So, today while I was looking at old blog posts, I saw that the chocob apparently had been redrawn. so after spending a little amount of time looking for it, I found not only the original piece for the chocob, but the rosse to!

I found the original piece for the rosse while looking for the other version of the Chocob.

So here they are. 😋

The trivia on eggcavern said that the rosse was originally headless. Always wondered what it looked like lol

Chocob original egg looks kind of like the Lotty's. The Rosse kind of creeps me out.

Aww I used to love the good old chocob, it looked just like a lintdor bunny. ❤️ I'm glad they revamped the rosse though ... creepy headless thing. owo

I think The old Rosse looks pretty cool though. 😋 Just the art looks kinda amateur-ish. I have a slight thing for creature like that. xD


@mairbear But I am glad that they kept the old pose. 😸

@wererage I think it would make a pretty cool new Easter creature, like a different specie. like a monthly. 😋 Like were its a close relative to the Chocob or the lotty, but not the same.

@spiritkoi Or the lotty looks like the original chocob. xD

Idk why, But I think that if they did keep the origanal chocob they could of had two stages. The original Chocob as the first and the remake as the second. 😋 But like I told wererage, I think it would be cool if the original chocob became a different creature entirely. I kinda want a pure brown chocolate bunny that isn't melting. 😋

I think the problem was that it looked a little tooo similar to the Lindt bunny 😋 I can't rmb if I actually read that somewhere or if it was my personal theory, but I've always thought that's why they had to be changed o;

@mairbear There was a different reason for why I went to the blog, but, I forgot it as soon as I saw that the chocob had a makeover. :I I also found out that monthly's use to be 250cc instead of 500.

I remember that thing... I couldn't remember what it was called though. ;P

Every time I see that I am reminded that I almost finished the 2012 egghunt, but I couldn't find the last 2 eggs.

I prefer the original Chocob. It also reminded me of the Lotty. I think I've seen this original pic before...

The original Rosse did not have a head, LOL
