and well knows for saying whatever he thinks. Confronting him when he is angry is anything but a good idea.
Those who can bare with him when he is strongly set on something and ticked off are awarded with the friendship of a very selfless man. He can become extremely focused on helping someone reach their goal if he considers it a worthy one and is reckless enough to do so even when the odds are against it working out. However, he does this partially for himself and not just out of loyalty or goodwill. With a select few people he is very caring and gentle but it isn't very clear why these few receive such special treatment from him.
He is good company, friendly enough to strangers and acquaintances and optimistic in a twisted, usually sarcastic way. He dislikes rules and expectations set by the community and is usually the one braking them.
Fears: Being overwhelmed, defeated, left without options or severely punished.
Strengths: Physically strong, independent, resourceful, quick thinking.

Inside the home of Kilian Zaugg it seemed like it was perhaps only a few minutes past midnight. The bedroom was void of light except for the glow of a computer monitor and a few thin lines of pale sunshine that managed to sneak in through the thick window shades. There were also neon green symbols visible in the darkness. They were displayed on the digital clock beside the neatly made bed, the digits showed 07:59.
In a few seconds the screen of the device went black before coming back to life with a new set of numbers on it, indicating that it was eight in the morning. It began beeping loudly, repeating an irritating ping three times before pausing and starting over.
Kilian shifted and let out an uneven sigh, barely conscious but becoming more awake with every sound. He was positioned uncomfortably on an office chair and spread over a desk. His cheek was pressed onto a keyboard and one of his arm hung over the edge of the desk. He recognized the horrible noise interrupting his sleep before even remembering where he was. He stretched towards the clock to slap a hand on it and shut it up without even opening his eyes.
As silence was reestablished he straightened himself into a siting position and frowned in response to the pain in his lower back that seemed to follow every movement of his body. No matter how many times he found himself in that situation he never became less irritated by it. It was an awful way to start the day and from past experience he knew the next 24 hours would be just as bad. He slapped himself lightly on the cheek where the imprints of square buttons were still noticeable and slid his fingers down his face until they slipped off his chin and dropped onto his chest.
Before him on the monitor the schematic for a fine mechanical part were open in an editing software. He had set the screen saver to come up after the ridiculous time of 9999 minutes so it was not a surprise that the program was still waiting for commands. He examined it for a moments but couldn't remember what exactly it was he wanted to correct before he accidentally drifted off.
He was tempted to just move to the bed, tangle himself in a blanket and sleep through the entire morning but he knew that he couldn't, there were things to be done. Instead he got up sluggishly, stretching out with the hope of lessening his back pain and headed for the kitchen.

Looks + Personality:
Skye has is lithe, but still a little curvy. Very athletic, thus the physique. She loves to run and is very competitive, so she can often be seen jogging. Is also a science nerd, sometimes cracks science jokes when nervous. Wavy, dark hazel-chestnut hair fading into strawberry-blonde tips reaching her chest, often pulled back into a chignon, only on occasion let down to frame her bright silver eyes. Her frame is lean and agile yet still well-muscled. Skye has a lot of social anxiety so when she's around others for a prolonged amount of time she tends to stutter and run her fingers through her hair.
Outfit: White tank top and jeans, topped with a leather jacket when it gets cold.
Role: Runner (if it's available)
Fears: The dark
Strengths: Strong, pretty smart

A tall, spindly figure maneuvered swiftly through the large group as everyone chattered excitedly around her. The narrowed, silver eyes placed upon Tora's pale and slight face slipped along the ample amount of others standing at the gates. Although this slender girl was embraced in a vast horde, it was quite apparent she stood apart. All her life, Kuro Tora had been a loner, the outsider no matter what. From her looks; Skinny and long-legged, silver eyes and dark hair -- To her personality; silent and solitary, Tora was quite diverse from the rest. And her cat-like features with those snake eyes and teeth helped none. After a short period, she had finally grasped the fact that regardless her efforts, it was no use; she eventually gave up trying. When a petite girl with auburn hair and a halter top bumped into her, the contrite damsel hissed and flared her idiosyncratic eyes, backing away. Away from the multitude, she relaxed, unflattening her white ears, the left one bearing a couple spots of orange and black. Tora pressed back against a willow tree, her eyes fluttering closed.

"Neko, I'm guessing?" a sharp-edged voice alerted the hybrid. Her eyelids lifted as she took in a guy with soft features and bright eyes, seemingly alike to a blazing flame. She offered a tiny nod, watching him lean against the tree as well, leaning his head back. "You?" she questioned after a moment, after attempting -- and failing -- to discover his true nature.

Reaching out, his light and slender arm grasped a falling red leaf. A wisp of smoke escaped it and it began to smolder and burn, crumbling at his touch. Phoenix, she thought.

He'd help anyone who needs it as well as he would defend what he considers fair. Not very emotive. He doesn't usually show his emotions or feelings about anything. Quiet and secretive. Tends to be a bit spiteful, and he has an impressive hatred towards WICKED.
