Add a way to get CC for free

Like say add a thing that gives you a chance at getting CC or a rare creature once a day

That wouldn't be very fair for CC buyers (and I tell you this as a not CC buyers, eh).

But occasionally there are contests for winning CC (you have to work hard and compete for them, though) ... like, some time ago we had a "found the gobbler" competition, and the top 50 finders received a prize of 500CC. 😊

So far the system for EC and CC is just fine. I do not buy CC so I have to struggle a little more to get creatures but that's the way EggCave survives - it needs donations in terms of CC for renevue 😊

CC is a currency bought with real money in order to help keep the site running and pay the artists who provide us with new creatures every month. Flooding the site with free CC and rare creatures on a daily basis would harm the site's revenue and eggcave economy.

As wererage mentioned, there are multiple user contests that offer CC/rare creatures as prizes. You can also feed...A LOT...and save up around 5-6mil EC. Some users are willing to trade their CC/recent CSPs for EC. As for obtaining older, rarer creatures, you have to "build your cove" and achieve them one at a time.

Eggcave hosts multiple events during the year. Last year, there was a creature called the Weggy released on easter. It was extremely hard to obtain for some, and a lot of older creatures were being offered in the trade center for it.

So just be active, feed as much as possible, save that EC up, participate in all the events this year, and you'll be able to earn CC without having to buy any.

@epicgod To be honest I dont think you should make suggestions like this at all before knowing how the site works.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but I am thinking that you as user who's only been here mere hours, cant judge the site like that.

I don't think once a day would be very productive. But perhaps having a contest once or twice a year could be cool (one that requires some kind of real skill/luck/dedication). Take the Gobbler hunt at Thanksgiving time, for instance. The Top 50 got 500 CC.

CC is a currency that is bought. It is only for those who wish to donate towards the site. If you can't afford it, then let it be. You still have access to EC - and you can get that for free.
