Creature Suggestion - Volcanine

This is the Volcanine, the latest of my creature suggestions. By now, you probably know that I lack coloring utensils, so the picture is in black and white.

The egg is shiny and black, with orange lava coming from the top. The flame symbol is brighter orange, with a yellow center. The hatched form has dusky brown fur and a maroon tongue. The shell is a glossy black, and the cone of the volcano is dark gray-brown. The lava is orange, and the inside of the cone is bright yellow.

Description: This egg looks to be made of black volcanic glass, though the very top is already oozing lava. Volcanine eggs are very hot to the touch, so be sure not to touch it with bare hands. If a Volcanine egg becomes too cold, it cannot hatch.

Volcanine shells are made of a glassy material similar to obsidian, and as the creature ages, its shell grows in size and strength. The cone on their back slowly oozes raw material for building their shell throughout their lives. These creatures tend to bond with one person, and can often be found moving into the fireplace of the kind Arkian who takes them in. The fire on its tail reflects its mood, and because the creatures sleep so much, it is best for Volcanine owners to keep flammable objects away from their beds, in case of nightmares.

Well, it's supposed to look like a dog, but I suppose the tail makes it look more like a lion. xP
