Ash got up still slightly tired, the others were already up helping some newcomers out the box. Brad helped her out the hammock and seemed to be grinning. "Remember your name yet?"
"Nope, why?" She said curious.
" Turns out I'm Brad"
Ash thought for a while didn't she know that name? "Wait then your my brother!" "But who am I?"
"I can't remember that all I know is that your my sister"
Brad help her on her feet. "We should probably see what else the box brought up"

"Box brought nothing else up, let's get he rest of the hammocks set up and we'll get food." Alyss called out to the other two while she showed the new arrivals around.
"We don't have much, don't know much either. But we've got a place to sleep and people to cook food. Got walls too high to see over and they close when dusk hits.
"You actually just missed them closing, although probably for the best." Alyss explained.

Margot raised an eyebrow and, with a grin, scoffed at the sarcasm of the boy who replied to her. "Hey now, you're alive and standing, and that counts for something."

Alyss rolled her eyes, looking over at the others.

"Come on, we need to get everything ready to sleep guys." Sebastian called out.

"Will do, bro." Bronte smiled amiably with a lazy salute at the tall young man with dark hair. "We ought to be able to get things looking pretty spiffy right quick, together."

Margot happily obliged and got back to getting the supplies and sleeping area in order along with Bronte and the others.

Sebastian nodded and set to finishing up hanging the hammocks. He looked around as Margot helped out while Alyss went about standing in front of a tree and observing everything.

Alyss stood before a tree and observed those helping set up the camp. She should help although she felt she needed to plan on how to explore tloutside the walls and so set to planning for it.

Bronte was a quick worker, and finished setting up a hammock and helping Margot with another. As she thanked him, she moved on with a smile to help someone else set up the more important things before they rested.

"Whatcha thinking over here alone?" Bronte queried, nearly swinging around the tree and coming to rest leaning against it. He looked at Alyss a bit like an expectant dog.

Alyss shook her head breaking from her thoughts as Bronte approached. "What we are going to do about whats outside the walls." She said.

Sebastian trusted the other two with camp while he set about rummaging through packs and finding things to use for food. He pulled out a canteen full of water and a few other things.
Lighting a fire he made some form of soup.

"Hm," Bronte rubbed the stubble on his chin, contemplating the problem now, as well, with a somewhat humorous thinking face. "It's hard to figure out what to do without much knowledge. I think tomorrow we could be running a little blindly. A couple contingency plans wouldn't be a bad idea, though."

Margot clapped her hands a couple times, pleased to be finished with setting up the camp. They'd erected a tarp over the cluster of hammocks, a little awkwardly in their haste to get ready to eat and rest up to be in fit condition to work on a survival plan in the morning. With the thought of food on her mind, she walked with swaying hips over to where the dark-haired pale man had started cooking something.

"Hey... Um... So what are you making? It smells good already." She shyly asked.

Alyss nodded. "We still need to find out what's out there before we even start making plans though." She said. "Ever a tricky situation."

"We'll need a contingency plan before we go out there, though. We can't learn without leaving, and we can't leave without a few plans to fall back on. Being a little prepared is better than nothing at all." Bronte reminded her.

Margot smiled back, "It's Margot. Pleased to meet you!"

She was still feeling shy, but already his smile put her more at ease. She was a little afraid he'd get mad at her for asking. She wondered why that was.

"But that takes too long." Alyss muttered. But she relaxed slightly.
"I guess you're right, in a way. We send two people out first for say an hour or so and they gather as much as they can and we plan from there." She suggested.

"We don't need big plans. Just a couple loose ideas to try to keep people safe. Like a meeting place, time, maybe plan to avoid those... Things? That we saw before the doors closed." Bronte smiled gently. "I agree 100% that whoever goes out should only go out for a short time."


"I can definitely do that!" Margot grinned with her large lips.

She skipped a few steps before walking over to where the rest of the group mingled.

"Dinner's going to be ready soon. We can head over with bowls if we have them." Margot's eyes flitted over the few gathered in the camp, trying to decide who to look at.

"True, maybe we can set up a base for those exploring in the woods right there. Plan out who's doing what and such." Alyss said, and opened her mouth to say more when Margot announced dinner was done.
"Looks like we've got t wait." She said shrugging before nudging Bronte and walking towards where Margot came from.

@werewolf Since your last post Alyss and Bronte have discussed how to explore the maze and Margot set up camp and Sebastian made soup and now everyone is getting ready to eat.
So nothing drastic, just life things.

Bronte pushed himself off the tree he leaned against in an exaggerated fashion and followed Alyss over to where the delicious smell emanated from.

Margot smiled as she scooted over to where they had left some of the miscellaneous items and found a few bowls. She handed them to the others as they walked over to where Sebastian waited with the soup.

Alyss accepted the soup from Sebastian with a small smile and waved at Margot before sitting down before a tree.

Sebastian passed out small bowls of soup to the people lining up before him. He smiled at them and he looked around observing what each person looked like and how each one sounded.

Ash accepted her bowl of soup it smelled delicious and looked better then anything she could ever cook. She sat by a small makeshift fire.

After getting his soup Brad sat next to her, he hadn't spent much time getting to know the others and still felt kinda shy. The soup was nice and warm against the cold breeze that had picked up and it help take his mind off things.

(And sorry for not posting in a while! 😋)

"Thanks!" Bronte said appreciatively as he was served a bowl of soup. He picked a spot next to Alyss and someone else he hadn't spoken with yet.

Margot happily took her bowl back from Sebastian, filled with the delicious smelling soup, and thanked him. She delicately put her lips to the bowl and took the smallest sip to avoid burning her tongue.

"Mm." The girl always thought that food was one of the best ways to find comfort. "It taste lovely, Sebastian."

Alyss smiled at Bronte before tasting the soup. "Gah!" She hissed pulling her face back, her face scrunched up. "It's really hot." She muttered.

Sebastian smiled. "Glad you like it. Once we get some stuff growing I'll probably be able to make stuff aside from soup." He said before getting himself a bowl.

"We used to live on a farm so I can help you with the crops if you want" said Brad a bit shyly. He didn't know him very well but he seemed nice and the soup tasted great. Ash tossed some more loose twig into the fire wondering if she should say something.

Margot brightened at the thought. "Oh wonderful! I can't wait." She said to both Sebastian and the boy who came from a farm.

Bronte smirked a little as Alyss tasted the steaming soup, but he still asked, "are you okay? We could go find some water if you burnt yourself."

"It's fine, I've got it under control for now." She said. "Don't doubt my taste-buds are now burnt to a crisp, but I can do without them for a while."

Sebastian nodded. "Neither can I. I'll sort through the supplies tomorrow see what kind of plantables we've got stored."

@dw_side is no longer part of the RP as they have been inactive for a while.

Sebastian smiled, "Thanks. That means a lot."
Darkness had fallen over the camp and Sebastian noted how it suddenly swamped them, no warning really. With the night also came deep cold.
"Were there any blankets with the hammocks?"

"I think we left a pile of blankets folded by the opened boxes." Margot tried to recall all the things she'd unpacked in the last couple hours.

@poe @werewolf I wish so too but people aren't active any more and when they do sign-up they all leave.

"Alright, let's get to that stuff and we can get the hammocks all set up for people, warm the blankets by the fire and wrap people up in them and send them to bed all nice and warm." Sebastian said.
